“Keeps teams on schedule”
Pros
Asana does a really good job of keeping projects organized and making sure the people handling tasks stay on schedule.
Cons
One thing that can get confusing is task assignment especially when notifications are set to send every single action happening across projects.

“all projects in one place”
Pros
Having everything for a project in one place really helps keep work organized and moving at the pace it should. It has taken the place of a lot of email back-and-forth and feels convenient in just about any work environment. Overall it's a tool that genuinely helps set you up for success.
Cons
I didn't run into anything I disliked about this software.

“User friendly planning tool”
Pros
It is easy to use and I like how much you can tailor it to match your workflow, whether that's Kanban, list view or something else. Also it is a big plus that the free plan covers a certain number of users which makes it practical for smaller teams.
Cons
I'd still love to see the analytics and people-tracking side of it. Outside of that I really don't have other complaints as it handles exactly what I need it to do.

“Easy to set up”
Pros
You can set up projects with subtasks, assign work to specific people and keep everything organized in either a calendar view or a list view.
Cons
There's a bit of a learning curve at first because you have to spend some time exploring it to understand how detailed the platform can get. It's also worth adjusting the notification settings early on, otherwise it will email you every single time you're mentioned in a task or project which gets annoying fast.

“reliable project organization”
Pros
For years it has been a big help in keeping our projects organized. We really enjoy managing everything there and it's also been very useful for coordinating the team.
Cons
Aside from the occasional odd lag in the software, we really haven't had any problems. We've actually been very happy with the new updates released over the past few months.

“Notify us of deadlines”
Pros
Getting assignments through the app is really convenient and the due date reminders help a lot with staying on top of everything since notifications pop up when deadlines are getting close. Similar to Slack, it also makes it simple to reach out to teammates whenever questions come up. On top of that editors can jump in, connect pieces and flag questions without much hassle because documents can be shared with several team members at once.
Cons
The upload process works well once you've spent some time with it but there is definitely a bit of a learning curve at first. The assignment setup seems the same way like manageable after some practice yet pretty confusing for new users especially when another person on the team makes changes to a document. Thankfully, the latest version includes a timeline feature which makes it much clearer to track who changed what and when.

“Really useful tool”
Pros
One thing that works really well with Asana is how you can create multiple tasks and organize them across different projects. It also lets you assign subtasks to different people on your team which makes ownership clear and gives everyone visibility into what has already been completed. The timeline feature is also really useful because it gives you a visual view of everything coming up next.
Cons
The only thing I'd really want improved is better integration with desktop tools and other apps especially Gmail so tasks could be created more quickly without having to enter them manually in the platform.

“reminders are helpful”
Pros
Getting organized with it has been really easy. Plus it comes with ready made templates and if those do not fit your workflow, you can build your own system to track projects, tasks and more. The due date email reminders are also a big help especially when things get hectic and there's a long list of tasks competing for your attention.
Cons
I do not have any complaints about it.

“Easy to customize”
Pros
The interface looks really modern and is simple to personalize and the sample templates they provide are genuinely useful. It does a great job of keeping projects structured and organized.
Cons
The free plan is pretty limited when it comes to features. There's also a bit of a learning curve At the beginning and creating and managing subtasks isn't as easy as I wanted it to be.

“clear project tracking and teamwork”
Pros
While consulting for a company, I was given access to the relevant project in Asana and it immediately stood out how clearly everything was organized. Tasks, ownership and progress were all laid out in a way that made the project easy to follow. I also appreciated being able to communicate directly within the platform.
Cons
There is not much negative for me to mention. I did not run into anything that felt difficult to use. The only minor issue I noticed was with team messaging since it was not always clear when my messages had actually been seen or picked up.

“shared task lists, cluttered setup”
Pros
It's useful for organizing work with your team and suppliers, almost like a modern shared to-do list that everyone involved in the project can access.
Cons
Using it isn't very easy because there are too many features which makes it feel unclear. For me, it ends up being less practical than just keeping a good old Post-it on my computer!

