“buried task details”
Pros
Using it is pretty user friendly because the drag-and-drop setup makes it simple to work with. Shifting items from one status to another is also very easy.
Cons
The downside is that task information is tucked too far inside each item and once the discussions on a task get lengthy, they become hard to keep track of.

“Visual project tracking win”
Pros
Setting up projects with distinct stages works really well and assigning tasks to specific team members is easy. Being able to see the visual progress of a project also makes it much easier to keep track of where everything stands.
Cons
The free version is useful but if you want access to the more advanced features, you'll need to move up to a paid plan.

“Clear project tracking”
Pros
The interface made everything very easy to follow so it was simple to see which projects needed attention and when they had to be completed. Setting up projects, tasks and even subtasks was quick and being able to add notes to each project was really helpful too.
Cons
I ran into two limitations. Template projects aren't available on the free plan and duplicated projects or templates cannot automatically assign project deadlines. Since our projects usually run on a 30-45 day timeline, it would be really helpful to build a project from a set template and have each task due date automatically fill in a certain number of days or weeks ahead. Updating every due date manually across tasks and subtasks can become a real hassle especially on larger projects like website builds.

“Powerful daily task hub”
Pros
Using Asana every day really pays off because it works very well once it becomes part of your routine. It offers a lot of useful functionality and handles day to day task management effectively.
Cons
The cost can climb quite a bit as you add more users and getting comfortable with it in the beginning can be a little challenging.

“task tracking that delivers”
Pros
With a lot of work tasks to manage, this software really helps me stay organized. I can sort my tasks clearly which makes it much simpler to figure out what needs my attention first. Assigning tasks to my team members is also very convenient and fits well into my workflow.
Cons
Nothing comes to mind right now. I have used different kinds of software before and this one has easily become my favorite.

“Bulk uploads are useful”
Pros
Being able to bulk upload checklists is a big plus. I also appreciate how you can separate your team with private projects and multiple team settings. When the platform isn't glitching, the interface is actually quite nice to work with.
Cons
Quite a few features feel missing or broken. There's no timeline view for My Tasks which is really frustrating. Sections also cannot be archived or marked complete anymore and have to be deleted instead and that change made the system noticeably harder to use. On top of that they don't seem to pay attention to user feedback and the pricing feels borderline extortionate. Having to buy seats in bundles of five makes very little sense for a startup team.

“Stays on top of tasks”
Pros
It's been a really reliable way to keep up with day to day tasks. It helps you prioritize your work consistently and keeps everything organized in a professional way.
Cons
It feels geared mostly toward office environments. There also isn't much room to tailor it to a specific team so the features are pretty standard across the board.

“Task stages are helpful”
Pros
Managing tasks in stages is very easy. I can assign a date and time to each task and the notifications help me stay on top of everything when deadlines are coming up. Adding subtasks is simple too which makes it easier to break bigger work into smaller steps.
Cons
It would still be better if there were a way to link related tasks together. I'd also like to see more task reporting options, such as monthly reports or a view for all delayed tasks.

“Feature packed team coordination”
Pros
Compared with a Trello-style board, this gives you that same visual task management approach while adding more depth and functionality which makes it a stronger investment for both teams and individual contributors. It lets you organize work across customizable groups while also tracking and prioritizing tasks for specific people and teams. On top of that the interface makes it simple to hold onto project-related conversations in one place and the real time alerts for new comments help everyone stay updated. It has made collaboration with my team and other business units much more manageable.
Cons
There are still a few limitations that can turn discussions inside a project card into long, cluttered threads. Since text cannot be hyperlinked, you have to paste the entire URL and that starts to look messy fast when you're adding 5 to 10 links to outside pages, docs or other resources. We also cannot use richer formatting options like tables so instead of building that content directly in the thread, we have to create it in a Google Doc and drop the link in. They're minor annoyances but still inconvenient.

“Very organized teams”
Pros
Keeping everything organized is where this really shines. You can set up a Team for yourself and your coworkers, then create as many projects under it as you need. Every project can have its own task list and each task can include subtasks so there's a ton of flexibility in how you structure your work. It also integrates with your Gmail calendar, sends daily reminder emails with what's coming due and lets you assign tasks, attach URLs, add image links and more.
Cons
A few of the more advanced tools are locked behind the Premium plan but even the free version works extremely well.

“powerful for project coordination”
Pros
Having Asana on both desktop and mobile has been a big help and the platform offers all the functionality I need without being hard to navigate. It has made project management much more manageable for both me and some of my clients because we can quickly share messages and files, set deadlines, assign tasks to specific users, create related subtasks within projects and keep everything moving efficiently.
Cons
Every now and then, a bug comes up where I do not get all the notifications for new tasks or messages. Customer support usually resolves it but the issue can sometimes return later.

“Clean task views”
Pros
The interface is really well designed and easy to work with. It offers multiple task views and I can keep track of all the assignments given to me without much effort.
Cons
One limitation is that I cannot choose a project view based on my own preference. The view stays the same for the entire team so if I prefer list view and someone else wants board view, there's no way for both of us to use what we like.

“Team files anywhere”
Pros
Being able to share team information and access files from one place was really useful. The mobile app was a big plus too since I could get to my information from practically anywhere.
Cons
We worked with the Basic plan and it covered everything our team needed to get done. The paid tiers do include additional features and those are clearly laid out on the website.

“Powerful project tracking toolkit”
Pros
Asana gives us a really flexible way to manage projects and it has the features and integrations needed to keep my team's work moving in the right direction. The mobile app is excellent and the Google and Slack integrations are especially useful.
Cons
There are multiple pricing tiers to sort through. The notifications can get annoying and take some effort to configure properly. Calendar integration only works one way and setting reminders for a specific time doesn't work.

“Very remote teamwork that clicks”
Pros
Working with remote teammates feels really natural in Asana especially when it comes to coordinating tasks and keeping workflows aligned. It does a lot to keep everything organized which is a huge plus.
Cons
Every now and then, I run into some frustrating oversights. One that stands out is the lack of a simple way to move subtasks from one task to another since they have to be transferred individually.

“Fun task planning touches”
Pros
Being able to attach files to notes is really useful and every time I complete a task, the little animation that flies across the screen is such a fun touch.
Cons
It doesn't quite cover everything my full team needs especially for social media scheduling but I still really enjoy using it to plan our weekly newsletter.

“Task sharing that clicks”
Pros
Using it is very easy and sharing tasks with coworkers is simple. I also really like being able to update the status as work progresses through each stage.
Cons
One downside is how persistent the notifications are in my work email and because of company policy, there's no option to delete them or unsubscribe which is understandable but still frustrating.

“Project tracking that keeps everyone aligned”
Pros
One thing this does really well is keep my boss informed on the status of all my projects. It's been a very useful tool for tracking progress and staying on top of project completion dates.
Cons
At the same time the software really depends on how well the user knows how to work with it. It would be even better if it included a built-in tutorial to help people learn how to use it properly.

“Very clear teamwork”
Pros
Getting started with it felt very natural. My team and I could see right away how much it would improve communication and help us keep track of projects in a more organized and effective way.
Cons
The biggest downside was the price. It felt expensive so we only stuck with the free trial for now. Even so, it seems worth paying for and we'll probably end up buying it.
