“Good for productive teamwork”
Pros
Keeping everyone aligned is easy with this platform. It makes team communication easier, lets you create and assign tasks and sub-tasks without hassle, boosts productivity and has a clean, simple interface that's pleasant to work in.
Cons
It would be even better if group chat were included as a built-in feature instead of being treated as an add-on. Also, sub-tasks are not quite as visible or convenient to view as main tasks even though they still work well enough.

“All in one tool”
Pros
When there are a million things to keep track of, having everything in one place is incredibly helpful compared with relying on scattered Post-it notes. It also works really well for setting up team projects and keeping everyone organized.
Cons
At times it can feel a bit overwhelming and intense because there's so much happening on the screen at once. It definitely helps to spend some time testing it out and getting a bit of training before fully diving in.

“helpful tags for clear workflows”
Pros
The tags have been especially useful for locating items quickly and keeping every step organized so things happen at the right time with very little confusion.
Cons
Right now the UI is my only complaint as the latest update removed the dividing lines between sections which makes everything a bit harder to read.

“Allows remote teams to stay aligned”
Pros
Keeping everyone on the same page is exactly where this tool delivers. For a remote organization, it feels essential because it helps us see whether projects are progressing on schedule and whether the team is on track to meet deadlines. Without it, we'd have a much harder time knowing if work was moving forward the way it should.
Cons
There really isn't much to complain about. It's simple, clear and easy to use overall. If anything could be improved, creating subtasks could be a bit more user friendly.

“versatile project management standout”
Pros
One thing that really makes this product valuable is its graphical user interface. It gives me plenty of options and makes handling complex tasks much simpler. Because of that it works really well for project management, whether I'm working with a team or managing things on my own.
Cons
With all the strong features it offers I can't point to anything frustrating about the application. I haven't come across even a minor issue with it.

“reliable workflow for real estate”
Pros
Asana has really simplified the complex workflows we deal with in the real estate industry. It helps me deliver a consistent experience every time thanks to a dependable IT workflow.
Cons
Getting started can feel pretty overwhelming at first. There are a lot of resources and features to sort through so it takes some time to get fully comfortable with it.

“Ideal for task tracking”
Pros
Setting things up is pretty easy and it works well for creating separate teams and breaking work down with subtasks. The built-in communication is also really helpful since you can leave comments and chat right inside the tasks.
Cons
One thing to watch out for is how simple it is to accidentally mark something as completed and lose track of it. The good part is that the task can still be found later so it's not gone for good.

“versatile project views shine”
Pros
Being able to set up projects, share them with collaborators and still keep everything well organized feels like a dream. The different project views make things much simpler too since we often need to switch between timeline and dependency views, while at other times it's really useful to see tasks laid out in a card-style format.
Cons
This isn't really a major complaint but not having an offline option or a locally installed app makes it harder to use while traveling. It would be even better if there were a native app for Mac and PC.

“useful project organization”
Pros
The overall idea behind the software works well. Being able to organize tasks by project is really helpful and sharing projects with other users is also a feature I appreciated.
Cons
That said even though sharing with other users is useful, that part also felt a bit complicated and somewhat confusing to figure out.

“keeps projects organized well”
Pros
Overall it works really well. It doesn't take long to get the hang of it and the tracking features do a good job of keeping projects organized and moving forward especially when several people are collaborating on one project or juggling multiple projects at once.
Cons
The downside is that there's only a limited number of users you can have before you need to start paying for a monthly or yearly subscription.

“constant install errors”
Pros
As a project manager I went into it expecting a lot because it seems packed with useful features. I was genuinely looking forward to trying it but unfortunately I never got it up and running.
Cons
Right after downloading it to my PC the installation kept failing with repeated errors. I contacted support, followed their advice to delete everything and download it again but the exact same problem kept happening. It seems like it may be clashing with another app on my computer but neither the helpdesk nor I could figure out what was causing it.

