The Time Entry is loved by all staff! The budget entry is easy and very useful for figuring profitability. It does make Project Management easy to see how the project is progressing and if you are overshooting your employee time projections. Hoping the CRM module will be just as easy once trained on how to use it. We do not use this for any bookkeeping.

Cons

Some of the reports could be a bit more user-friendly such as the A/R aging report. It lists projects by the Clients name instead of the Project name, which is not helpful if you dont have the Owner/Owners rep memorized for each project. Invoicing takes a lot longer than our previous software by the same company. It would be nice if it were easier to do and less time-consuming.

UI is a bit glitchy at times. On occasion the autofill feature fails to work, making it impossible to allocate logged hours to a specific matter.

BQE Core is quick and easy to learn, only took me a matter of minutes. Use this software to log all my hours for each job that I work on every day and it keeps you organized with relative ease.

Using CORE to invoice our clients has freed up so much of my time I am afraid I could have streamlined myself out of a job. Billing previews that used to take days are now done in hours. The time to create invoices and submit them for approval takes about 25% of the time before CORE. Easy to learn and is easy to use.

CORE is a very complex software system to set up, but once we worked out all of the nuances and specifications, this software rocks!

Make sure you have a full-time designated staff member who can concentrate on setup, training staff, implementation, and troubleshooting over a minimum of about three months. Its a big commitment but worth it in the end.There are over 200 reports to choose from and until you apply filters and create the report, you wont see what its going to show you. There is also no way to modify (customize) the filters/parameters within the generated report, to create exactly what you want. There is a way to save your favorites but getting that together will take a great deal of initial setup time. Implementation for a smooth-running financial reporting system will take longer than other software applications.Project expense entry for staff is not very intuitive so if they are only using that feature once a month, they tend to keep making the same errors again and again. We solved that problem by having 1 fully trained support person enter all expenses.

Having a Dashboard to view tasks, and timeline is very helpful.Easy to log efforts and time spent in BQE.Bulk timesheet approval is easy.
