strong integrations

Pros

My favorite part of this software is how flexible it is when integrating with other apps and websites to collect data, then present that data in a bunch of different views. Everything looks polished and it's simple to get charts or dashboards set up in multiple ways.

Cons

Pricing runs a little higher than other similar options. Also, it can get a bit tricky to manage when you're working with several databases at once or trying to merge everything into one unified, comprehensive dashboard.

Quick Excel import

Pros

Importing Excel sheets doesnt take much time and the multi select fields are really useful when you need to capture multiple values in one go. I also like that you can customize fields to fit the way your data actually needs to be organized, instead of forcing everything onto a fixed template.

Cons

There are just too many different "views," which makes it confusing to tell which portion of the dataset you're currently working on. The export data option exists but it's buried in the interface so it's not obvious when you're trying to pull results out. Filtering gets tricky once your setup gets more complex and the system can feel slow when you try to make changes. On top of that the pricing plan puts limits on how many rows you can use which can be a dealbreaker if you're working with larger datasets.

project organization made easy

Pros

Keeping everything organized by project is a big win for me and it's easy to see where each thing stands in terms of progress. I also appreciate that the platform lets me customize things to match how my workflow works.

Cons

More training on the different features and what they actually do would be really helpful. I'd also like a simpler way to share updates with clients without having to give them access to the whole sheet there is a sharing option but clients can't add comments.

centralized data management

Pros

One of the features I enjoy most is being able to keep all our data in a single site and manage every piece of information from there for all the other sites we need. The workflow feels smooth and building/constructing databases is pretty easy. Overall, it simplifies everything and keeps the info organized without any trouble.

Cons

The only thing I could mention is that the visuals aren't the most exciting but it doesn't really affect what the tool is meant to do so it's not a dealbreaker.

powerful database

Pros

It feels spot on for managing data and staying productive. I've been using it on a simple website as a contact form and it works reliably every incoming request shows up in a clean table view. It also fits well for contact management (for agencies and freelancers) plus project follow ups. Overall it behaves a bit like Excel but it's more powerful for makers and marketers.

Cons

Can feel a bit too expensive and while some premium features look genuinely useful, I can't justify paying for them since they aren't a priority right now.

Fantastic support team

Pros

We're using this platform as our singular database to keep all our data and the way it connects with Webflow and other website platforms makes day to day management much simpler. On top of that the support team has been fantastic whenever we hit a snag or want to test a new workflow or solution, they're quick to help and show up when you need them.

Cons

Getting started took a little longer than expected. The interface can feel complex at first and with so many marketplace apps available, it's easy to get overwhelmed while you're still learning the setup.

data sharing powerhouse

Pros

Totally changed how I handle my day to day work. I can automate repetitive tasks, share information with teammates and pull together data quickly without a lot of manual effort. It's become so woven into my workflow that I honestly can't picture operating without it.

Cons

Where it falls short for me is exporting data as it isn't as smooth or functional as I'd like.

cross sheet tagging looks great

Pros

This tool makes cross sheet tagging and categorizing effortless and the overall visual experience feels stronger than what I've seen in competing options.

Cons

If you're running into it for the first time, it can get a bit complex during setup and day to day use. There's definitely a learning curve to get fully comfortable with it.

non coder friendly database automation

Pros

Coming from a non coder background, this made it possible for me to handle database management without needing to write code and it supports a ton of different use cases. When we connect it with Zapier, our team can build workflows, automate repetitive tasks, manage records and keep everything under control things that would've required expensive developers before.

Cons

Earlier on, we occasionally ran into situations where parts would break and since we rely on it heavily, those incidents could turn into real headaches. That said, it's been happening less and less over time and the quality control around new deployments seems to have improved a lot.

flexible workflows

Pros

I use it to pull together different datasets and combine them with a mix of visualizations which makes it useful for keeping day to day operations running on real data. It's become pretty necessary for supporting data driven decisions within the company.

Cons

The platform could improve how it handles data visualization settings across different regions. For example, when we're working with currencies from various locations, there's no way to switch the format which disrupts daily workflow. To make things work, we end up exporting everything to another tool that follows the local standard and the process gets messy.

versatile data organizing with Airtable

Pros

Quick to pick up and really flexible for the kinds of data I was organizing. I could structure things in a bunch of different ways without feeling boxed in.

Cons

Automation was a bit tricky at times though that seemed more tied to how the connecting apps behaved rather than Airtable itself. When problems came up, the documentation made it much easier to figure out where the issue was coming from and how to fix it.

Useful templates

Pros

Lets a product manager put together a solid project architecture that stays consistent and can be reused across lots of different initiatives. After you build a template once, you can copy and paste it for new projects which helps ensure nothing gets skipped in the process. It's also great for producing clear, easy to read executive updates.

Cons

Getting teammates to actually log in and use the system can be tough if they're coming from a workflow built around emails and spreadsheets.

Multi purpose powerhouse

Pros

Makes pretty much any other spreadsheet style tool feel underpowered. It's like taking Google Sheets and adding a whole bunch of extra capabilities especially for capturing sorting and analyzing data. I like the range of options and I would've used it as the central hub for my business if it handled task management and time tracking a bit better. That said, it does everything else extremely well and I still rely on it for managing clients, monitoring sales and sales targets and keeping a clear view of my sales pipeline.

Cons

Pricing gets steep. As soon as I added team members, the cost jumped up pretty quickly. It's still worth it in general but for a smaller business like ours, it was tough to justify everyone needing their own individual account.

customizable interface

Pros

Feels like a mix of a spreadsheet, a database and a task/project management tool all in one. You can also customize your interface to fit the way you work, including using a calendar view so you can easily see dates.

Cons

One limitation I've noticed is with date fields: when you enter dates in a table, you can't customize the formatting or settings for just a single field. You typically have to adjust it at the column level instead which is a bit inconvenient.

easy project tracking

Pros

One of my go to apps especially compared to the other tools I've used. It helps me stay on top of dozens of projects at once, follow my team's performance and handle basic team management too, with plenty of flexibility for different workflows.

Cons

The only area I'd change is customer support getting responses a bit faster would make the experience even better.

Solid workflow

Pros

We use it to map out social calendars that require approval, keep track of active projects and organize work across teams. Getting employees and clients comfortable with the platform is pretty smooth because the setup and interface stay simple.

Cons

It's simple by design so it doesn't really hold up when you need something more complex. There are also limitations around apps and integrations and they aren't very customizable.

helpful collaboration capabilities

Pros

Collaboration on data across teams has been really helpful. Setting up data relations visually is simple and you don't need a computer science background to get value from it.

Cons

If your existing system already includes a database feature, this can feel completely irrelevant since it doesn't add much in that case.

strong features

Pros

Our team switched from Google Sheets to Airtable and it's definitely far more capable than GSheets. The extra functionality really helps especially since we use this as a central database for all our content while keeping task management in a separate Trello board. That said some of its features are harder to wrap your head around and it takes time to fully get the setup working the way we want. Overall, it's powerful but you have to put in effort to squeeze out the best use for your workflows.

Cons

Connecting it with Trello or Notion is a bit difficult so integration takes extra work compared to what you'd expect.
