“Flexible views make teamwork much easier”
Pros
One thing that really works well in ClickUp is being able to track project progress through different views which makes the platform feel very flexible. It also comes with a wide range of tools for collaboration and information sharing which is really helpful when working with a team.
Cons
I'd love to see more integrations with third-party tools added in the future so it can offer even more functionality.

“Teams can customize everything their way”
Pros
The way ClickUp can be customized to match your team's workflow and preferences is a huge plus. It adapts really well to different working styles which makes it feel much more tailored to how your team actually operates.
Cons
One downside is that there's no offline mode at all, not even syncing support. If you're often without an internet connection, it's definitely not the most practical option.

“Customization options are beneficial”
Pros
I chose ClickUp specifically because I needed something I could tailor to the way I work and it absolutely delivered on that promise.
Cons
That said all of that customization made the platform too complicated for my clients. In the end, I went with a less flexible option that was also more affordable.

“Document sharing and collaboration work well”
Pros
Working with my team on projects has been one of the best parts of using this software. It also gives us a really useful way to create, store and share documents, both with internal team members and with external users.
Cons
I don't have any real complaints. The platform keeps getting updates and new features on a regular basis and even the free version offers plenty of valuable functionality to get started.

“Flexible features with lots of options”
Pros
There are a lot of features built in and it can be customized to fit exactly what you need.

It ended up being more powerful than I really needed and my organization already had other tools in place.

“boards often glitch”
Pros
There's a lot packed into it which is a big plus. I can set up tasks and also assign multiple subtasks, along with plenty of other smaller things that make it really capable.
Cons
Board setup has been frustrating at times because it can be glitchy and it sometimes takes a while for everything to appear correctly.

“Billing misleads a lot”
Pros
ClickUp does a good job with task management and setting up simple tasks is pretty easy too.
Cons
The payment setup seems misleading and the invoicing system is a mess. Adding user access or trying to create anything like a client portal is extremely frustrating. User permissions are easily the most confusing and badly designed part of it even though they're such a necessary feature. On top of that customer service was awful as they were unhelpful, gaslighting and clearly understaffed. Once you move beyond basic tasks, the platform falls apart. Features tied to workflow, project management, time tracking and similar functions are so poorly implemented that I wouldn't trust it for any serious project without worrying about costly mistakes.

“Automations make everything easier”
Pros
Having all the features in one place especially the automations, has made my day to day work and customer follow-up much more manageable.
Cons
A few of the features still aren't very clear to me in terms of how to use them so I am probably not taking full advantage of things that could benefit my company even more.

“powerhouse with endless view options”
Pros
ClickUp is like the kind of software you want to keep using because it's flexible, powerful and user friendly all at once. Managing tasks here is easier than in Notion, while still giving me the same kind of docking functionality I rely on. Compared with other project management tools, it offers a much wider range of features and capabilities. If a certain interface doesn't work, I can just switch views. If I need more room for information, custom fields take care of it. If I want things handled elsewhere, automations fill that gap. It's been such a strong fit that I have even moved a few clients onto it for CRM use since it works better for them than a lot of the CRMs being actively marketed.
Cons
There are still some frustrations with it. It can be prone to breaking at times especially in the app. The UI also has some bloat that can make navigation feel slower than it should. Since almost everything is built around a task, it can feel less user friendly for certain record types even if relabeling helps somewhat. Performance can also be inconsistent, with some things moving slower than others. On top of that as the product has grown, the sales team has become more difficult to reach and work with.

“Flexible workflows with helpful time tracking”
Pros
One of the best parts of ClickUp is how customizable it is which lets us adjust our project management workflows to match the way we plan and execute different project strategies. The time tracking feature has also been extremely valuable because it helps us estimate how long each task will take, ultimately saving both time and resources.
Cons
The mobile app still needs quite a bit of improvement in terms of functionality if it's going to better support productive project management while on the go.

“offer great customization options”
Pros
ClickUp gives me really powerful task management tools and the customization options are a big plus. I can adjust workflows, use color tags for each project and daily task and it makes tracking progress much easier since the colors clearly represent each task's status.
Cons
The menus felt cluttered and pretty overwhelming while I was learning the software. It honestly took about two weeks before I felt comfortable with the system structure and knew how to navigate all the tools available in the platform.

Pros
Getting up and running with it was quick and I was able to start using it right away. The range of features you get for the price is really impressive.
Cons
At times we'd make changes and they wouldn't appear in the tool right away. We often had to refresh it a couple of times which made it unclear whether the updates had actually been saved or not.

“A real powerhouse for flexible workspaces”
Pros
Without a doubt the best part for me is how flexible and customizable it is. It really is like a project management Swiss army knife. I can set up my workspace exactly the way I want whether I am working on my own or with a full team. On top of that it integrates well with the other tools I rely on every day which makes it even better. It almost seems like it anticipates what I need before I do.
Cons
If I had to point out one small downside, it would be the learning curve for new users. The interface makes sense once you've spent a little time with it but jumping in for the first time can feel somewhat overwhelming especially for people who aren't very tech-savvy. That said once you get over that early bump, everything becomes much more manageable.

“Promising platform”
Pros
ClickUp has is fairly easy to use even though it still seems like a newer platform. It offers a lot and there's clearly plenty of room for it to keep improving but at the same time it can feel very complicated.
Cons
The structure is extremely complex so it's often unclear where to find things. A proper onboarding or starter training would really help users understand how to navigate it better.
