“Very flexible setup”
Pros
At first this software felt like a really good option. I invested quite a bit of time configuring it so it would align with our business processes and there was definitely a lot to appreciate early on. In the end though, we chose to switch to another platform that fit the way our business operates a bit better.
Cons
Over time, a few parts of the software became frustrating and made it harder to get end users fully on board. It's been a while since I last used it but my overall impression is that the longer we worked with it, the more confusing and impractical it felt to keep using. That may have had a lot to do with the fact that we were on the free version and had to build workarounds around the limited functionality that came with it.

“Workflow that keeps teams aligned”
Pros
Our team really enjoys the workflow in Asana. They roll out useful updates and new features on a regular basis which keeps improving how we collaborate across multiple countries.
Cons
Right now the free plan has limited features though it still gets our team where we need to be. I'd also love to see the option to add images within task mapping.

“Really task tracking that delivers”
Pros
Keeping up with tasks is simple with this tool and it helps make sure nothing slips through the cracks. It's very easy to use and has been a big help in keeping me organized.
Cons
I don't have any complaints. The free version doesn't include a ton of features but that hasn't been an issue since I only needed something to keep my tasks under control and it does exactly that.

“User friendly team alignment”
Pros
Across both big team projects and individual task tracking, this platform has been incredibly helpful for monitoring progress and measuring success. The feature set makes it much easier to keep deadlines on target, deal with roadblocks as they come up in real time and make sure everyone stays aligned. I have worked with other project management tools, including Teamwork and this has easily been the most user friendly option I have used so far. It's also especially useful for team members who stay focused with daily reminders which helps keep productivity high and work moving forward.
Cons
One frustrating issue I have run into has been how difficult customer support can be to reach. They may have staff with phone extensions but that contact information isn't readily available online. There is a chat option but the follow-up isn't always quick which becomes a real problem when you're working against a deadline. In our case, we had a billing issue and I wasn't able to connect with anyone about it for weeks. We only managed to reach a representative because I still had an old email from a previous conversation. Other than that, I really don't have complaints about the software's actual functionality. It's an excellent tool and one that would be valuable for just about any team.

“Powerful collaboration, confusing layout”
Pros
As a cloud based collaboration tool, this software is impressive. The browser integration works really well and having everything in the cloud is a huge plus. I also appreciated that every note and entry gets time-stamped which is especially helpful for freelancers tracking their hours, while employers can monitor progress in real time.
Cons
Getting around the system is not user friendly at all. It feels hard to learn and unnecessarily confusing and even now I still don't fully understand all the features because too many of them seem buried too deep. That left me frustrated and unsure when trying to show my team how to use what I did know. It would be much better if they added well-integrated video guides and interactive tutorials directly inside the platform.

“Flexible workflows”
Pros
Asana packs in a lot of features while still giving enough flexibility for both list-focused users and people who prefer a more visual way to manage work. It does a really good job of helping teams stay on track and actually get things done. The wide range of APIs makes it simple to connect with other platforms and in our case it works with Slack so well that they almost feel like a single system now. I personally rely on the Kanban-style tiles when building out projects and the drag-and-drop functionality there is incredibly useful. We've tested other tools like Trello and Airtable but we keep returning to Asana because it's dependable, user friendly and consistently works the way we need it to.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see improved is the Calendar. It would be much better if due dates could be adjusted directly there with a drag-and-drop option but that feature isn't available right now. I also don't think entering titles on the tiles is very user friendly and I often have to click several times before getting it set up correctly.

“Fantastic team alignment tool”
Pros
Using it has been a big win for me for several reasons. It's very user friendly and setting priorities and deadlines has never been this simple. Sharing information and assigning tasks is incredibly easy too. It's easily one of the best project management platforms I have worked with. The mobile app is excellent too and very convenient to use. It keeps the whole team aligned and on the same page without needing constant meetings or conference calls.
Cons
The only area where I feel it falls short is with the performance around completed requests. If that part were improved, this would be a nearly flawless tool to use.

“notifications are handy”
Pros
Getting started with it doesn't take much effort which I really appreciate. I also love having a mobile app available and the email and phone notifications help me stay on top of things.
Cons
At the same time it's pretty easy to lose your way in the platform. The different views don't feel very user friendly and things can become cluttered and disorganized pretty fast. It also doesn't offer kanban views.

