“Good way to organize a team

The video recording feature has several issues and it can be frustrating when long videos fail to save.

Without a doubt our team finds ClickUp to be the best project management software available surpassing others by a significant margin. The level of customization it offers is fantastic and it effortlessly allows us to involve clients in specific projects. Tracking project status due dates and flow is incredibly intuitive.

Cons

The initial learning curve for this software can be quite steep especially for individuals who struggle with technology. Additionally we have experienced inconsistent notifications throughout the year causing us to miss updates on a few occasions. It would greatly benefit from improvements in the mobile application and ensuring a smoother learning experience for inexperienced users.

ClickUp excels in task management and scheduling. The ability to break down projects into actionable tasks and attach relevant details to each task is what impresses me the most.

As someone who manages multiple projects daily the task of managing them within the platform became progressively more challenging as the number of projects increased particularly when they were part of a larger project. Integrating related projects and having a dashboard-like format to summarize each project and visualize dependencies proved difficult for me.

The software offers extensive capabilities but integrating and fully utilizing them may require significant time and onboarding which could burden the team.

After using the software for more than a year, the only disappointment I have is why did I not know about this sooner. ClickUp is amazing and a lot of features work in conjunction with each other to make your work simpler. I personally found at least more than one way to complete all of my tasks, which is really helpful since I get a choice to save time or focus more on quality every time a similar task comes up. The biggest time saver is the automation feature. And the software development team has the knowledge they need to solve unique problems.

Cons

There have been instances when it has presented us with way too many options to choose from, which becomes complicated quickly. It has a plethora of customization options, which should have been the greatest “Pro” but ended up here since it requires a lot of training. Also, there is definitely room for improvement in the way the interface is designed. The font size is too small and due to the colorful theme, blank-background panes are a lot more difficult to read.

The all-encompassing productivity tool attempts to handle various tasks yet I did not find it effective for managing tasks. Moreover it comes with a substantial learning curve.

Excellent for new project management teams. It's simpler to use than others facilitating effective collaboration and maintenance with the team the best one I've used.

All is well though occasional delays arise in managing reports. The learning curve for newcomers can be challenging but is manageable.

The calendar design lacks utility for those needing to view hours tracked over extended periods. Simply presenting hours and dates on individual projects and overall pay period hours creates extreme disparities. This poses a particular challenge for employees tracking bulk hours without a visual component only the textual "3h on Jan 30."
