“Very clean interface”
Pros
It is clean and easy to use. Compared with other project management platforms, there's very little overhead when it comes to learning how everything works.
Cons
One thing that could be improved is the organizational structure. It feels a bit too generalized and it would be better if it offered more specialization for different domains.

“Very clean design”
Pros
Right away the clean layout made a big difference for me. It's pleasant to look at my tasks for the day or week without having to scroll endlessly or click around a lot just to open something. The project templates are also a huge help and save me plenty of time.
Cons
At this point I really don't have any complaints. I switched over from another tool and this one feels much better suited to what I want from this kind of software.

“Versatile options for every workflow”
Pros
Asana can be used in a lot of different ways which is something I really appreciate. It comes with plenty of options so you can adapt it to several kinds of workflows depending on what your team needs.
Cons
At times some features feel a bit hidden so we had to spend time exploring and figuring out the best way to use it for our needs. That said considering how many options it offers, that feels fairly understandable.

“Helpful beautiful”
Pros
It looks fantastic, is simple to set up and offers a lot of flexibility for customization.

The software itself is excellent. The biggest challenge was getting coworkers up to speed and managing the change which took the most time to work through.

“Very task tracking done right”
Pros
There's a lot of useful functionality packed into it. It gives a clear view of the work in front of you, including the timeline and all the important details. One feature I really appreciate is being able to assign tasks to team members and the email notifications help make sure nothing gets missed.
Cons
I cannot think of anything I dislike about this product. It works really well for our team and I'd definitely recommend it.

“Our event workflow powerhouse”
Pros
Running events means juggling countless moving parts every single day and this has really become the engine that keeps our company operating. We built a master event template that makes launching a new event incredibly fast and it also helps us keep refining our process as we go. Being able to invite clients into the platform without paying extra is a huge plus especially since we can control exactly what they're allowed to see. For people who aren't especially tech-savvy, the layout feels a lot like a simple checklist so it's very quick to pick up. We also love the little celebrations when tasks get completed so more of those would be fun. The mobile app is excellent and especially helpful for minute by minute task management. There's also plenty of flexibility with tags, file attachments, comments and similar tools. On top of that the daily reminders are fantastic.
Cons
Templates still need some improvement. When you add deadlines so a template can be copied over with dates, that template starts appearing on your own to-do list. If those items get checked off, they're gone from the template which is frustrating. Another limitation is that a task cannot be assigned to multiple people at once so something simple like a do your timesheet reminder has to be created separately for each staff member.

“Easy daily task manager”
Pros
Using it every day has been really easy because the interface is user friendly and simple to navigate. It helps me stay on top of my daily tasks and makes managing everything much more manageable.
Cons
If I had to point out one downside, it would be the number of email notifications. I tend to get quite a lot of them and at times it feels like too much.

“Powerful automation”
Pros
The feature set has been really strong for us. We especially enjoy tools like automation because they take a lot of manual work off our plate. The integrations are also very useful for the way we work and the interface has a beautiful design that makes the platform pleasant to use.
Cons
Pricing could definitely be better since it feels fairly expensive for the features included. Getting everything deployed was also challenging and took more effort than expected.

“Agile workflow lifesaver”
Pros
Keeping track of tasks is so much simpler with Asana. It's really clear who is working on what and which items I need to focus on next. For an Agile team, this tool feels absolutely essential. I honestly cannot imagine how companies manage their workflows without some kind of task management system in place. It's also fairly quick to learn and fits comfortably into the working style of pretty much any department.
Cons
One thing that feels both positive and frustrating is how often they roll out new features. On one hand, it's good to see the product constantly evolving but on the other some updates don't always feel like real improvements and can take time to adjust to. Still, that's part of how they keep iterating and making the software better over time.

“Helpful collaboration”
Pros
Everyone on the team can stay updated in real time through the collaboration features. Whenever tasks are completed or a problem comes up with a task, the system sends notifications right away. The integration options are also very helpful. I have personally connected it with Microsoft and Zoho software and that has been useful in day to day work. Compared with other tools, the design feels much more modern and visually appealing. The animation effects in particular make the workflow more engaging. Project management quality is strong overall because it lets you track and monitor everything in one place.
Cons
Email alerts can get a bit annoying at times because the platform sends notifications for nearly every comment, task and subtask. It would be better if future updates allowed the team to reduce email frequency based on the importance of each task. Another thing that would add a lot of value is a built-in bug tracking system. During work processes, teams sometimes need a proper way to track bugs so issues can be resolved faster without wasting time or affecting the quality of the work.

“Weekly planning that clicks”
Pros
Planning out the week it really easy and it's simple to break bigger tasks into smaller, achievable goals. It also integrates with plenty of other tools which makes day to day work much more convenient.
Cons
You still need to stay organized and manage the system properly. At the end of the day, it's only as useful as the information you put into it.

“Work tracking that keeps teams aligned”
Pros
Asana keeps the spotlight on work management and helps communication move quickly across the team. It's very useful for managing leads, tracking tasks and being able to see every task clearly on the calendar.
Cons
The biggest downside is the pricing model since it charges per user on a monthly basis. That can make it too expensive for larger companies even though it still works really well for small businesses.

Pros
Having separate folders for each project while still being able to view one combined to-do list for every task across all projects is incredibly useful.

“Custom fields”
Pros
Managing projects with Asana has been a really positive experience. The custom fields are incredibly helpful for keeping track of everything our team needs to see in one place. I am also really excited to start using Portfolios for monitoring workload and Goals for following our quarterly objectives. It feels like there's still a lot more value to unlock and I am looking forward to seeing what they add next.
Cons
One small annoyance is how the Close details button works on a subtask. Instead of taking you back to the parent task, it closes the entire right-side panel and sends you back to the project which can be a bit frustrating.

“Powerful workflows”
Pros
The combination of dependencies, workflows, portfolios, custom fields and approvals makes Asana really capable for managing projects and keeping everything organized.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see is an administrator role included even with the paid plan so company members can be managed properly and outdated projects or inactive employees can be removed more efficiently.

“Keeps every deadline on track”
Pros
Keeping our team aligned on deadlines has been a huge help. We can map out everything that needs to be done for each event and stay on schedule to get it all finished on time.
Cons

“Helpful task timelines”
Pros
Adding tasks, assigning them to people and setting due dates is very easy. I also really like being able to organize plans into sections and the timeline view is especially useful for seeing what's due and when at a glance.
Cons

Pros

“Fantastic project tracking view”
Pros
It is very easy to use especially for teammates who are not in it every day. Tracking projects is also really simple and the calendar view gives a helpful big-picture look at everything the team has going on.
Cons
One thing I don't love is the tiered setup of the software. It can make collaboration with other parts of the team a bit harder which was also mentioned by CS. I'd really like the option to assign a secondary owner to a task instead of only adding a collaborator because there are times when two people are effectively responsible for the same task and it still won't appear on the collaborator's calendar or task list. I also wish subtasks showed up in portfolios and didn't need to be added to a project just to track progress. We manage a lot of campaigns with tasks that contain many subtasks so it would be amazing if tasks could function more like projects in that way. The review feature is useful too but not being able to zoom in on images during review is a little frustrating.
