“Feature packed task hub”
Pros
Keeping tasks and projects together in one place is where this tool really delivers. It comes with a wide range of integrations, works reliably on mobile and offers a decent level of customization. There are also plenty of features built in so it can handle a lot without needing extra tools.
Cons
The app itself feels a little dated from a design standpoint. The workflow for setting up tasks and marking to-dos complete also feels somewhat awkward compared with other tools I have used. A few coworkers have said they switched to other platforms for the same reason, mainly because this one doesn't feel especially user friendly.

“Team updates without inbox clutter”
Pros
Working with a team felt much better with Asana. The feature I appreciated most was being able to create project status updates without filling up everyone's email inbox. It also did a really nice job of keeping documents organized which I absolutely valued.
Cons
It doesn't seem like the best fit for a solo entrepreneur and it can take some time to figure out how all of the features work. It also works best when you use it every day because otherwise it's hard to build the habit and keep using it as your system.

“Useful project organization”
Pros
Being able to create projects organize them into categories and assign them to different team members is probably the part I value most.
Cons
The downside is that tracking the time spent on each task isn't built in so you have to connect it with HourStack instead of doing it directly in the platform.

“Missing basics”
Pros
The platform is easy to use but the functionality is very limited.
Cons
A lot of basic features are missing and the customer service is awful. The support team came across as young and inexperienced and it took them five days to fix the trial even though it's supposed to work online.

“good tool”
Pros
After trying two other tools for team communication, this one has worked out best for us for a couple of key reasons. It's very user friendly and it gives us a lot of flexibility when we need to adjust things or add new tasks. The Google Calendar sync is also a big plus. There are honestly more features than we'll probably ever need but everything is organized so well that it never feels cluttered or overwhelming.
Cons
One thing I do wish it had is a built-in chat feature. You can still leave questions and comments in the task's detail section which helps but it's not quite the same. I'd also love to see an alert system that notifies us whenever any task has been updated or when new questions or comments are added.

“Fantastic for team task planning”
Pros
Creating projects and timelines in it is really easy and it makes assigning specific responsibilities to different team members simple. It also helps that people can mark their work as completed once they finish which keeps everything clear and organized.
Cons
One thing I'd like to see improved is the ability to assign a single task to multiple people instead of just one. That would make things much more practical whenever a task is shared by more than one person.

“Marketing lifesaver for busy teams”
Pros
Back in a previous role I was part of an extremely busy marketing team where hardly anyone had visibility into what others were working on before this tool came in. I became one of its biggest advocates and picked it up quickly. At one point I was managing around 75 to 100 events over four months and every single one needed marketing materials, separate dates and specific details tracked. I genuinely could not have handled that workload without it. Before using it, there really wasn't any reliable way to keep track of everything and our team was constantly buried in email. It honestly saved my sanity at work.
Cons
The toughest part wasn't the platform itself but working with teammates who just didn't buy into using it. Since I relied on it heavily and they didn't, everyone ended up using the tool in different ways which made collaboration harder than it needed to be. It really feels like the whole team has to be fully committed for it to work as well as it should.

“Really flexible workflows”
Pros
The way this software is organized is one of its biggest strengths. It can be used in so many different ways that it really feels adaptable to almost any organization and its particular needs. There are also tons of options for automation and customization which makes it even more versatile.
Cons
At times it almost feels like it can do too much. Keeping up with everything can turn into a real time drain and the number of options can be overwhelming. When we first started using it, figuring out the best way to manage our projects was a challenge. Nearly two years later we've built a much better system but getting through that transition took some work.

“Confusing despite a clean layout”
Pros
Setting up the platform and creating teams was easy for me. The interface also looked nice and was clear to read. Aside from that though there wasn't much else about it that I liked.
Cons
Using it felt like dealing with one of the least user friendly tools I have come across. I probably missed a lot of the features it offers because I simply couldn't figure out how to use them. That's not normal for me since I can usually get most software to work but this one just didn't click at all.

“Clear project view”
Pros
One thing I really like is how well it lays out a project, letting you see both what's already been completed and what still needs attention all on the same screen. A lot of tools tuck finished tasks away but here everything stays visible which I find really helpful. Setting up task assignments, adding due dates and leaving comments on tasks is very easy. I also enjoy having multiple ways to look at milestones, whether that's in list view, calendar view or other formats.
Cons
A few customers did seem to have a harder time getting started at first. I am not completely sure whether that was because of the platform itself or just because they were adjusting to a new system. Usually, after a quick five-minute phone call to walk them through it, they understood it and were comfortable using it. Some clients ended up switching over and using it as their main tool.

