“Resource planning consistently delivered well”

Pros

One of the best things about it is the resource allocation feature. It lets you add resources to a project and assign any resource to a task without much effort.

Cons

The only downside for me at this point is the pricing as it is expensive.

The interface is colorful thoughtfully arranged and visually appealing. The home page feels well organized and welcoming which makes a nice first impression.

Cons

Actually using it can be a bit complicated and awkward at times. It is frustrating that you cannot select multiple cells or copy sections which makes routine tasks harder than they should be.

Pros

ClickUp completely changed how I manage all the tasks involved in client work. I needed something to keep everything organized instead of trying to remember it all and Excel just wasn't enough for that. It's turned out to be an effective, user friendly solution for running my business.

Cons

There's a noticeable lag when I mark tasks as complete.

Pros

Managing both my time and tasks is very easy with this tool and the app looks fully built out on every platform. That consistency makes working on different devices simple, no matter where I am.

Cons

One thing that threw me off was the most recent update which changed a lot all at once and made the overall experience feel pretty different. Instead of getting used to new features or layout changes gradually, everything seemed to arrive together so it took a bit of time to wrap my head around it.

Compared with some other platforms this one is easy to use even if it still isn't my top choice.

Though the tool does a good job of keeping thoughts and files organized but the functionality seems somewhat limited.

“Custom setup fit our needs perfectly”

Pros

Having so much room to customize is a huge plus. I had an external agency handle the setup and now everything is arranged exactly the way I want it. I also really enjoy being able to create separate wikis for each client.

Cons

It does use quite a bit of my laptop's resources and at times it can make the rest of my PC feel slower.

Pros

Using it is not a hassle and it helps keep information well organized. It has made it much easier for me to structure my work into spaces, folders, lists and tasks.

Cons

The large number of features can be a bit confusing and overwhelming at times especially when someone is just getting started with it.

ClickUp has made our project management much more efficient especially for onboarding and keeping track of marketing partners. We've customized it around our workflow and the automation helps our team monitor metrics and measure success for each partner more effectively.

Cons

One thing that would make this app even better is built-in internal messaging which would help it feel more like a true all in one platform.

The tool works well for managing time across the agency and helps keep that part of our workflow organized.

That said I still have to rely on other tools to cover the gaps and handle what it doesn't provide.

Its flexibility for customization makes it adaptable to just about any project requirement. It's also consistently capable of managing large, complicated projects without trouble.

It performs excellently for project management and I really don't have any complaints.

Pros

Being able to comment right inside tasks, assign them to several team members and keep every project conversation centralized in one place has been really helpful.

When a team is handling a large number of tasks or working across many projects at once, the platform can start to feel sluggish.

One thing I really like is how often the platform gets updated and improved. It also integrates with almost all the other tools I use which makes it really convenient to add and assign tasks from wherever I am working. The desktop app is especially helpful because it lets you do that in real time while you're on any website or inside a document.

Cons

The downside is that the learning curve is pretty steep. Even after using Asana, Trello and other project management tools this has been the hardest one for me to fully understand and get comfortable with. Another frustration is that as the product keeps evolving some features that used to be available on the free plan seem to have been moved into the business or enterprise tiers so it feels like you eventually have to pay. With Asana, the free version covered the basic features I needed so the extra cost here is definitely a drawback.

Working with colleagues through this tool is easy and the layout keeps everything well organized. That structure makes it simple to find and access different items without wasting time.

Cons

It can be a little complex for someone new to the platform. A basic tutorial covering the essentials would make onboarding much better.

The platform is very versatile but getting comfortable with all of its advanced features can be a steep learning curve for new users.

Everything from work management to different project functions is brought together in one platform which makes it really convenient to handle everything in a single place.

Using the software does require some basic knowledge and training at first since the interface and navigation can feel complex.

ClickUp is easy to use, looks visually engaging and stays very well organized. It gives a really helpful snapshot of company projects, timelines and overall status at a glance. The FAQ section is excellent and the YouTube videos are just as helpful.

I was happy with everything and didn't run into any downsides while using it.

Keeping track of tasks and managing them in this tool has been a huge advantage and it has noticeably improved how efficiently work gets done. The comments and replies inside each task also make communication hassle free which helps the team stay aligned and work together more effectively.

Cons

At this point I have not run into any downsides. If I notice any issues later on, I'll definitely share feedback.

Everything is easy to use and the platform is laid out in a very organized, well-structured way.

Right away the level of detail and customization across the whole platform really worked for me. I had already mapped out my main processes and turning those into projects, tasks and time allocations felt very user friendly. Once everything was set up and out of my head, it genuinely seemed like the system could handle everything. As I worked, I kept things updated so progress was always visible whether something was on track or slipping and nothing got missed. That gave me a huge sense of peace of mind.

Cons

At the same time the more detailed I made everything, the more ongoing updates and attention it needed. A couple of months in, I went through a busy stretch and stopped using it for a while. When I came back, there was just too much time needed to review all the projects and get everything current again so it gradually lost momentum for me. In a team setting though if someone other than the owner takes on the role of keeping it running, I can absolutely see it being a real game changer.

Pros

It's a very user friendly, best-in-class product with a lot of automation possibilities.

Cons

I cannot point to any downsides right now as I genuinely think it's the best CRM available on the market.
