“Fantastic for tasks”
Pros
Every day, I rely on it to organize my daily, weekly and monthly to-do lists. I also use it to stay in touch with my team and it has been the perfect solution for both task management and communication.
Cons
I honestly haven't noticed any downsides. I haven't run into any problems and learning how to use the tool was simple so I don't have any cons to point out.

“Versatile collaboration across platforms”
Pros
Asana works as a cloud based project and task management tool across Web, Mac, iOS and Android which makes it convenient to use from pretty much anywhere. It helps companies and ad agencies organize both tasks and larger projects effectively. The platform comes with a wide range of features and covers different organizational and communication needs really well. I also like that conversations and document links can stay attached to a specific project which keeps everything in one place. It makes collaboration faster and more efficient for teams working together.
Cons
The free plan feels quite restrictive since it only gives access to list, board and calendar views and you can only add a limited number of team members to a project. If you need to work with a bigger team, there's really no way around upgrading to a premium plan. That said it can still be enough for smaller non-premium teams with only a few members since they can still join and get their work done. Features like timeline, advanced search and workflow rules are also locked behind the premium version.

“Team timelines that keep everything aligned”
Pros
It works really well for keeping projects organized, whether you're handling them on your own or collaborating with a team. You can assign tasks, build out timelines and keep track of progress without things getting lost. Our team uses it across several departments to manage individual marketing projects while also feeding into a larger shared marketing calendar. It gives a strong high-level view of what's coming up and what's being released, while still letting you drill into specific projects and see exactly what stage they're in.
Cons
There is a bit of a learning curve At the beginning but the tutorials available make it pretty quick to understand and start using the platform effectively. Setting up templates also takes some upfront time especially if you want them to match recurring project workflows and the same team responsibilities. Once those templates are built though, they become a huge time-saver for future projects and help keep the team very organized over the long term.

“good for distributed onboarding”
Pros
Asana works really well for managing projects that involve multiple teams across different locations. We use it with customers during the onboarding process for our software and they consistently have positive things to say about the platform.
Cons
One downside is that the reporting is pretty weak and there is not really a practical way to pull useful, actionable data across different projects. On top of that when you reach out to understand what reporting options are available, their team tends to ignore those requests and offers little to no help.

“Helpful timeline, poor support”
Pros
The Premium timeline view has been really useful for planning work and clearly seeing the dependencies between tasks.
Cons
It's been 11 days and we still haven't heard anything from Customer Support. They've been entirely unresponsive and it has created major difficulties for our organization.

“feature packed tool”
Pros
It strikes a really nice balance between having plenty of features and still feeling simple to use. Creating a task takes just one button and the task details are simple and easy to follow.
Cons
I don't have any complaints about it. It does exactly what I need it to do and I haven't run into any problems.

“Perfect clean design”
Pros
Right away the clean interface is one of the best parts of using it. It feels much more modern and the color coded features help a lot when it comes to spotting different parts of a project quickly. Having it available as a mobile app is also a big plus.
Cons
One thing it's missing is time tracking. A lot of professional teams need that feature to measure work against deadlines and evaluate timelines properly.

“Team stays organized anywhere”
Pros
Being able to assign tasks to employees at any time has been a huge plus. No one needs to come into the office just to see what they're supposed to work on that day. Even when I am unavailable, I can still keep the whole team organized and moving in the right direction. I have also used it at home to help my family plan things out and manage their time better.
Cons
It does depend on people checking their assigned tasks regularly instead of ignoring them. If someone isn't used to working from a task list or using a task manager, there can be a bit of an adjustment period.

“Project tracking across teams”
Pros
Our product team uses this platform from India and it helps the US teams stay on top of all projects without losing visibility.
Cons
Getting ticket details takes quite a bit of clicking and it would be much better to have a dashboard that shows progress in one place.

“Helpful project organization”
Pros
Asana is a very user friendly tool for keeping projects organized, whether you're managing everything yourself or collaborating with a team. I have also used it to share schedules and task checklists with customers which has been really useful.
Cons
A handful of features were a little confusing to me At first and I had some trouble figuring out how to use them. That said it felt more like a learning curve on my side than a problem with the software itself.

“Basic but too limited”
Pros
It is pretty easy to use. If new tools and extra features tend to feel overwhelming, this works well as a beginner friendly option.
Cons
At the same time there is not a lot of room to grow with it. The platform stays simple but that also makes it feel limited and I did not see much advantage in using it instead of something like Outlook calendar and tasks.

Pros
Asana has been a really good fit for managing tasks and keeping project workflows organized. It's simple to use and I can easily look back at historical work that's been completed as well as track individual contributor projects.

“Flexible task assignment”
Pros
Assigning tasks to team members is very easy and it's quick to add time estimates, details, files and tags without slowing anything down.
Cons
My biggest frustration is the pricing for non-profits. I'd really like our whole organization to be on it but right now we can only afford access for two departments. It would also help a lot to have some kind of read-only view so people without paid seats could still check calendars and task lists.

“Great task tracking that delivers”
Pros
Keeping projects organized in it is really easy. I can assign tasks to myself or other team members, stay on top of deadlines and budgets and the option to work with multiple boards is especially useful.
Cons
The interface isn't instantly user friendly and takes a little time to learn. With more features being added over time, it has also become somewhat more difficult to navigate.

“Fast and flexible tool”
Pros
It felt impressively fast for a SaaS product. Customizing it is very easy, the pricing is quite reasonable and it really helps our teams stay connected and communicate better.
Cons
One thing that would make it even better is tighter integration with our CRM. Its built-in CRM capabilities also fall short compared with some dedicated CRM tools on the market.

“Very clean layout”
Pros
The interface and overall layout of this platform became my favorite part. It is very simple while still offering plenty of features. I have especially liked how simple it is to train new team members on it and keep our business organized at the same time.
Cons
One thing I'd really like to see is the option to assign a task to two people at once. I know multiple people can collaborate on a task but it still seems to be mainly assigned to just one person. With the way our business operates, there are times when two employees both need to complete the task and have the ability to mark it as done.

Pros
I find it easy to use and the setup didn't take much effort at all. The free trial also gave our team plenty of time to configure everything properly and get comfortable with how the product works before deciding to buy it.
Cons
I'd still like to see integrations with QuickBooks Online, along with better options for separating customer projects and more useful timeline graphs.

“Handy task tracking”
Pros
Using this software makes it simple to manage a to-do list, assign tasks to other people and leave comments in one place. It really helps create a more organized and comfortable work environment.
Cons
One thing I wish it handled better is organizing items by due date instead of only by task type. Not having that option can be pretty frustrating.
