“Task updates”
Pros
One thing that really works well is how team members can create and assign tasks, then automatically get notified when I update or complete them. The @mention feature is also really useful for getting someone's attention quickly and the subtask option helps break work down nicely. It's also very simple to pick up and start using.
Cons
I don't have any real complaints about it. If anything, it would be nice to have a built-in messaging feature and color-coding tasks by assignment type could make things even more helpful.

“Versatile project planning”
Pros
As a project management tool this one worked really well for me. I especially liked being able to build project templates, assign tasks to teammates and organize work using different list options.
Cons
There are a lot of features packed into it and that made it feel a bit distracting for me at times.

“Realtime project tracking shines”
Pros
The standout feature for me is the real time project status tracking. It gives you a visual view of progress that integrates well with the rest of the tools which makes managing both projects and the team much more practical.
Cons
There isn't much to complain about aside from the pricing. The free plan doesn't really cover what I need and the premium tier feels too expensive. Since the cost is charged per user, it can get very costly for a whole team.

“Easy task tracking for shifts”
Pros
Our team relies on it to manage everyone's daily task lists especially since we work with machinery that has to be cleaned on specific days and the samples we collect change as well. It's very user friendly and easy to use and the dates attached to each task make it much easier to tell shifts apart.
Cons
This is probably more user error than a problem with the software itself but a lot of people forget to use it or let tasks pile up even after they've already completed them which makes accountability harder. It would also be useful to add links or more detailed notes to to-dos when certain steps need a lot more explanation.

“Playful task tracking wins”
Pros
Using it is a lot like working through an interactive checklist which makes the interface very user friendly and simple to navigate. We're able to separate each client into different jobs, then organize everything further with tasks and sub tasks. It's also very convenient to assign tasks to multiple team members and attach timelines to keep work on schedule. One detail I really enjoy is the little animation that appears when a task is completed, like a phoenix or a yeti flying across the screen. It adds a fun touch and actually makes production meetings feel more enjoyable.
Cons
There have been a few occasional bugs along the way. Early on, we ran into a problem where sub tasks would get misplaced after marking the parent task as complete although that issue has been fixed since then. Even with that, it has still been much better overall than other tools our team has used.

“Project tracking lifesaver”
Pros
Keeping major projects organized has been so much more manageable with this product. It has been a real lifesaver and a huge time-saver for our team of students, staff and faculty, helping everyone stay coordinated and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. I feel much more at ease knowing it is keeping track of all our tasks and the different projects we are juggling.
Cons
One issue is that subtasks under a main task can be pretty easy to lose sight of or have hidden. I also wish there were a way to duplicate an entire list into a new one, rather than having to export it and then import it again.

“Stays visible from anywhere”
Pros
Handling account management, prospecting and supporting my team at the same time means I need a reliable way to keep tasks and projects prioritized while making sure everything stays visible and nothing gets missed. This helps me do exactly that and I can keep up with it all from anywhere.
Cons
At times my team has trouble seeing exactly what needs to be done but I believe that comes down more to how I have configured things than to the software itself. It feels more like user error on my end.

“Helpful for bills”
Pros
My wife and I rely on this to stay on top of bill due dates and upcoming appointments. Adding information is easy and it helps us organize everything clearly by labeling each event so it's easy to keep track of.
Cons
I do wish the integration with my phone's calendar especially Google Calendar, worked better. It would be much more useful if the events I add here showed up there automatically because right now it takes a few extra steps and doesn't feel very user friendly.

“Clear client planning”
Pros
Being able to map out project scopes for clients is my favorite part. It gives everyone a clear picture of the work ahead and I can communicate about specific details whenever needed.
Cons
The feature I like the least is the internal My Tasks section. Most of the organizing still has to be done manually on my end and it lacks the kind of categorization that would really improve my workflow.

“Team progress stays on track”
Pros
Asana helps us split larger projects into manageable tasks and milestones. We're able to assign work clearly and stay on top of our progress as a team without things falling through the cracks.
Cons
Getting started can feel a bit challenging. It has a fairly steep learning curve and the interface isn't always the most user friendly so it can seem a little overwhelming for new users at first.

Pros
The UI/UX is modern, the functionality is great and getting around the platform is pretty easy. Plus it makes managing projects a lot simpler and even enjoyable to use.

“Task visibility that keeps everyone aligned”
Pros
One of the best parts is being able to assign tasks to myself or teammates, receive tasks from others and mark them complete so the whole company can instantly see the progress.

“Flexible project views”
Pros
It was quick to set up and the interface seems clean and easy to use. Creating tasks is simple and it's easy to break them into subtasks or group them into projects. Adding new team members, including people outside the organization, is also hassle-free. I can drag and drop all kinds of documents directly into tasks which keeps everything in one place. It's helpful to view work in different formats too, whether that's kanban boards, timelines or checklists. The platform gives a strong big picture view of project progress and I also like that you can build multiple smaller projects under one larger initiative. On top of that it integrates with a wide range of tools like time trackers, email and Gantt chart software and they keep rolling out new features.
Cons
One downside is the limited technical documentation for the API which can make development work harder than it should be. The different integration tiers can also be a bit confusing and the Microsoft Teams plug-in tends to run slowly.

“My go-to for everything”
Pros
At this point Asana seems like my go-to tool for almost anything I need to organize. It's incredibly flexible and I use it for far more than just project management. It works just as well for tracking interview questions for candidates and mapping out onboarding steps for new employees. On top of that I also rely on it in my personal life to manage my blog and all the different steps that go into each post. it's hard to picture getting my work done without it.
Cons
The pricing is the part that holds me back. I use the paid version at work but at home I stick with the free plan because I cannot justify paying for a hobby. There are multiple pricing tiers and the first paid option doesn't really offer enough extra value compared with the free version. The plans that actually have the features I'd want for personal use are just too expensive for that purpose.

“Flexible templates for teams”
Pros
Using it has been really easy and the multitasking features work very well. Our team was able to have several users access and use multiple templates at the same time without issues.
