“Clean views wins”
Pros
The interface feels clean and well put together, with plenty of options for setting up projects the way you need. The different views are really useful when you want a clear picture of what's happening and a single template doesn't cover everything. The roadmap feature works very well and is simple to tweak and the labeling and prioritization tools are excellent for team collaboration.
Cons
I have only used it for personal, small and medium-sized projects so I cannot really say how well it performs for large-scale work. I could see it becoming a little crowded in that kind of setup so keeping things organized and structured would be important to avoid everything getting mixed together.

“Team collaboration that keeps projects organized”
Pros
Working in this software makes it simple to collaborate with my team, track how a project is progressing and stay on top of daily tasks in a clear and organized way.
Cons
Getting the system set up to match our project workflow was a bit challenging At first but we created task structures and project categories that now work efficiently for us.

“Faster teamwork”
Pros
When our organization started getting bogged down by constant cross-department meetings, this gave us a fast and effective way to get things under control. We began relying on its management tools instead and having shared to-do lists in one centralized place kept everyone aligned. Tasks were finished more quickly, duplicate work dropped off and people could handle their responsibilities more independently. That saved us a lot of time and helped the project come together much faster.
Cons
Every now and then it gets a bit glitchy for example, I have checked tasks off and later seen them show up again. It hasn't been a major problem though. The dashboard could also be simpler since a cleaner layout would make navigation faster. On top of that the customization options could be easier to locate.

“Really organized teamwork”
Pros
Keeping our projects organized has been a huge help for the team. We collaborate on most of our work so we need a tool that makes everything flow without friction and this one really does. I also appreciate the clean, user friendly backend experience. The Slack integration is another big plus.
Cons
The only downside is the pricing. For a small business like ours, it feels a little expensive.

“Excellent fit for remote teams”
Pros
It has been a really amazing tool for collaborating with a distributed team. The integration with MS Outlook email is especially useful and the interface is user friendly overall. Also it integrates well with other tools which makes it even more practical for day to day work.
Cons
The support side could definitely be better and configuration and administration are not handled that well. If your team is already settled into other tools, switching may not feel worth it because there is still a bit of a learning curve.

“Simple team-based project visibility”
Pros
Using it has been very easy and it allows us to set up teams so people only see the projects that matter to the teams they're assigned to.
Cons
We haven't run into any issues with it so far. It handles everything we need it to do.

“Lead tracking that delivers”
Pros
Using this software to handle leads imported from Facebook worked out really well and it did exactly what I needed it to do.
Cons
A downside was that the trial version left out quite a few options even fewer than another product I evaluated.

“Pointless for our team”
Pros
There really weren't any benefits in this program for me or my team.
Cons
From the start, it just felt like one more thing wasting my time such as writing down to-do lists, chatting with different groups and adding extra steps to the day. It might suit bigger teams better but for us it felt completely pointless.

“Versatile hub for every project”
Pros
From simple to-do lists to large team initiatives, Asana covers a wide range of organization and communication needs for us. We use it at our church for basic task tracking, follow-ups after meetings and both small and large group projects. It also works really well for keeping long-term groups separate which makes it easier to build projects within each one. Another feature I really appreciate is being able to keep ongoing conversations and document links attached to specific tasks or project teams. I even keep a separate area under my account for personal family tasks and projects so having all those layers of organization is incredibly useful.
Cons
It has definitely become more user friendly over time and the developers have made it much simpler. That said when we first started using it, it took more effort to learn than a couple of the other project management tools we tested.

“Helpful calendar”
Pros
One thing that really stands out is how many sub-projects you can build within a team which I think is incredibly useful. Being able to see everything in a calendar also helps a lot with organizing workflows and keeping due dates on track. On top of that each project includes a timeline view and that's a feature I really appreciate since a lot of other tools don't offer it.
Cons
At first there's definitely a lot to take in when you start using it and that can feel a bit intimidating. A lot of teams want to get started right away without having to spend too much time training everyone on a new platform especially since that can eat into valuable time and feel counterproductive. That said once you put in a little time and effort to learn it, the software becomes extremely useful.

“Compact controls”
Pros
Everything about the interface feels carefully planned. It's impressive how the developers fit so many controls into such a compact panel without making it feel chaotic. Another big plus is the Slack integration which lets us stay connected without constantly jumping back and forth between the platform and the messenger.
Cons
It seems to be built more with larger companies in mind. Features like Gantt charts are usually meant for managing complex projects with a lot of contributors and that's not really how we work. For our team, much of the functionality ends up feeling unnecessary.

“Perfect task tracking that delivers”
Pros
It has been a great way to stay on top of tasks that need to get done. It works well for teams too since you can add multiple people and assign work however it makes the most sense.
Cons
Overall it's been good to use though a few parts feel a bit confusing to navigate at first. Once you get familiar with where everything is, it becomes fairly easy.

“Reliable project tracking for teams”
Pros
Asana has been a fantastic way to coordinate both small and large teams across multiple projects, different project phases and all the subtasks needed to get specific work completed.
Cons
The pricing jumps quite a bit on the higher-tier plans and it feels steep when the main added benefit is mostly just being able to include bigger teams.

“Clear task accountability”
Pros
It really helps keep everyone accountable for their tasks like if something isn't logged there, it basically didn't happen. It makes ownership very clear and keeps work from slipping through the cracks.
Cons
One thing that's missing is better visibility into what my team is actively working on. The board feels set up more around to-do and done, without much of an in-progress view. Built-in time tracking or time management would also be a valuable addition especially if it didn't rely on Harvest.

“Daily planning that keeps projects on track”
Pros
Working in communications and marketing, I collaborate closely with the IT team on shared projects and this tool helps a lot with organizing that work. The part I appreciate most is the time management aspect. I use it to build out my daily plan so deadlines do not get missed. It lets me describe each task in detail, break the work into separate stages and assign clear due dates for every step.
Cons
One thing that feels missing is fast team communication. I still have to rely on email because there is no built-in chat and no option to sync with any messenger. That really should be added since email is not a quick way to communicate when the team needs to respond right away.

“Real-time teamwork boost”
Pros
real time updates and notifications keep everyone aligned when managing projects with a large team so things stay on track without needing to micromanage people.
Cons
One downside is that the project formats are fairly fixed and if a project grows beyond what was originally expected, switching to a more manageable structure is not really an option.

“Helpful task ownership alerts”
Pros
Being able to assign clear ownership to tasks and receive email reminders when deadlines are coming up has been really useful. It helps keep everything organized and makes it much easier to stay on top of work.
Cons
The platform does not feel particularly built for one on one meetings and that shows at times in the somewhat complicated interface. I'd really like to have more customization options for that purpose.
