Marketing Specialist

Pros

Having a platform to arrange projects, tasks and collaborate effectively with my team is what we were looking for. Well 5pm done it for us and we are very happy discovering this platform.

Cons

When a teammate replies to me and requests the response to be emailed, I often don't receive the email, and there's no notification within 5pm itself. The only way I can see the response is by remembering to actively check for it.

Good, but could be better

Pros

5pm allows me to convey my message properly and quickly.

Cons

The user interface has a slightly outdated feel, resembling Windows XP, and it can be slow at times. A visual upgrade with a clean and modern design would be beneficial.

A best in class tool for small business project mgt

Pros

I love just about everything. The interface is visually appealing and intuitive. The tool fulfills all my needs for managing a team of 14 editors and numerous projects through complex steps in preparing manuscripts for publication. The ability to clone tasks without duplicating all the content is helpful, and the fast load times and reliable cloud-based access from any computer are fantastic. Document management is also incredibly easy.

Cons

The only thing I wish for is a way for users to confirm message receipt, if such a feature exists. Having a "like" button or something similar that task team members can click to acknowledge receipt and reading would be beneficial.

5PM Review : Account Executive POV

Pros

I find it valuable to group my jobs by Job Number and add multiple sub-tasks or involve my team members for a more specific breakdown. I also like the email notifications that keep us all informed.

Cons

If the team assigned to a particular job excludes someone, and the team has been trained to "Copy all team" without manually selecting individuals, there is a possibility of someone being left out of the loop. However, this is more of a training issue within our organization rather than a flaw with the software itself.

My experience with 5PM

Pros

I'm very impressed by the ease of using templates to import new projects. It saves our company a significant amount of time since our projects are nearly identical, with variations only in customers, purchased modules, and start dates. Additionally, I love the seamless printing and exporting of entire projects, tasks, and sub-tasks.

Cons

Changing the dates of the parent project or a task within it doesn't always update the due dates for dependent tasks, which can be frustrating.

Excellent program

Pros

Allows collaboration with individuals regardless of their location in the world and it is user friendly.

Cons

Regarding reports, I would prefer to have the ability to customize them according to my specific requirements. Also it would be useful to have a feature to mark tasks as "invoiced." Since I send invoices to my clients once a month, there are tasks that span longer periods. Being able to mark the tasks I've invoiced and leave the rest unmarked would be beneficial. This way, for the next invoice, I can easily identify which tasks and how many hours I can bill my clients for.

Lots of value packed in one little program

Pros

Using 5PM feels intuitive. In our agile workplace, we use it for job assignments, where numerous small tasks are distributed among different contractors. We can grant each user access to all the tools they need, including Dropbox, Google Drive, Office 365 and link all the resources together.

Cons

The customer support is exceptional, and there's nothing to dislike. If there's something I'd like to have, they always find a way to deliver it. The reporting system can be a bit confusing, but I haven't spent much time reading the documentation, so with a little effort everything is available.

5pm Review

Pros

The hierarchical structure, similar to a file system, is something I found appealing.

Cons

When searching for old projects/tickets, if I open a closed one, my current view gets disrupted, and I have to configure it again to show only open/active tickets.

5PM Review

Pros

The task-oriented nature of this platform and the ability to input data in small increments with detailed information are both fantastic features.

Cons

Both the interface and the generated reports have an outdated and unappealing appearance. I also experience frequent logouts.

5PM Review

Pros

I like how it consolidates tasks and provides a daily to-do list.

Cons

Regular tasks and parent tasks can be confusing. Personally, I find it easier and faster to share files through a server or email rather than loading them onto 5PM. The software tends to be very slow unless you have an exceptionally fast internet connection.

5pm easy!

Pros

The ease of use is remarkable. No training is required to get up and running, and the interface is intuitive.

Cons

It would be better to have a larger attachment size. Occasionally, I'm compelled to resort to alternative methods for transferring files. Furthermore, the overall visual design of the platform could be more polished.

A Solid Project Management Tool

Pros

I've been using 5pmweb for several years now, and it has proven to be a dependable project management tool. I particularly enjoy the Gantt charting feature.

Cons

The design doesn't do justice to the software. It offers numerous great features, but the design itself feels very outdated. It is also strange that when replying via email, the post gets added to the thread, but the people in that thread don't receive notifications. This has led to missed messages, requiring us to regularly check all the open tickets in 5pmweb to ensure no new notes have been added via email replies.

Simple and effective

Pros

5pm is the best example of a project management tool that focuses on doing things it is meant to do without creating complexities. It has an easy learning curve while still offering all the necessary functions.

Cons

The project keyword search could benefit from advanced features.
