“Makes Tracking Hours Easy!

Pros

I'm really impressed by the capability to group tasks and projects into different categories. We utilize these groups to break down each project according to different organizational entities. This makes it easy to track the hours dedicated to each group and identify which one consumes most of my time. Another highly valuable feature for me is the workload report, which allows me to quickly assess the number of projects I have within a specific time frame. For instance, in the next three weeks, I have a total of 29 projects to work on.

Cons

The Timeline feature is the only aspect that poses any issues for me. While the information it provides is useful, I find the task dragging capability too sensitive. However, this could also be due to my own user error.

I searched a lot for software that would cater to the needs of a fast-paced consulting firm with remote employees which provides an easy overview of project progress and allow quick adjustments to timelines based on quick discussions with team members. Well my search ended on 5pm.

Cons

It would be great to have a few more customizable fields for more detailed sorting. Additionally, improved handling of non-project tasks would be beneficial. Lastly, having a CRM component would be a cool addition.

The two benefits are, it is easy to organize projects and tasks for various departments within our marketing team.

Sometimes, using the search function can be challenging, and I occasionally accidentally have the "all users" view selected.

The option of organizing of everything within the tab system is something I love, and the fact that the search box remains easily accessible at the top of the page, regardless of other functionalities I choose to use in the meantime.

The software has a outdated appearance, which makes it less comprehensible to me. However, I imagine the new beta interface is specifically designed to address this issue. Additionally, the report feature doesn't allow for viewing only a few selected projects as it's either all projects or just one.

This software provides a centralized location for me and my clients to store all conversations and files related to our projects. If there are any questions, it is easy to refer back and review previous discussions or access relevant files. As a small company interacting with numerous individuals from larger organizations, it greatly helps in keeping everything organized and on schedule.

Cons

Personally, I haven't encountered any issues with the software.

It's a reliable project management software for handling simple projects, tasks and tickets.

The software lacks task dependency handling and doesn't support agile project processes. Additionally, the mobile app is not very impressive.

The only drawback I can think of is the software's design. It feels very outdated and old-fashioned. It would be fantastic if it could be updated to have a more visually appealing interface.

After using 5PM for a considerable period, I really like how convenient it is to provide my team with everything they need in a single platform. I can easily set deadlines, assign tasks and even communicate with my team directly from the interface. I also like that the WYSIWYG interface is continuously improving, allowing me to swiftly create bulleted lists, copy and paste formatted content and add links to external sources.

Cons

Occasionally, when dealing with a substantial number of projects (such as hundreds), the system can experience some slowness. However, there are ways to optimize its performance, and the support team is always prompt in addressing any issues.

5pm is priceless to my team as it allows us to easily track our work progress, which can help us in making future decisions regarding time and budget.

There are times when the organization is not as easy as it should be and I believe 5pm can make improvements in this department. Also having additional categories would be helpful.

Being able to have all our projects in one place and track their progress is a great advantage.

I believe it would be beneficial for the institution to have a convenient link in the SSO system for easier access to 5PM.

During the initial rollout, our company may not have fully understood the abilities of 5PM, which has made it more difficult to use than it should be. We have a diverse workforce, and different demographics struggle with self-teaching and using various functions in the software. This isn't a fault of 5PM, but I wanted to provide this feedback.

The ease of use is fantastic. It opens everything in a new window which saves time.

Cons

Currently, there isn't anything I dislike. Whenever we encounter any issues, we instantly report them to the 5pm team, and they take immediate action to address them.

It looks like it offer functionality for most general requirements. You can create tasks, assign individuals, and more.

Cons

The user interface feels cluttered, unattractive and unintuitive. It would greatly benefit from a redesign. Also it's possible that 5pm has more functionality than I have acknowledged, but I'm not willing to spend significant time searching for hidden features or trying to decipher the distinction between a task and an activity. If I can't log in and figure it out within a minute, it becomes cumbersome.
