“Collaboration is useful but feels dated”
Pros
One of the reasons I began using Asana was that it made online collaboration much simpler with other people. Back then, the features it offered helped me share files and goals with my team as well as with other teams I was involved with.
Cons
At this point though its tools do not seem to have evolved much compared with earlier versions, while newer apps have come out with more features. For instance some current tools combine task management with Pomodoro timing and that is a function I consider genuinely valuable.

“Helpful task sharing, awkward layout”
Pros
Sharing tasks across the team works well and it's useful being able to assign work to different team members. The reminders also help keep deadlines from slipping by when tasks need to be completed.
Cons
Getting around the platform isn't very easy and the reminders can start to feel irritating when tasks are delayed. It can also get confusing when it is being used for several different purposes at once.

“Clean project tracking visibility”
Pros
Between personal projects and team collaboration, this tool has been consistently useful. The Kanban view is my favorite part because it makes it very clear what's currently in progress, what's already finished and how the whole project is moving along. It gives a really decent high level snapshot of everything, while still offering the more detailed information needed for anyone tracking specific tasks more closely.
Cons
The interface can feel a bit sterile although I wouldn't really call that a major downside since it's meant to stay clean and focused. That said having a few more customization options for projects or client channels would be a nice addition.

“Checklists shine”
Pros
Using it has been really enjoyable because it's easy to navigate and makes working with others feel effortless. The checklist feature is also a big plus for me as I absolutely love having that kind of organization built in.
Cons
I feel like the free version could offer a few more customization options although I understand the reason those limitations are there.

“Easy project management fit”
Pros
After trying other project management tools and forcing them to work for our process, it made that extra effort unnecessary. Everything we need to handle is easy to set up and it doesn't take a manual to understand. Also it is user friendly and light to use.
Cons
It's a bit unexpected that you can't move a task from one project to another.

“Versatile fit for small teams”
Pros
This software is very easy to use. Plus it offers a wide range of features which makes it quite versatile and it works especially well for small businesses.
Cons
I'm very happy with the product overall though I do wish the reminders were a bit more noticeable. At times I still need to send manual reminders to my team.

“Clean project view”
Pros
Even as a new user it didn't take long to get used to. Also the interface is clear and the way it shows projects is nice to look at and enjoyable to work with. The portfolio feature was especially handy since it lets me group projects together when managing a larger number of them.
Cons
The mobile app could be a bit more user friendly. I understand the screen space is limited but I'd still like to see the UI improved there.

Pros
Getting a quick overview of my projects in one place has been really helpful and being able to tag teammates in the comments makes notifications and collaboration much more efficient.
Cons
Using it on mobile can be a bit challenging, probably because there are so many fields, records and other details packed into it.

“Organized and fun”
Pros
there's a lot to appreciate here. The customer support is excellent and there are tons of training videos that walk you through the different features and how everything works. It's incredibly helpful for staying organized when you're juggling a huge number of projects At the same time and it makes assigning projects and tasks to other people really simple. On top of all the practical task-management features, one of the things I enjoy most is the quirky little animations. Every now and then, when you complete a task, you get a celebratory animation that pops up like a nerdy little digital reward. My favorite is the unicorn flying across the screen. It's obviously not essential for productivity but it's fun and gives the software a little extra personality. Sometimes those small details really do make the experience better.
Cons
Because it is so customizable and packed with features, it does take some time to learn. There are a lot of settings and options to sort through so getting comfortable with all the details can be a bit of a process. That said the training videos are very helpful and the customer service team is excellent when you need assistance. One thing I would really change is the way recurring tasks work. Right now, when a task is set to repeat, the next instance doesn't appear until the current one has been marked complete. I'd much rather be able to see all recurring tasks in advance especially in calendar view so I can get a clear picture of what's coming up over the next several months. It's not a huge problem but it's definitely something I'd love to see improved in a future update.

“Team collaboration that clicks”
Pros
Getting a project up and running in it is really easy. Assigning team members, adding tasks and jumping into the work doesn't take much effort. Also I really enjoy being able to chat within specific tasks, check everyone's progress and keep an eye on workload across the team.
Cons
There's not much to complain about but the discussions feature could definitely be better. Each project has a discussions area though it's tucked away in a dropdown and the overall interface feels a bit plain. It would be much better if Discussions were more visible and placed front and center.

“all in one team productivity”
Pros
Across our teams it has made collaboration much better and helped boost productivity. Any authorized user can access projects and tasks from anywhere even while at home which keeps work moving without interruptions. It also makes it simple to track the progress of ongoing projects and tasks while on the go. The platform is very user friendly, customizable to match specific needs and works really well for budgeting projects and tasks. It basically brings everything we need into one place. On top of that it helps speed up payments through quick invoice preparation.
Cons
Nothing to complain about since it covers everything we need.

“Fantastic timeline planning tools”
Pros
With everything I'm juggling, Asana does a really good job of helping me organize and prioritize multiple tasks and projects at once. One feature I especially appreciate is the date functionality, particularly being able to use both firm deadlines and date ranges. When that's shown in timeline view or on a Gantt chart, it becomes much easier to map out the next few weeks and manage my time in a way that feels intentional.
Cons
This isn't really a major downside but we had expected a little more from its and Salesforce integration. That said the limitation has more to do with the very specific way our organization uses Salesforce than with the quality of the integration itself.

“Perfect for video planning”
Pros
Keeping my YouTube content organized has been a huge plus with Asana. I can drop in ideas for new videos Right away then move each one through every stage as I work on it, from planning and filming to editing, uploading and promoting. It makes the whole project flow much easier to manage.
Cons
there is not much to complain about. The only adjustment was switching from organizing everything offline in folders to using the platform but it did not take long to get comfortable with it.
