“dependable software”

Pros

One of the best parts of using the software is how quickly it handles user engagement features. Being able to build a full website where visitors can log in with Facebook, without having to do much more than hit publish, is a huge plus.

Cons

The biggest downside is the price since it can get pretty expensive. If it were free or already included, it would be an amazing website builder because it offers so much versatility. I also wish more of the apps weren't locked behind extra payments.

Pros

After more than 8 years of using this tool to build and manage several websites, it still feels very easy to work with. The platform is simple to use and its SEO tools are solid and dependable.

Cons

One thing that's still missing for me is a clearly defined way to reach customer support.

Coming from a robotics engineering background and teaching robotics at the college level, I'm very comfortable with programming but this still stands out because it's so simple to use even at my level. One thing I'd really love to see is their version of ChatGPT built into the platform. If that already exists and I've just missed it, I'd appreciate some guidance by email on how to access and use it.

Cons

I don't have an issue using the bots but there are some questions they just can't handle. That said I was really pleased with how quickly I was transferred to a real person when the bot couldn't help.

Starting off was affordable and simple enough to set up which seemed promising at first. But once your business depends on receiving payments, the problems begin because they can suddenly hold your money without warning.

Cons

My biggest warning is about their payments. They approved my account months ago and had already paid out thousands of dollars but now they've put my funds on hold again. This time, nobody even contacted me to let me know. I had to chase them down myself, only to be told there was a hold in place and they couldn't even explain why. If your business relies on timely access to the money you earn, do not use the payments option. Their support is far too unresponsive and the customer service has been terrible.

Working with this software feels very easy and the customer service has been absolutely excellent.

Does cost more once you add all the apps needed to stay competitive but the tools do their job and they do it well. Customer service has been excellent too, with quick and helpful responses whenever needed.

Launching a site is very easy even without any coding background. Adding content like photos and videos is simple because you can just drag and drop everything into place. Compared with other website builders, this one feels much better to use.

Cons

A few features are still missing from the platform and I hope they'll be added in a future version.

With only a small amount of information entered into the required fields, the tool produced a beautiful, well-organized website that was simple to figure out.

Although the site looked beautiful, trying to switch to another host or change how the site was managed was difficult and frustrating.

Having APIs available to manage and export collected data is a big plus and the integration with Google Calendar adds a lot of convenience to the overall workflow.

Some limitations still stand out: only one person can edit the site at a time, there's no point-in-time rollback for individual pages, switching between pages in the editor can feel slow and the lack of chat-based customer support makes resolving issues take longer.

Creating and redesigning my sites has always been very easy. The online customer support is excellent and I keep recommending it to other people in my field.

Cons

Every now and then, the page glitches. The title text on my main page can bunch up and overlap and the graphic doesn't always show up.

One of the biggest perks with this is that new users get a free domain for the first year. The platform is very user friendly, there are lots of templates available to pick from and getting a site live is quick and easy.

Cons

Sometimes, I've run into bugs while using it. Text alignment can shift or look off after the page is published and every now and then some elements disappear from the editor on their own.

Getting started with website building is fairly manageable for a beginner. It feels a bit slow in the beginning but after a short time it becomes much easier to use and you can accomplish quite a lot without being especially tech-savvy.

The customer support is really disappointing. Even with simple questions, they often don't have answers, say the issue needs to be escalated and then nothing ever comes back. The blogging feature also lacks a proper live preview and even regular page previews often don't match how the page actually appears. SEO guidance is also very poor and the support staff seemed completely unfamiliar with basic things like an H1 tag. Since I was new to this, I asked three employees about it and none of them knew--it ended up just meaning heading 1. That level of support is not acceptable.

Even without any design background, I was able to put together a website that people have said looks really solid and that comes down to the tools it provides. If you can handle something as basic as Microsoft Paint, you can probably get a site live here without much trouble. On top of that, the few times I reached out to customer support, they were quick to respond and genuinely helpful.

Nothing about the platform has really stood out as being particularly bad to me.

Comes with a huge range of features and integrations which makes it really useful. The free .com domain included with the plans is a nice bonus and building a website feels pretty effortless thanks to the hundreds of templates available. I also appreciate the different payment gateway options since they make it possible to accept payments from customers around the world.

One thing that disappointed me was the limited number of emails included in the email marketing feature. Since I paid for an annual plan, I feel like basic marketing tools should be included at no extra cost or at least there should be more emails available with a yearly subscription. The inventory options also feel a bit limited right now although that seems like something that could definitely be improved.

Free plan includes branded ads which can be distracting. The SEO tools are fairly basic as well so optimization could be stronger. It's also difficult to move a site away from the software later because of its proprietary technology.

The tools are beginner friendly so building a site from scratch feels manageable even for someone completely new to it. The e-commerce side still has a lot of room to improve. There are quite a few bugs and some important features are missing which makes it less reliable for running a full storefront.

Running a small business comes with a lot of advantages and it really helps when you're trying to grow your brand online. The features are useful across the board especially the customization options that let you design the site the way you want without much trouble. Customer support has also been great which makes the whole experience even better.

I haven't noticed any major drawbacks being overlooked though I've recently seen that some websites can be a little late when it comes to updates.
