Feels very manageable to figure out on your own. It offers two website-building modes: a drag and drop option for quick designing and a development mode for anyone who wants to work with their own code. Adding widgets is also quite simple which makes customizing the site much more convenient.

Cons

A lot of answers are already buried in the FAQs but it can be frustrating to dig through everything to find what you need. There were also times when it felt like it took forever to get through to customer support.

After dealing with it for the past 8 years, I'm completely fed up. I've overlooked the buggy site builder and those useless so-called help articles more times than I should have but this feels like the breaking point. I've been working on my website little by little for years, uploading photos and media over that whole time. Then today I tried to upload just one PDF and it suddenly told me I was 2.5 GB over the 500 MB storage limit. Apparently some bug had been allowing uploads for years and now one basic PDF pushed everything over. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with support and while the representative was kind, he couldn't do anything about this ridiculous system. Their answer was that I need to pay $200 a year just to upload a PDF to my own site. That feels like a complete rip-off. I'm a performing artist and I simply don't have that kind of money to throw at a yearly website fee. It's incredibly frustrating. If I had known about this storage cap 8 years ago, I would have stopped building the site immediately and moved to a better platform. Between the constant glitches and how hard it is to even find a customer support phone number, I've had plenty of reasons to leave before. The problem is, after spending so many years building a project, starting over from scratch is hard to justify. At this point I'd rather move to Squarespace but they won't even give me source code to transfer elsewhere because they claim it only works on the software. It's absurd.

Starting off has been really easy especially as a new business trying to get everything up and running. The platform is simple to figure out and anytime I've needed assistance, the support team has been incredibly helpful.

Cons

An issue I did run into was with the app while it was connected to Legal Zoom. I'm still not sure what caused that problem but I'm hopeful the team will be able to get it resolved soon.

Getting started with web design feels much more approachable with this platform. It's a really solid option for beginners because it offers very good functions. One of the best parts is that you can build a website based on your own requirements without needing to do much coding which makes the whole process far less intimidating. It also helps by suggesting keywords and supporting SEO so your site has a better chance of reaching more people. On top of that, there are plenty of customization options and the interface is very user friendly. Definitely worth trying at least once.

There really isn't much to dislike but there are a couple of things to be aware of. The free version includes quite a few ads which can be noticeable. Also, not every feature is available unless you choose a paid plan so the free version does come with some limitations. As long as you keep that in mind, it's still something you can work with.

Building custom websites and individual pages with this software has been really versatile for us. The platform comes with a wide range of rich default templates and there are plenty more to choose from depending on the type of site we want to create. On top of that it also does a really solid job with content management which makes the whole website-building process even more useful.
