“Ideal for indie film crews”
Pros
As a production coordinator this honestly feels like the perfect tool for indie-level film production. It's been incredibly helpful for organizing and assigning tasks, tracking progress against benchmarks and sharing information across the crew.
Cons
there's very little not to like about this software. My only real wish is that it were adopted more widely across the industry.

“Task tracking that keeps moving”
Pros
Adding tasks is fast and assigning them to other people takes no time. I can attach notes and photos to each task and mark everything complete once it's finished which keeps work organized.
Cons
The follow-up side could be better especially for tasks with multiple steps. I'd also like clearer ways to label something as 'waiting for...' versus an action item I need to handle myself, along with better options for showing task progress.

“Excellent for complex project tracking”
Pros
This works really well for staying on top of multiple complex projects and keeping everything organized.
Cons
It can feel a little too involved for very simple projects or for people who aren't very comfortable using web-based systems.

“Client filtering works well”
Pros
Navigating between different clients is pretty easy. They're either visible right on the home screen or easy to pull up from the side menu. Since the team I use it for only manages a small number of clients, it doesn't feel hard to keep track of anything. That said I am not really sure how well this setup would hold up in a much larger company.
Cons
To be fair, I am only using the free version so I cannot fully speak to how the paid plan handles this. On the free version though, each client page feels cluttered and a bit disorganized. I'd really prefer the tasks to sort themselves automatically by due date instead of making me arrange everything manually.

“Fits right into daily life”
Pros
It slipped into my routine almost immediately which is what I appreciate most about it. Once I got everything set up, I really started relying on it and could stop mentally juggling tasks, deadlines and plans all the time, leaving more room in my head for everything else.
Cons
The only thing that bothers me is not being able to choose a default view for the main team page where all my active projects sit. Other than that, I really don't have much to complain about.

“Flexible views across teams”
Pros
This is incredibly flexible and adapts well to different workflows. Being able to look at the same project in multiple ways like list, calendar and board views and also share tasks across different teams with co-homing is something I really value.
Cons
There are only a few minor drawbacks and they seem to keep improving the platform to address them.

“Daily consistency is a plus”
Pros
Asana keeps our team on top of what needs to get done each day and helps us stay consistent with our workflow.
Cons
One thing we'd really like is more flexibility with recurring tasks that are supposed to fall on a specific date because when that date lands on a weekend, it gets moved to a weekday instead. We'd also love to have more color options since we manage so many different clients and projects.

“Helpful project notifications”
Pros
Keeping up with projects has been much easier for both me and my employee with this software. I don't have to go to him every single time I need to explain something about a project. I can just post the update or instructions here and he gets a notification right away.
Cons
It saves a lot of time overall. The software is also simple to understand and easy to use.

“Clear task planning wins”
Pros
Asana gives teams a clean but very effective way to organize assignments and tasks so work actually gets finished. The tools that connect assignments to goals are especially helpful because they clearly show how the team moves from point A to point B. It also lets you organize tasks by completion status which makes priorities more transparent and helps everyone see what should be finished first.
Cons
Things can get a bit confusing in the mobile app when you're managing multiple projects with different team members although the web version really changes the experience for the better.

“Clean desktop view but limited tools”
Pros
Its interface is very user friendly and I really appreciate its minimalist look. On the desktop version, everything is laid out clearly and is very easy to see.
Cons
It feels like some features are missing when it comes to fully completing each task. I also don't think it offers enough tools or resources to make the overall experience feel complete.

“Flexible project hub everywhere”
Pros
Keeping project materials in one place with links and related items is a huge plus. I really enjoy that I can use it both on my phone and on the web which makes it convenient no matter where I am. The option to choose background photos is also a nice touch. It feels very customizable and I can adjust it to match what I want. I also appreciate not being limited to a desktop or laptop since the mobile app works well too.
Cons
I was hoping it would include some kind of time-tracking feature. It's also disappointing that I cannot bill my client through the platform because that would make a lot of things much more convenient.

“Time-saving integrations”
Pros
One thing that really helps is how well it integrates with tools we were already using, like Dropbox, Google Drive and Gmail. That integration saves us a lot of time when working through projects.
Cons
The downside is that there still isn't a dedicated app for Mac OS or Windows which can be inconvenient for some users.

“Playful task tracking for marketing”
Pros
Keeping track of tasks and projects has been really helpful and its features fit marketing projects especially well. The UX and UI is user friendly and playful and I genuinely enjoy the unicorn animation that shows up when a task is completed.
Cons
Implementation was not difficult at all and went very smoothly. At this point I do not have any improvements to suggest.

“Versatile pm tool”
Pros
As a project management tool it is impressively flexible without losing focus. The UI and UX are very modern which makes the app genuinely enjoyable to use. Setting up projects, adding tasks, managing timelines, milestones and achievements and assigning work to team members is all very easy. I even enjoy the small touch of being able to like certain tasks. The free plan includes everything needed to manage personal projects and the mobile app is well designed and even comes with dark mode support.
Cons
Every now and then, the mobile app can be a bit slow when loading tasks or responding to actions. With a large number of projects and tasks, it's also possible to lose your place from time to time. The mobile app could be simplified further since having a separate search button feels unnecessary. I'd rather handle most things directly from the home screen. It also lacks a Gantt chart view even though list and board views are available.

“Helpful for staying organized”
Pros
The concept behind this software is really strong as it helps both individuals and teams stay organized, gives managers better visibility and supports record-keeping in a useful way.
Cons
At the same time the features seem confusing and not very user friendly. I still struggle to figure out how to do things that seem like they should be fairly obvious.

“All-in-one team coordination”
Pros
After trying Basecamp, Slack and RingCentral, we ended up settling on this one for company-wide communication and, above all, project management. It works as a reliable all in one remote office tool that helps keep everyone aligned organized and moving in the same direction.
Cons
The messaging features still aren't as advanced as what Slack or RingCentral offer but the project management side is stronger than both so that trade-off has been worth it for us.

“Very flexible task setup”
Pros
The tool is easy to use. It lets you set up sections, subtasks and projects quickly, then assign them with due dates without much effort. The free plan already includes a lot of useful functionality and one of the biggest advantages is being able to invite people from outside the company.
Cons
One downside is that the free plan is capped at 15 members so even if the included features are enough, it is not really practical for a larger company. The Android app could also use a bit more improvement.

“Sleek team organization”
Pros
It worked really well for the group I used it with. The interface is modern and professional and it's a great way to keep a team organized and on track.
Cons

“Flexible project task tracking”
Pros
Creating and assigning tasks is easy and it works really well for teams with multiple groups. I can organize everything by project, add detailed information and include attachments which makes collaboration much more manageable.
Cons
Every now and then, the site goes down and becomes inaccessible which is frustrating when you're trying to get work done. It doesn't happen too often though so I assume it may be related to system updates or upgrades.
