Customer support is a standout and it genuinely helps you get into the details through webinars, guides, videos and other resources. I'm still getting the hang of things and day to day I'm using it for managing data and content, plus scheduling and planning (and a bit of everything else). The interface is user friendly and navigation feels easy. Being free is also a big plus since you can test it without a trial period, then upgrade later if it fits your needs. The drag and drop workflow and the pre built templates are especially helpful for non technical users. On top of that it works across different platforms which makes it convenient depending on what device you're on.

Cons

Since I'm still early in using it, there aren't any real deal breakers I can point to yet and everything has been running smoothly so far. That said, there's still improvement potential like with any product. From what I've observed so far, it does come with a bit of a learning curve and it takes some patience to get comfortable. It may not be the best fit for people who really don't want to learn a new tool especially when you're new to the platform. Every new software comes with some onboarding effort and the difference is mostly how you approach the learning part.

The standout feature for me is how customizable the tables are. You can configure the settings exactly the way you need and importing data feels simple especially when moving from Google Sheets. That integration is genuinely helpful when you're trying to get everything set up quickly.

A few parts of the task management/board workflows don't feel ideal though it could work as an alternative if you pair it with another tool to cover the full 360 software needs.

There isn't much I can complain about based on what I've tried because everything I've seen looks solid. The only real issue is that it doesn't fit my team's needs. Most of what it offers overlaps with tools we already use and are comfortable with so adopting it wouldn't really make sense for us.

There's still room to improve at the moment, tables can't be linked across separate bases. Also, features like highlighting rows or data based on specific conditions or criteria aren't available yet.

A really solid tool that can replace Excel in a lot of day to day tasks and it covers nearly everything I need. The tutorial videos are really helpful in getting you started with it and it also doubles as a genuinely useful CRM. The filtering options are great too there are plenty of possibilities to create different views based on what you're trying to track. Another handy feature is the ability to share certain views publicly.

Cons

Learning a few basic parts of the tool still feels a bit slow since you end up spending quite a bit of time going through the tutorial videos to figure out simple settings.

Using this software has been a pleasant surprise especially for teamwork its collaboration features are genuinely impressive. There's also plenty of room to customize things to fit different workflows. Overall, it's a solid pick and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a strong collaboration focused platform.

The only letdown is that permissioning can't be customized. Everything else has worked well for me.

I really enjoy being able to see everything at a glance, laid out clearly in a snapshot view. When I need more information, it's just a simple click to expand and dig deeper.

This feels really user friendly and rolling it out didnt take long so everything was set up pretty easily. The UI database makes it simple to manage and keep track of all my tasks in one place. It also works across every platform and I can edit and update records from anywhere which is super convenient.

Requires a lot of repetitive steps. There are plenty of times where simple things like basic record keeping feel more monotonous than they should. I also wish the filtering process were simpler.

Completely changed how I organize and use my data and honestly it's hard to go back to Excel or Google Sheets now because it feels so much more capable.

The extensions ecosystem is a nice bonus but I'd love to see Airtable keep adding more built in features that currently depend on third party add ons. The Interfaces concept is interesting but it doesn't feel that useful for my workflow unless those interfaces are accessible to people who aren't already using it. It would also be great if there were better options for sharing databases with specific editing controls.

Helped me organize my research timeline sorting out my dates, the expected length of each step and the deadline for every stage. It also made it easier to prioritize the steps and included a way to mark a step as completed once I'd finished it.

It doesn't provide any guidance or explanation when something feels unclear so you're left without a solid reason for the doubt. I'd suggest adding a simpler option that would better support people with learning challenges.

Our team uses it to share backlogs with cross functional stakeholders so they can clearly see the status of their requests along with how our competing priorities line up. The layout is also easy to follow so everyone understands what's going on without much extra explanation.

When it comes to plugging this software into our existing workflows, we've had some trouble. A few times it ends up feeling like another administrative step we have to manage, rather than something that actually simplifies how we get work done.

Has a great range of visual options like grid, calendar, Kanban and more. Having a template ready to go made setup quick and I was able to get everything running quickly. The free plan also feels solid, with plenty of features and helpful collaboration tools included.

Getting things configured and customized can feel a bit fiddly at first so there's a learning curve involved. After you get it set up and dial everything in, the workflow becomes much smoother and overall it works really well.

Our marketing agency used this for project management and it worked really well for us. The standout part is how many solid options it offers being able to assign tasks, manage them and update the workflow as things change was a big help for keeping projects organized.

Understanding how to it works and how to use it took a bit of time and it wasn't immediately simple to walk our client through it. Explaining the workflow clearly enough for them to understand the current status and task completion took some extra effort.
