“Versatile workflows with many useful features”
Pros
There's a lot to appreciate about how usable it is. With so many features and different ways to work inside the platform, it's simple to shape it around all kinds of workflows and personal working styles.
Cons
The biggest challenge is the learning curve. At first, it can feel like a lot to absorb all at once but once you spend some time clicking around, it becomes much easier to understand and customize to what works best for each user.

“Feels cluttered and does not scale”
Pros
It is easy to use and teams were able to keep their own updates current without much effort.
Cons
It doesn't work very well for cross-functional collaboration. As the organization grows, the system quickly starts to feel cluttered and hard to manage and it doesn't scale particularly well.

“Strong features for managing all tasks”
Pros
Compared with other project management platforms this one offers more features and fits into internal workflows more naturally. Working with teammates across different countries, the task management tools make it much simpler to keep deliverables organized and under control.
Cons
The mobile app could definitely be more user friendly.

“Comments and subtasks make tasks easier”
Pros
The task management works really well especially being able to leave comments and break bigger tasks down into subtasks.
Cons
One thing I don't like is the lag when I am adding a comment and sometimes it won't send at all.

“A true powerhouse for managing projects”
Pros
It's a very useful tool for project management and team collaboration. One of its biggest strengths is how flexible it is since I can organize tasks in many different ways, like lists, Kanban boards or Gantt charts which lets me adjust the setup based on the specific needs of each project.
Cons
Because it comes with so many features, it can feel overwhelming for new users and it may take some time to get familiar with everything the platform has to offer.

“Strong dashboards with handy calendar tools”
Pros
It comes packed with pretty much every feature you might need, along with really strong overview and calendar integration capabilities. The dashboard view is excellent and the calculation options are something I really appreciate.
Cons
This isn't the best fit for beginners looking for something simple since it can feel a little overwhelming at times. The free version also leaves out some of the options I need.

“Handles client tasks absolutely brilliantly”
Pros
Juggling work for multiple clients every month got too hard to keep track of mentally as my workload grew. Out of all the task management tools I have used, this one has worked the best for me. The setup is fairly simple and the way everything is laid out makes it easy for me to stay organized.
Cons
One area that gave me some trouble was setting up recurring tasks. That part didn't feel very user friendly at first. After some trial and error though, I was able to figure out a process that works well for me.

“Loaded with features and very approachable”
Pros
Getting started with ClickUp feels very user friendly for just about anyone. It offers a wide range of tools and plenty of unique features that help you handle all your tasks in one place. On top of that the customer and technical support is very strong and helpful when needed.
Cons
The mobile app still doesn't perform very well. Loading times are quite long and it needs improvement to be more effective. A lot of the time we're away from our main workspace and need to monitor tasks and situations from our devices so the mobile experience should be better.

“Clean interface with a very pleasant design”
Pros
Its interface is one of my favorite parts. It has a clean white layout with small touches of color so it never feels cluttered and is very comfortable to look at.
Cons
At times it can still feel a bit complicated. I use it on my own and have joined quite a few training sessions but since I am not collaborating with a team, I am still not sure I am getting the most out of everything it offers.

“Modern look with many handy templates”
Pros
The interface is probably my favorite part of ClickUp. It feels inviting and visually appealing and once you spend a little time with it, it becomes fairly simple to use. I really enjoy the colors and the modern overall design. It's also nice that you can create documentation with the notes feature and the variety of templates is another big plus.
Cons
One thing that didn't work as well for me was how cluttered it can feel. I wish it had something more like Airtable's bases to better separate areas because that would make tasks and documents much easier to access. The layered hierarchy of folders also feels a bit crowded to me. The last time I used it, I also had trouble getting formulas to work properly which was pretty frustrating.

“Setup feels fragile and tracking is weak”
Pros
Teams without a technical background seem to prefer it over Jira and it's useful that users can keep their own private spaces.
Cons
The platform comes across as fragile. A lot can happen without any trace or recovery path. For instance, items can be moved, renamed, disabled or deleted and by the time you realize it, it's already too late. There's no record showing when it happened or who did it and no alerts are sent either. The documentation also doesn't feel enterprise-ready especially compared with Confluence and the number of integrations is clearly lower than Jira.

“Better visibility with much more detailed reporting”
Pros
Breaking large, complicated projects into smaller, manageable tasks is one of the most useful things about ClickUp. It gives teams much better transparency too since it's simple to see who is assigned to what and how work is progressing. It also integrates well with outside tools like Trello and Slack which helps keep everything in sync. Another strong point is the reporting which is detailed and visual enough to support more informed, evidence based decisions.
Cons
Getting comfortable with it is not immediate and the more advanced features take some time to fully learn. Setting up workflows can also feel a little complicated and usually requires extra time to configure properly. It can be challenging to scale when you have larger teams and a wide mix of roles. On top of that reports and dashboards are only available on the highest-priced plan.

“Design stays consistent across all devices”
Pros
One thing I really like is how user friendly the design is, particularly on mobile devices. The desktop version is good as well. A lot of tools end up looking and behaving differently between desktop and mobile which gets frustrating fast but ClickUp does a nice job of keeping the experience consistent across both.
Cons
My only real complaint is the occasional bugs on OS. Every few weeks, the app just won't load anything. It has definitely improved over time but it's still frustrating when you're out in the field and depending on your mobile device to get work done.
