“Versatile tool for project tracking”

ClickUp gives me a really simple way to stay on top of all kinds of tasks, whether they are for personal use or for my business. It helps me keep track of the projects I am handling for customers and makes it much easier to make sure everything gets finished on time.

Cons

At this point I honestly have not come across anything negative to say about the software.

“Strong task visibility and teamwork”

Pros

Task and project visualization is one of the best parts and everyone on my team can jump in to edit, view and add new tasks without any trouble.

Cons

It's packed with features which makes it feel pretty complex and that usually makes the learning curve harder for new people on my team. The guest editor mode also has poor project organization and the project bookmark feature never seems to work properly.

It does an excellent job of helping us stay on top of several projects at once.

A few of the integrations still don't work as well as we'd want.

ClickUp comes with a lot of powerful tools that other platforms usually lock behind paid plans like Gantt Charts, Whiteboards and the simple way Docs connect with Tasks.

Cons

One downside is that it can be slow to load. It feels like the platform may be trying to roll out too many features at once and that seems to be affecting overall performance.

“Calendar sync works really well”

Pros

The bi-directional sync with Google Calendar has been excellent and makes keeping everything aligned much more convenient.

The mobile app still needs more development though it feels like that will be improved over time.

Its app comes with a lot of really useful tools and I genuinely love the way it works overall.

It doesn't keep records the way I'd want and I wish it offered more storage.

Getting the hang of it happened really quickly and I felt comfortable using it almost right away.

I have only used the software twice and during that short time I did not run into any issues at all.

The variety of views and colorful features like Gantt and Board, make it really convenient to organize and manage everything on the platform.

There's definitely a learning curve at the beginning and without some training or prior experience, handling tasks can start to feel complicated.

ClickUp has become the central place for everything in my business such as projects, project management and keeping a remote team organized. It's played a big part in helping me grow and scale the business.

Lately some of the automations have felt a bit complex and could definitely be improved. The mobile app could also use some work.

Pros

Out of the similar tools I have tried, this is the one I'd choose every time. It's simpler to set up, easier to use and quicker to get running than the others and the pricing is about the same or even a bit lower.

I have not run into any downsides yet. It seems to handle everything I need and there are still parts of it I have not even had the chance to explore.

“Custom boards fit any project”

Pros

Being able to create tasks and tailor the Kanban board with project-specific columns is a big plus. It makes organizing work feel much more flexible and suited to exactly what each project needs.

The number of notifications can be a bit much for what I need. I know the notification settings can be adjusted but changing them feels tedious and it's not always clear which option controls which alert.

Keeps everything organized and makes it simple for management to see where you are with your tasks.

It can feel a bit confusing at first but it becomes much easier to use once you get familiar with it.

“Great UI with good task linking”

Pros

Right away the interface looks good and well designed. Linking tasks together works really well and being able to create tasks specifically for documentation is a big plus. I also appreciate that making custom templates is supported since it helps tailor the workflow to my needs.

Cons

One limitation is that the Workload feature which is very useful, is only included in the Business plan. Finding templates can also be a bit confusing at times and I have noticed occasional lag after updating tasks.

Pros

Keeping up with daily tasks is simple with this software and the interface is easy to use.

Cons

I don't really have any major complaints but it would be better if integrations with other software were simpler to set up.

“Friendly interface with reliable chat”

Pros

Right away the interface felt incredibly user friendly. The colors and tools are clear, user friendly and simple to work with and the chat has been excellent. I have not run into any issues using it on my laptop at all.

Cons

The only thing I can point to is the mobile version. I don't really use or need it but when I tried it, I had a few issues. That said it may have been related to my phone rather than the app itself.

It has really helped my team get more done and work in a much more efficient way. There are a lot of useful features built in which makes it even more valuable for our daily work.

Honestly, there's nothing I'd want them to change right now. They should just keep doing what they're doing.

This has been a really strong tool for distributed and remote teams especially when you're managing work against a project timeline. It helps keep everyone aligned and on the same page every single day.

A few of the integrations did not function properly right from the start.

Pros

Handling task assignments in ClickUp has been excellent. Scheduling projects is also easy, time tracking across apps works really well and the workflow management features have been very helpful too.

It's also a really strong app for team collaboration and project planning.
