“clean design for basic teamwork”
Pros
The interface is easy to navigate and looks nice. It works well as a simple to-do list tool and it also lets you collaborate easily with team members.
Cons
It feels pretty limited when it comes to advanced features. Reporting options are fairly minimal and it's not as well suited for larger organizations or group use compared with other platforms.

“fantastic dashboard and deadlines”
Pros
One thing that stands out right away is how well it handles time management. It keeps my schedule properly organized and sets deadlines in a way that helps me stay on top of everything without missing tasks. On top of that the dashboard is excellent, with a wide range of options and features that feel impressive and versatile enough to support just about any kind of project.
Cons
With so many strong features included, I honestly can't point to anything negative about it or make any real complaint. It has been a genuinely wonderful tool for me and I haven't had any issues worth mentioning.

“powerful task planning features”
Pros
Creating tasks is easy and the group and subtask options make it really practical for organizing work. Formatting is simple to handle with shortcuts which saves time. The integration with Instagantt is also a big plus for building Gantt charts.
Cons
The Kanban view could be better because drag-and-drop doesn't feel very user friendly. Custom fields are also limited which makes the tool less flexible in some situations.

“clean interface, tricky dependencies”
Pros
The interface looks clean and the transition was not a hassle either. It's simple and user friendly for team members to add, remove and manage tasks.
Cons
Figuring out task or team dependencies can be pretty confusing. On top of that the mobile app sometimes becomes unresponsive.

“flexible project tracking and inbox”
Pros
The free version offers a lot and the G Suite integration has been really useful. It also does a nice job of handling multiple projects at once. The Inbox feature is especially handy since it makes it quick to keep up with upcoming tasks and due dates.
Cons
There are a lot of features packed into it so it took some time to get comfortable moving through the different screens. The learning curve can feel pretty steep especially for team members who are not very tech savvy.

“team goals and useful metrics”
Pros
Asana does a really good job of keeping teams aligned around a shared goal. It saves time and resources and I can assign tasks by team or by individual which also makes tracking performance metrics much easier. It's one of the main platforms we rely on in the company for measuring progress and reporting on metrics.
Cons
One thing that happens sometimes is forgetting to mark a task as completed and then the status doesn't update unless you go back and click it so it's worth double-checking. Also, if an older task gets left behind, it's not always very obvious that it's still pending.

“clean interface and handy integrations”
Pros
The interface was nice to use and the functionality felt simple. Plus being able to connect it with Google Drive and other cloud services was a big plus.
Cons
The security features weren't very satisfying and the email functionality could be better. I also wish the Chrome extension worked more effectively.

“team collaboration that keeps us organized”
Pros
Having the whole company work together in one place really helps keep everything organized. Tasks can start to pile up sometimes but the platform does a good job of keeping everyone aligned and on track.
Cons
Things can become pretty confusing when a lot of people are involved although that feels more like an internal team issue than a problem with the software itself.

“simple and reliable daily organizer”
Pros
Every day, I rely on it to stay on top of my to-do list and jot down useful tips as I go. The biggest advantage is how simple it is. It doesn't feel overloaded with unnecessary features and it still gives me everything I need to get things done.
Cons
A few of the more useful features are locked behind the paid version, like the timeline and organizing tasks into folders. That makes the free plan feel less valuable than it could be.

“free plan does it all”
Pros
Even on the free plan, it handles everything I need just as well as some tools that charge for it. It's very easy to use and seems self explanatory right from the start.
Cons
I don't have any complaints. I've loved using it and I'm actually curious about upgrading to the paid version just to see what extra features it offers.

“clean design and fast updates”
Pros
Asana puts a lot of attention into usability and thoughtful design which makes it pleasant to work in. They're constantly improving the platform and new features seem to roll out pretty often. On the one occasion I contacted support, the reply came quickly and was actually helpful.
Cons
It's still missing a few smaller touches that would have a big impact for example, showing in the overview whether a task already has subtasks or comments.

“fantastic visibility and integrations”
Pros
It has been an amazing task management system to use and the customer support has been excellent as well. It gives managers a clear big-picture view of everything happening in one place such as who is handling which modules, what the deadlines are and when work gets completed and approved. I also really like how user friendly the platform is. It helps me organize my work without much effort and the fact that it integrates with almost everything makes it even more useful.
Cons
One limitation is that for an individual workspace, it's not really possible to see all tasks gathered in a single place. If they fix that soon, this tool could really dominate the market.

“flexible boards and team setup”
Pros
Setting up organizations and teams is easy and it does a really nice job of helping manage projects and tasks through a variety of views and boards.
Cons
At times it's a bit too easy to lose track when tasks get buried under several layers of subtasks and it can be confusing to trace them back to the original parent task.

“helpful task alerts and updates”
Pros
Assigning tasks is one of the parts I appreciate most, along with the task notifications and the ability to share project updates directly inside the software.

Task notifications do appear in the mobile app but it would be even better if project deadlines could also sync with our calendars.

“flexible project tracking wins”
Pros
Being able to share files with followers and keep up with projects through constant updates is a big plus. The app gives plenty of structure without feeling restrictive or boxed in.
Cons
There is not much I would call a downside. It did take a little time to figure out how everything worked At first mostly because the app has so many different features for handling projects effectively.

Pros
Keeping everything for one person or the whole team in a single place has been really useful. It works as an all in one hub for information and communication which makes staying organized much easier.
Cons

“powerful task tracking and search”
Pros
One of my favorite things about this software is how it lets me link tasks across different projects, create subtasks and automate recurring tasks once they're set up. I also really appreciate being able to build custom fields that match the needs of each project. Those fields make it much faster to get a quick status update at a glance and they definitely help me stay productive. On top of that the advanced search is incredibly useful. I can run searches almost like reports and see the results in real time.
Cons
A frustration I run into is when someone adds me to a project without telling me first because I can completely miss it since I don't really pay close attention to the inbox. The inbox itself is a bit hard for me to work with and I feel the same way about the My Tasks area. Because of that I prefer when teammates mention a project to me directly so I know to follow it or when they verbally assign me a task and then I track it in my personal projects. I also sometimes wish the integration with Google Sheets was stronger since I spend a lot of my time working in Sheets.
