“Flexible management for agile teams”

Pros

The platform is highly customizable and it works really well for managing remote teams that follow agile methodologies.

Cons

One thing I am not a fan of is having to pay extra to export advanced data.

Automations are easily the standout feature for me and the biggest reason I enjoy using it.

There are a few occasional glitches here and there but not often at all. I really like it overall.

ClickUp comes with an impressive number of features and even the free version includes plenty of tools for organizing, planning, creating and coordinating. I really appreciate how many options are built into the overall experience. Nearly all of the default settings and templates can be customized so users can shape the platform to fit their own workflow at almost every stage. I also value how versatile and adaptable the software is. It works well for both professional and personal projects, plans and goals, whether you're using it on your own or collaborating with a team.

Cons

With all of those features and choices, the biggest drawback for me was accessibility and overall usability. On my iOS Apple iPhone SE, the app was nearly unusable. I am not a software expert but I am definitely not a beginner either and I still found it extremely confusing. Setting everything up took so much time and effort that it just didn't feel worth continuing with it.

It's an all in one tool that makes things much more manageable especially when you need to keep detailed reports organized with dates.

At first it can feel a little confusing to navigate but they offer plenty of videos that walk you through each feature step by step.

Right from the start this software has delivered really effective service. I am genuinely impressed by how well-developed its features are. It has made organizing and collaborating on projects much more manageable for our team. We can also track each project and monitor progress without much hassle. The option to add custom fields is another really useful feature in the tool. On top of that it's simple to work with and the interface feels very user friendly.

Cons

Handling and visualizing multiple tasks felt a little difficult but after spending some time with it, I now understand how everything works and can use the tool confidently. I have also contacted customer support and they've been very helpful, resolving every issue quickly.

“Budget-friendly with effortless organization”

Pros

This platform was incredibly simple and using it day to day is very fun. It helps me keep all my work organized so I don't have to rely on memory for anything and moving through tasks is very easy. On top of that the pricing is very affordable and works well for my budget.

Cons

I cannot think of anything to dislike about it. It delivers everything I have been looking for and I am a huge fan of the platform.

Across my team this has been fantastic to use. Everyone has their tasks posted in one place and keeping track of the workflow is very easy. It's simple to follow up on specific tasks and whenever there are updates or issues, everyone gets informed right away. The mobile app is reliable too and it's available on both Android and iOS.

Cons

It does come with a lot of options so new users can sometimes have a hard time figuring out how to use it at first.

It's really made teamwork and shared project management possible for us. The features are essential and play a big part in helping us get every task completed.

I have been using it for quite some time and have not run into any issues. Everything has been going well.

After using it over the last year, I can honestly say this is the best project management tool I have worked with. It has completely changed how I handle tasks organize projects and collaborate with my team.

Cons

At this point I really have not run into anything I am unhappy with. That's not to say bugs don't exist or there aren't features I might want down the line but I personally have not come across any so far.

It offers a lot of customization and works well for building CRMs as well as handling project management.

Cons

Even though it's versatile, it can be slow and a bit hard to use at times. I stopped using it around six months ago so that may have improved since then. In a lot of ways, the functionality is stronger than tools like Asana and Notion but I still lean toward those because they feel simpler overall and Notion in particular because it's even more flexible, just not as technical.

ClickUp's biggest strength for me was how versatile it is while still looking user friendly. It made task and project management much easier and more efficient which helped our team stay organized and keep productivity up.

Cons

One part that was less enjoyable was the occasional complexity when setting up more advanced features especially custom workflows. For instance configuring automated notifications across several projects took more time and technical know-how than I expected which could be difficult for newer users or anyone with limited experience using project management tools.

Out of all the project management tools I have worked with this is easily the best one I have used.

I honestly don't have anything to complain about with this software.

ClickUp has been really effective for bringing our team together around task management while still giving managers visibility without having to micromanage anyone. We use it to make sure both management and staff stay on top of monthly responsibilities and it also helps us monitor customer time logs. It's a very capable platform with a lot more to offer than what we're currently using and it still feels like we've only explored a small part of what it can do.

Cons

There are times when the platform feels a bit confusing and our manager has to run refresher or training sessions with the staff fairly often.

One of the best things about ClickUp is how endlessly customizable it is which makes it useful for all kinds of different workflows and purposes.

Cons

A couple of additions would make it even more functional for our team. I'd really like a way to see how many tasks were moved from one status to another so we can track how many leads we closed each month. It would also help a lot to automate reminders before tasks are due.

Keeping track of my time has been much better with this system. It has honestly been the best app for what I need.

Having everything in one place is a big plus. I can manage my work, track time, connect it with the other tools I use and gather information through forms.

At the beginning navigation was a bit confusing before the upgrade. It also used to be difficult to locate tasks.

It is pretty easy to use and the interface looks user friendly without much of a learning curve. Another big plus is how much you can personalize the UI, from the color scheme and layout to the specific type of dashboard you want to see.

Cons

One limitation is that if you are not part of the administrative team that originally set it up, you will need permission to make certain changes or access some settings.

Getting started with ClickUp is fast and rolling it out across the company is pretty easy.

I have not come across any particular downsides when using it.

The interface is colorful but that doesn't make it simple to work with. The design looks colorful, yet it's still not easy to use.

I am very disappointed with how they handled my recent refund request. I paid for a full year starting in February 2024 but later realized that several important features didn't support my use cases and the data exports weren't usable which made the platform essentially useless for me. I switched down to the free plan in June 2024 and even though I didn't use the service for the remaining eight months, they still refused to refund the fee. That kind of inflexibility and poor customer support is unacceptable. I expected much better from a company that says it puts customer satisfaction first. Anyone thinking about subscribing should be careful as its refund practices are not fair.