“Reliable hub for teamwork”
Pros
Asana keeps our team aligned and acts as the single source of truth for everything we're working on. It's also very simple to use which makes staying organized much easier.
Cons
One thing I'd like to see is a more capable free version. The platform works well as it is but a lot more functionality is locked behind the premium plan.

“Customizable task tracking powerhouse”
Pros
It is highly customizable and flexible when it came to integrations and day to day use. I rely on it every single day and it's become a tool I genuinely enjoy working in. It makes tracking projects and tasks very easy and everything is laid out in a way that's easy to view inside the platform. It also includes several really useful features that help boost productivity and give better visibility into my workload.
Cons
there isn't much that stands out as a downside for me. It's a really good platform overall. If I had to point to anything, it would probably be the pricing but considering the value I get from using it, the cost feels justified.

“Very helpful timelines”
Pros
Right away the platform felt approachable and the mobile app works really well too. It does an excellent job of staying user friendly no matter who on our team is using it. I also enjoy the visual layout of the lists and especially the timeline tools. Being able to see deadlines visually makes it much easier for everyone to understand priorities and stay on track. The commenting feature has also been really useful since team members can share status updates directly within the project.
Cons
At times tasks don't allow for every detail or feature I'd want to include in them. That said once we moved to the paid version, a lot more functionality became available.

“Easy teamwork that delivers”
Pros
Using this has been a really positive experience because it is user friendly and works very well for collaboration. Plus it helps me stay on top of my tasks much better than writing everything down and it's especially useful that my boss can send me messages and assign tasks through the system.
Cons
I do not have anything negative to say about the software. There are other tools out there that are similar but this is the one I prefer.

“Task tracking keeps teams aligned”
Pros
Assigning tasks to teammates and being able to follow their progress has been incredibly helpful. It makes day to day office work much more manageable and cuts down on constant back-and-forth questions especially when everyone is working remotely.
Cons
Using the app on my iPhone has been a challenge. The interface doesn't feel very user friendly and the overall usability of the mobile version seems a bit awkward.

“Team visibility that boosts alignment”
Pros
Sharing project deliverables with the whole team makes it much more efficient to stay aligned. Everyone can keep track of the progress on each deliverable which really helps with coordination and calibration.
Cons
A few features are less user friendly than similar tools so there's a bit of training needed before people can use everything comfortably.

“Powerful customization for tracking”
Pros
It really stands out for how customizable it is. There's a wide variety of field types so you can set up and organize data in a way that actually fits your workflow. It seems much more powerful and capable than relying on spreadsheets.
Cons
One disappointing part is the lack of export to spreadsheets. I get that a lot of platforms want to keep users working inside their system but there are times when that kind of feature is genuinely necessary.

“All projects in one place”
Pros
Having one place to keep every task, project and campaign makes a huge difference especially when you can assign each item to the right team member. It's really useful that all the conversations tied to a specific project stay together in the same spot so going back to check feedback, updates and changes is simple. I also appreciate how detailed the platform can get since you can break work down as much as needed with subtasks inside subtasks.
Cons
My biggest frustration is that once a task is marked complete, it becomes very hard to locate again when I need to reference it later. Another annoying issue happens with private projects such as I'll get a notification saying I have been assigned a task but then I cannot actually view it because the project is hidden.

“Fantastic planning for freelancers”
Pros
As a freelancer the live Gantt charts and task planning tools have been incredibly valuable. Sharing project plans with a small team is simple and it makes it really convenient to keep clients updated on my progress and overall work plan.
Cons
Pricing could become a real issue if my team ever grows past 3 users since it would start to feel too expensive. That said the feature set is beginning to go beyond what Microsoft Project offers so the subscription may still end up being worth paying for as those capabilities continue to expand.

“Really flexible boards”
Pros
One thing that really works well for me is how boards are organized within each individual project. It makes it simple to manage tasks based on status, owner, module, epic and other categories. You can structure and split up tasks however it makes the most sense for your workflow.
Cons
I do not have any real complaints because the features offered are good overall. If I had to point out one thing, I would just like a bit more freedom to rearrange the order of tasks in the calendar.
