Task tracking that keeps us aligned

Pros

Our team really values the task features because they keep everyone current on assignments and responsibilities. Overall it's been a really amazing piece of software for the business.

Cons

I'd still like to see more features for managing workloads and getting a clearer view of each team member's bandwidth.

top project tracking that keeps teams aligned

Pros

Being able to set up projects, tasks and subtasks with checkboxes has been really useful especially since each task or subtask can also include comments, assignees and due dates for different team members. Another part I appreciate is having a personal task list that shows everything assigned to me in one place.

Cons

At times the task and subtask setup felt a little too simplified for what we needed. That may have been more about us still figuring out the best way to use the platform since I am sure there were plenty of features available that we never fully took advantage of.

Daily task control done right

Pros

Every workday starts with me opening it to see exactly what needs to get done, followed up on or revisited. I rely on it constantly for both project management and day to day task tracking. As a demand generation manager, it helps me balance a lot at once without letting things get messy. I have even gotten my team using it too because it really helps with prioritization. If you're someone who loves to-do lists and that satisfying feeling of checking tasks off, this is definitely a tool worth using.

Cons

I am on the free plan so the features are fairly basic. That said I mainly use the task list and calendar views and for what I need day to day, they handle the job just fine.

Useful templates

Pros

This platform is pretty easy to use and it can be rolled out quickly with helpful shareable templates.

Cons

The weaker part is around duplicating tasks and removing recurring ones since those features feel limited. Because of that, you end up building extra processes on top of other processes just to keep everything managed.

powerful task tracking features

Pros

It comes with a lot of dynamic, useful features that make tracking personal tasks and team projects both enjoyable and easy.

Cons

Getting the most out of all its features does take some time since there's a bit of a learning curve at the beginning.

Helpful card drill-downs

Pros

The tool is very easy to use and I really enjoy how much detail you can drill into within a single card. It makes it possible to manage projects with multiple moving parts while keeping everything together in one place.

Cons

At the same time it can feel a bit complex and customizing the layout to fit different project management structures is harder than I'd like.

well designed task tracking

Pros

I find it user friendly from the start. The interface is well designed, user friendly and even fun to work with. Tracking tasks and progress can actually become a bit addictive in a good way.

Cons

One downside is that sharing information with teams that are not using it like engineering or product groups, can be difficult.

Top easy teamwork

Pros

Some of its features have a fun, quirky feel which makes using it more enjoyable. The overall user experience is very amazing too as it is simple, user friendly and easy to get around. Also it works really well for teamwork.

Cons

It does feel like a few features and functions are still missing and more flexibility would help make it a stronger, more powerful tool.

Powerful project tracking suite

Pros

As a project management platform, it covers just about everything you'd want to have. It handles scheduling, task management and overall project oversight all in one place.

Cons

There's no question it's a very powerful tool but the price is high. The annual subscription helps a little though it would be better if the pricing were based on users or made more customizable to fit each client's needs.

user friendly task tracking

Pros

The tool is simple and it didn't take long to learn or roll out. Assigning tasks to teammates works really well and the notifications they get help keep everyone on top of things. Managing tasks is simple and within tasks and subtasks it's convenient to handle due dates, assignments, notes and file sharing all in one place which has been really useful for communication and workflow. I also like being able to switch between different task views like lists and calendar. Everyone has their own preference for how they want to see their workload so having that flexibility is a big plus.

Cons

One thing I'd like to see improved is the budgeting side of it although to be fair I haven't explored all of its capabilities there yet. I have also had a hard time using it across different accounts since I work with several companies that use it. Switching between them isn't very convenient and it causes problems when trying to use the same email address.

Staying on track

Pros

Keeping up with tasks is much simpler with this software and it organizes projects in a clear way that never feels confusing. It's also very user friendly so getting started and understanding how everything works doesn't take much effort.

Cons

Well the free version only supports up to 15 teammates. Aside from that, the platform is user friendly and the timeline view does a really good job of preventing projects from overlapping which can otherwise become a big issue for a business.

Helpful task tracking for teams

Pros

As a task manager it is really user friendly. Adding tasks and descriptions is quick and the subtask feature is especially useful when collaborating with other people.

Cons

One thing I'd really like to see is the ability to add colors to different tasks or change the font color for better organization.

Team visibility that delivers

Pros

It works really well for keeping a team aligned and making sure every step in a process, like posting on YouTube or other social media platforms, gets completed. Once a task is finished, the whole team can immediately see that it's done and also know which team member completed it.

Cons

Getting started can feel a bit overwhelming if you're not familiar with the platform, mainly because there are so many options available upfront. Watching a YouTube tutorial first is probably the best way to understand how to set it up in a way that fits your business.

Versatile project planning tool

Pros

Asana has been really helpful for managing both short-term and long-term projects and it works well for companies of any size. It also offers a free version that's definitely worth trying before deciding whether to commit to it.

Cons

The only downside I have noticed is the limited integration with other apps in the basic version. If you want broader integration options, you need to pay for them.

Easy task views

Pros

It is very easy to use. The task layout is one of my favorite parts because it's so visual, well organized and simple to navigate. Working with my team through it has been easy and that has made collaboration much easier overall. The mobile app is also excellent and very reliable for staying on top of tasks when I am away from my computer.

Cons

I don't really have any complaints. If I had to point out one thing, it would be nice to have the ability to attach an image directly in the comments section of a task.

clear task dependencies

Pros

The task setup makes sense on paper, with a clear structure for organizing work and arranging dependencies in a logical way.

Cons

That said real projects do not always follow such a neat structure and the system felt too complex for the way work actually happens. I also relied on project management software to collaborate with clients but they never really engaged with it. After switching to Trello, client participation was noticeably better.

Secure task tracking

Pros

Asana makes it simple for team leads to keep an eye on tasks and each team member's responsibilities. It also comes with plenty of storage and the data feels very secure. The dashboard can be customized which helps make the workspace feel more personal and organized. It also integrates well with other tools like Dropbox and having a free plan available is a big plus.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve. At the beginning and it can feel a little intimidating for first-time users if they do not already have some knowledge of how these tools work.

Pros

The interface is user friendly, it can be customized to fit different needs and getting it up and running doesn't take much effort.

Fantastic task tracking workflow

Pros

Managing projects with it is very easy and laying everything out is simple. When a task is finished, marking it complete only takes a quick click.

Cons

It definitely took me a bit of time to get used to when I first started using it. I could handle the basics but it still feels like there are more features in the software that I haven't fully tapped into yet.

top team coordination hub

Pros

Asana has been excellent for bringing multiple people into the same project, keeping progress visible and housing communication, information and documentation all in one place. The G Suite sync is also a huge help especially when work requests come in by email.

Cons

Search is the part that could really be better. When I need to look back at a completed task and check what was done, it can be surprisingly hard to find the right one through the search feature.
