“Fast onboarding”
Pros
Getting new team members started does not take much work and the platform is easy to use. Also the templates are especially helpful because they make it simpler to set up and organize workflows.
Cons
Compared with the desktop version, the mobile app feels noticeably less capable. I'm not really sure there's a perfect fix for that since a phone will always have less screen space than a desktop.

“Clean design”
Pros
It is a simple tool and having both mobile and desktop versions makes it easy to use anywhere. The interface stays clean without feeling cluttered or overly flashy and the little unicorn touches add some personality. I also like that the free version still includes plenty of useful features instead of feeling too limited.
Cons
The only real downside is that the calendar doesn't sync with other calendars like Gmail which would make planning a lot more convenient. Other than that, there's honestly not much to complain about especially for a free tool.

“Powerful task structure”
Pros
Being able to connect work to company goals in the paid plan is a real benefit. The nested subtasks are one of my favorite features compared with Trello since it lets you create subtasks within subtasks and even shows the first level of subtasks right on the card without needing to open it. Another big advantage is that the same task can exist in multiple projects and it's the exact same task rather than a copy so any updates are reflected everywhere automatically with no extra work. Switching between board and table views is also very smooth and easy which still feels better handled here than in Trello and many other tools.
Cons
One downside is that it doesn't offer as broad an add-on ecosystem as some competitors like Trello or Todoist. It also lacks a true label system so the workaround is creating separate projects for labels which doesn't feel nearly as tidy. On top of that the pricing is a little high at around $10 per user each month.

“Instant team visibility”
Pros
We rely on this software every day and the biggest benefit is being able to update any project while the whole team sees those changes immediately.
Cons
One frustrating part is that when I create a subtask and mark it complete, it kicks me out of the original task instead of keeping me there after finishing that step.

“Helpful team task tracking”
Pros
It's a really good way to handle recurring tasks by turning them into team to-do lists and it works well for keeping process based activities on track when more than one person is involved.
Cons
That said the project management side has a few weak spots. It can be harder than expected to keep projects tidy and properly organized compared with other project management tools and the options for managing personal task lists feel a little limited.

“All teams stay aligned”
Pros
Asana has become essential for keeping everyone on the same page. It makes tasks simple to update, visible to the whole team and helps everyone track project progress clearly.
Cons
There's a small learning curve At first but it's no more than with any similar tool. Once you get used to how it works, it turns out to be a really strong product.

“Organized boards for team projects”
Pros
The boards and lists are really useful and it's fairly simple to add or remove team members and assign the right people to each project. The way projects are organized works really well.
Cons
At the same time it hasn't been very user friendly for us to use or fully understand. My team and I often feel overwhelmed by it so it hasn't been as helpful for managing large projects as we hoped because the learning curve feels too steep. It would be helpful to know whether there are classes or webinars available to teach teams how to use it more effectively.

“Project organization done right”
Pros
Asana lets me keep track of even the smallest details in my projects. I can organize my projects, teams, timelines and tasks all in one place which makes everything much easier to manage.
Cons
I can't think of any real downside. When issues come up, it's usually because someone on my team forgot to enter the details into it, not because of the platform itself.

“All project updates in one place”
Pros
It was a lifesaver at my previous job. My boss used to keep checking in with me about specific projects and it would eat up a lot of my time. Having everything tracked in one place kept her updated without all the constant follow-ups.
Cons
One thing that got frustrating at times was the number of reminders it sent. I couldn't always tell which ones mattered more than others so I ended up deleting a lot of the emails.

“Helpful team visibility, limited task view”
Pros
Asana works well for collaboration because everyone on the team can see what has been assigned to other members and the full workflow is tracked and color coded in a way that makes it simple to read.
Cons
The setup of the main page feels somewhat limited. When there are a lot of tasks, there isn't really a way to expand them so more text is visible on the screen.

“Top quick onboarding”
Pros
It keeps basic project management very clean and simple especially on the free plan. Also it is easy to get people started even when they have very different levels of comfort with technology. That said you do need the paid features if you want more advanced project management options and when I tried Pro some premium tools like Goals and workload insights didn't feel all that impressive.
Cons
It could do more to help users unlock its full potential. It wasn't obvious to me right away that the platform offers the kind of APIs and integrations it actually has. Because I clearly understood Airtable's capabilities, I ended up building a Customer Success tool there even though I probably would have built it in the tool if I had known it could support that.

“Helpful animations”
Pros
One thing I really enjoy about this tool is the design. Even small touches like the animation that appears when you mark a task as completed, make it feel rewarding to use. It's also easy to explain to other people which helps a lot when bringing others onto the platform.
Cons
A frustrating part is adding people to the company because they sometimes seem to get lost and can't see all the boards right away. That usually means they have to be added manually and I'm still trying to understand exactly who can see what and when.

“Organised event planning boost”
Pros
It is easy to use and showing other people how to use it doesn't take much effort either. Plus it works really well for managing several events at once and there are enough subcategory options to keep the details for each event neatly organized.
Cons
The pricing can make it a tougher fit for small businesses or solo users especially when compared with open-source alternatives. It can also feel too expensive for some mid-sized to larger organizations.

“Handy subtasks”
Pros
The interface looks clean and the option to nest subtasks is really useful. It also works well for collaborating with people who are out in the field.
Cons
One thing that's missing is the ability to create tasks or subtasks directly from templates like Trello offers. Instead, you have to duplicate them which doesn't really save time.

“Fantastic task tracking”
Pros
It was quick to set up and using it every day has been very hassle free. The platform seems easy to use especially since it sorts tasks by date which makes working through projects feel logical and well organized. Also it works great for collaboration because you can add notes and project updates so everyone can clearly see what's happening at any time.
Cons
I don't have any real complaints. It has worked reliably for our organization and has been a very valuable tool for the team.

“Visually appealing planner”
Pros
Asana works well across different areas of work and is very simple to use. The interface is visually appealing, grabs the attention of the people using it and ends up serving as a complete all in one agenda in a single place.
Cons
One thing that could be improved is the canvas background color. A softer tone instead of plain white would make it feel even more comfortable and inviting.

“Colorful teamwork”
Pros
A big plus is the variety of colorful tracking options, the clean user interface and how well it supports collaboration and interaction with team members.
Cons
There really is not much to complain about. The only thing worth mentioning is that if you are coming from more traditional project management software, it can take a little time to adjust to the way it works.

“Helpful reminders”
Pros
Setting up each project and then breaking it down into individual tasks is very easy. Adding subtasks and assigning team members works really well and the reminders help keep everything on track and on schedule.
Cons
I'd still like to see more customization options and better formatting for assignments. As the platform continues to grow and users share feedback, these kinds of simple additions seem like something it could implement without much trouble.

Pros
One thing I really like is how detailed it can be. That level of granularity makes it much easier to keep everything clear, concise and well organized.
Cons

“Project dashboards that deliver”
Pros
Starting a new role came with access to our company's Asana account and it has completely changed how I keep track of my work. Being able to put together a dashboard quickly and use it to view and manage all of my projects in one place has been incredibly useful. Another big plus is how simple it is to bring other team members into those projects with just a click which makes collaboration much easier.
Cons
I honestly don't have any complaints. It has been extremely helpful as I get settled into a new role that's centered around projects.
