ClickUp surpasses any task manager I've used before. Having used Asana, Todoist, and Trello in the past, I can confidently say that ClickUp combines the best features of these apps into one. It's incredibly robust and likely offers features you didn't even realize you needed, such as time tracking, priority settings, status updates, dashboards, filters, various views, document management, linked tasks, and more.

Cons

Due to its extensive feature set, ClickUp can take some time to get accustomed to. It took me 2-3 hours of watching videos and exploring the software to feel comfortable, but the time invested was worth it in terms of the software's time-saving capabilities. Additionally, there are a few minor bugs that can be annoying, but they are not deal-breakers. I'm confident the development team will address these issues soon, as they seem quite active. The two bugs that caused inconvenience were as follows: a) dashboard issues, where new information wouldn't always load or a block would temporarily break; b) slow performance, especially in the PC app compared to the web app. As a side note, adding the web app to your desktop creates a faster version of the PC app.

We were thrilled with the ability to create filterable dashboards and found the kanban boards easy to navigate. The continual improvement of the mobile app is also appreciated.

Cons

I'm eagerly anticipating the ability to incorporate more custom fields in the dashboard reports.

“Finally a more visual task/flow manager

Pros

As a designer, I appreciate ClickUp's visual aspect. The ability to set thumbnail images per project and share flows easily with clients is invaluable. The feature set, including adding notes and links, is fantastic for personal and shared use.

Cons

What I find least appealing about this software is that my preferred view never saves, despite selecting it. I prefer the Board view, but every time I access the page, it defaults to a List view. I constantly have to switch it back and forth. Additionally, I wish there was a way to update task progress directly from the Board view instead of having to click on each task individually.

The mobile app could benefit from some updates, but it appears to be improving regularly.

Initially, I was impressed by the app's layout and customization options. The aesthetic appeal was also a plus.

I found it extremely challenging to use. Although I'm very tech-savvy, my team members are not as comfortable with apps. I personally found it impossible to use, and the same sentiment was shared by my co-workers.

Occasionally, there are minor glitches. For instance, in the phone app, the text cursor in task comments often jumps back to the beginning of the text repeatedly. I attempted to convey this issue to the ClickUp team, but they didn't fully grasp my concern.

Impressive Integromat and Zapier connectors, along with the ability to make List View public for client reporting needs. The option to create and embed data in a ClickUp Doc allows for organized reporting accessible through a simple link.

Cons

I'm not necessarily seeking groundbreaking new features; I simply wish ClickUp would address existing issues and provide added benefits for enterprise-level customers like myself. The white-label feature is ineffective since it still displays the ClickUp loading icon. Using the software with any level of automation, whether with their tools or through Zapier/Integromat, is unreliable. Their support is unhelpful unless the issue is exceedingly simple to resolve.