“team visibility and task clarity”
Pros
One thing I like most about it is how simple it is to customize task lists for different people across the team. That makes staying organized much easier, keeps everyone focused on the work they need to handle and leaves very little chance for confusion or missed items. I also really value the way it tracks accomplishments and lets everyone on the team see what others have completed and how much progress we've made together. That visibility has created a strong shared sense of success. On top of that the whole platform is very easy to learn and use and it has made our day to day work much more manageable.
Cons
It would be even better if it included a built-in chat feature for team communication. We already use Slack so it wouldn't need to be anything too advanced. But when a new task appears and I have a quick question, it would be much more convenient to ask it directly in the app instead of having to switch over to another tool.

“flexible sprint planning tools”
Pros
The collaboration and sprint planning features cover most of what our team needs such as adding followers, breaking work into subtasks, assigning due dates, setting priority levels, tracking LOE and more.
Cons
One thing I'd really like to see is the option to manually rearrange tasks in my personal task list. It can be sorted by due date, likes and other options but when I have a lot of tasks landing on the same day, I want to be able to drag and drop them into the order I plan to tackle them without needing to assign a specific time to each one.

“Reliable app”
Pros
Asana is a great tool. The dashboard flows nicely and can be customized to fit the way you work. Switching between projects on the board is simple and the mobile app is very well built and runs without any issues.
Cons
At times having this much flexibility can work against you. If you are not already familiar with how everything works, the amount of customization can feel overwhelming. Also some projects are much larger in scope than others and while task prioritization is available, there is no real way to prioritize projects themselves.

“project visibility keeps us aligned”
Pros
Our team lead relies on Asana to plan projects and assign tasks to each of us. What worked well for us is having all the projects displayed in one shared place where everyone can see them along with the deadlines. It is especially helpful during meetings because we can quickly tell what has already been completed and what is still in progress.
Cons
On a personal level I don't think it's very easy to use. Some features are not very clear and when I accidentally clicked the finish button, the project disappeared. I've never been able to locate my completed project afterward. I'm not sure whether that is because I'm not using the premium version. The interface also feels a bit confusing and it takes quite a while to find what I'm looking for. Two other members of my team feel the same way so we hardly end up using it.

“simplifies teamwork”
Pros
It is very easy to use and the archiving feature has been really helpful for keeping things organized. Overall it has definitely improved our efficiency and collaborating with coworkers is very simple too.
Cons
To get the most out of it this one really needs to connect with quite a few other apps. The interface also isn't quite as simple as some of the other tools we've tested.

Pros
Managing both my own tasks and my team's workload is really easy with this tool. It also works really well for staying in touch about projects, sharing updates and keeping everyone aligned.
Cons

“powerful once you learn it”
Pros
Asana comes with a lot of features so it took some time to learn At first but it has turned out to be a very useful tool for our business.

“Design is amazing”
Pros
Coming from a front-end developer I really can't emphasize this enough that the product is beautiful. It genuinely motivates me to step up my own front-end work. Using it is enjoyable because the design is very user friendly, the micro-interactions are fun and the whole experience just makes sense.
Cons
This is true of pretty much all project management tools but out of every version I've used, this one handles it better than most. When a platform gives you too much flexibility, not enough structure or very little guidance, it can end up feeling like nothing more than a glorified notepad. Even though it does a really good job of providing user friendly, low-friction ways to organize projects, I still think the overall experience could use more structure.

“keeps every project on track”
Pros
Asana is something I rely on constantly. We use it for every client at our agency and it helps us keep deliverables organized with clear due dates and assigned owners. I also really appreciate the built-in accountability around tasks since there's a clear record of who completed what and when it was done. On top of work, I use it for my personal to-dos too and it helps me stay organized, focused and on top of my priorities throughout the day.
Cons
The recent update has not been my favorite. It feels harder now to quickly see the details of a task although I'm assuming they'll keep refining it with future updates.