“highly customizable software”
Pros
One of the biggest strengths is how customizable it is across so many areas. It can be adapted really well to fit the specific needs of different teams and projects. There are a lot of features available and the way it integrates with other apps and services makes it feel very flexible and capable once everything is set up to match your workflow. I also like having a mobile app version available.
Cons
Because it offers so many tools and functions getting the right layout and workflow set up for a team can feel a little overwhelming at first. There are a huge number of options and features which can make it seem a bit too advanced and complicated for everyday use in the beginning. It is not the most user friendly platform Right away but after spending some time with it and being patient while customizing the workspace, it becomes very useful and does a good job covering just about everything.

“The best from day one”
Pros
Getting started is very natural because tasks are organized in a way that's easy to understand. I have brought in employees with no prior experience and they were able to jump right in and start working. Deadlines, subtasks, comments and other essentials are built in and easy to use which makes day to day project coordination much simpler. Also it is clear that the platform keeps adding new features and while I don't use or even know some of the more advanced ones, the core tools needed to manage a project across multiple departments work really well. On top of that the free version is enough for many teams and that's exactly where we started too.
Cons
Nothing major really stands out as a downside because I'm genuinely a fan of the platform. If I had to point to a couple of things, the mobile app feels a bit too crowded which can make it less pleasant to use. I'd also love to see more native functionality included since right now we still need to rely on integrations with other apps to cover several needs.

“powerful task tracking and teamwork”
Pros
As a project management and collaboration platform this works really well. You can assign tasks to teammates, set deadlines and stay in touch with anyone involved in a project. It's also very useful for managing personal projects and keeping up with everyday to-do lists.
Cons

“excellent team visibility”
Pros
Having everything in one place really helps especially with team members working from different parts of the country. It works well not just for keeping up with my own day to day tasks but also for giving others visibility into what I'm working on so they can jump in and contribute when needed.
Cons
There was a stretch of several months when the software ran very slowly on my machine. My teammates didn't seem to have the same problem but on my end it would lag enough that I had to leave the site and come back just to get it responding properly. Thankfully, that seems to have been fixed a few months ago and it's been working really well since then.

“simple collaboration that clicks”
Pros
Everything about it is simple and user friendly and it works really well when collaborating with teammates as well as guest users like clients and stakeholders.
Cons
It comes with quite a few really useful features but a number of them sit behind a per-user tiered pricing model. That said it does make sense if your organization relies on it every day.

“flexible views and helpful alerts”
Pros
Asana works well for different project styles because you can switch between list, board and calendar views depending on how your team prefers to work. The assignment tools and notifications are especially useful and I really appreciate how they help keep tasks visible and moving.
Cons
One frustration is that a few features that feel like they belong in the free plan, such as seeing the number of items in a list, are missing and seem held back to push users toward higher-tier features like progress tracking. It gives the impression that the paid plans may not offer enough real value for small businesses at the price point.

“best in class project organization”
Pros
It really shines when it comes to tailoring the way work is organized. The wide range of options, combined with a thoughtfully designed interface, makes it stand out as the best project management tool in its category. Our entire marketing team uses it now and managing lots of high-profile projects has become much easier than before.
Cons
Only a very small complaint and that is I'd love to see more color customization options. Trello offers a wider variety in that area, while it seems a little more limited and locked down.

“fantastic task tracking value”
Pros
The tool is user friendly as it didn't take long to begin setting up tasks for both my recurring monthly projects and one-off work. My team gets notified through both email and the app so everyone stays aware of what needs to be completed. The free plan was a big help in getting started without any hassle. I also appreciate the checklist feature since it keeps task details visible instead of letting them disappear inside long email threads.
Cons
The only real challenge is getting some of my more tech minded teammates to actually click the checkbox once something is finished and that's not really something it can fix. It would also be helpful to have a summary view for monthly items. Still considering the price, it's tough to find much to complain about.