“Visual workflow that clicks”
Pros
As someone who works best visually, the user friendly layout really makes everything easy to manage and assign. It has fit well into the projects I have used it for and makes delegation feel natural.
Cons
I haven't run into any real issues. Once my team got trained on how to use it, collaboration became much easier for everyone.

“Powerful team workflow tools”
Pros
It comes packed with features that help both individuals and teams achieve results through a well structured workflow. Being able to assign tasks quickly and without hassle is something I really appreciate.
Cons
At times the dashboard layout feels confusing and it can take a few weeks of regular use before the basic features start to make sense. It definitely could be more user friendly.

“Great helpful teamwork”
Pros
Being able to collaborate with coworkers and assign tasks in one place has been really useful. I also appreciate how simple it is to set and manage deadlines.
Cons
I do wish the free plan included more users. My organization doesn't really see enough value in paying for the upgraded version and it would help if they offered better pricing for non-profits.

“Reliable task tracking features”
Pros
Creating tasks and assigning them to team members works really well. It makes it simple to track progress and see when work has been completed. I also appreciate that each task can be tied to a specific project which helps keep everything organized. Another helpful feature is being able to add external guests as watchers when needed.
Cons
One downside is that once tasks are completed and closed, they can no longer be viewed so the status at that stage is lost. It also feels limited for larger projects where many people are handling multiple assignments at the same time.

“all in one team collaboration”
Pros
Asana works really well as a project management platform for keeping a team organized and staying on top of tasks. It's built to improve work management and support collaboration since teams can set up projects, assign tasks to different teammates, add deadlines and communicate with each other in one place. It feels like a complete package because it includes pretty much everything a team needs to work together and get tasks finished efficiently.
Cons
One problem I have noticed is with notifications since they are often delayed. It also feels like the mobile app is missing some features compared with the web version so the app experience could definitely be improved.

Pros
Asana helps us organize and keep track of all the tasks and goals across the company. With the wide range of tools it includes, everyone is able to stay aligned, keep up with their responsibilities and complete their tasks and goals on time.

“Flexible remote team coordination”
Pros
Managing a team with it has been really useful especially now that remote work is so common. It works well for project managers who need to collaborate with team members in different parts of the world. The free basic version supports up to 15 people which is a decent starting point and if your team is bigger or your project planning is more complex, the premium and business plans give you access to a broader set of task management features. The biggest advantage I have noticed is how flexible it is. It helps you stay on top of both day to day tasks and long-term projects At the same time which makes it much easier to coordinate teams and divide workloads across employees.
Cons
That said it is not ideal for graphic-heavy work. The visual layout also could be better if you prefer more of a notebook-style view for organizing information.

“Keeps our global team aligned”
Pros
Exactly as the title suggests, it handles everything we need and then some. We brought it in because our team is spread across different countries and time zones and it has made it much easier for everyone to keep up with what's happening. With a quick look, anyone can see the current status of a project right away. Before this, we depended on emails and messages which was naturally slower when part of the team was asleep on the other side of the world. It has really helped organize communication and coordination across our global offices.
Cons
We mainly use the standard features and they work really well but there are additional tools available as paid add-ons. It would be nice to have those included at no extra cost but unfortunately they aren't.

“Helpful collaboration, dated layout”
Pros
Delegating work and collaborating with teammates works really well in it. It's fairly easy to use Overall with an interface that is mostly clear and the task comment section is especially useful for keeping discussions in one place.
Cons
One downside is the lack of a desktop app for Mac or PC. Having to open the platform in a browser every time interrupts the workflow and without a desktop app, notifications are easier to miss. The interface can also be a little hard to navigate when trying to figure out which tasks are still outstanding. With so many buckets and teams, it would be much better to have a single organized view where everything appears together and can be prioritized. I have also noticed the interface hasn't really been updated in years so it feels like it could use a refresh.

“Task management is decent”
Pros
Adding new tasks to a project is easy and keeping track of everything is just as manageable. It also supports a wide range of integration platforms which makes it more useful across different tools.
Cons
It still doesn't really work well for agile Scrum development. It needs more improvements before it can fully function as a complete project management tool.

“Very flexible workflows”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages is how well the platform can be tailored to fit our business needs. The interface and overall user experience are simple and really well designed.
Cons
The downside is that the premium features are quite expensive. It would be better if the pricing were more budget-friendly especially for startups.
