“Strong control over tasks and workflows”
Pros
ClickUp has been an excellent project management tool for handling tasks and workflows. It lets you build your own workflow and keeps everything organized so it's always clear what needs to get done and when. Having that level of structure makes it much easier to stay on top of work.
Cons
Being able to create and manage my task lists in it is very convenient but the platform can take some time to load because of the large number of task lists and folders. That delay gets pretty frustrating since you're stuck waiting before you can continue working.

Keeping track of assigned events is much simpler with this which makes project management a lot more manageable. The interface is user friendly and being able to add descriptions and extra details to tasks makes it a more dependable tool for organizing project work.

At times it can feel a bit complex because there are so many customization options available.

“Good task oversight but weak recurring tracking”
Pros
It's a really useful way to assign tasks and keep a clear overview of the work the team has completed.

Tracking recurring items with unique identifiers like episodic shows, is where it gets difficult.

“Better than Jira for marketing teams”
Pros
Compared with Jira, this seems much easier to use. It also comes with plenty of templates that you can copy and adapt for different marketing needs, from campaigns to larger project management.
Cons
One downside is that subtasks do not appear on the home page so collaboration takes a bit more planning and you have to think things through carefully when working with others.

“perfect for any team”
Pros
Getting project management, communication and documentation all in one tool for the price is a big plus. We use it across the company to document processes for the entire organization and the team really enjoys working with it.
Cons
The mobile app really misses the mark. I have installed it on my phone several times but each time I ended up deleting it again after just a few days.

“Flexible boards with strong task control”
Pros
Creating tasks, tracking them and setting priorities all work really well which is the feature that matters most to me. The board customization is also a big plus and gives a lot of flexibility.
Cons
It could feel a little faster at times in my opinion and merging tasks can be somewhat awkward.

“Packed with features and highly flexible”
Pros
One of the biggest reasons I enjoy using ClickUp is that it's free while still offering a lot of functionality. As a software engineer I am always exploring new markets and tools and this one has been very useful for managing my tasks and keeping notes organized. It comes with a variety of ClickApps that can be turned on or off depending on what you need which makes it feel very customizable. You can create tasks, reminders and events, then add all the helpful details you want. I also appreciate that it lets you switch between different layouts like Clean, Modern or Simple based on preference. Another really useful part is the homepage which automatically identifies the most important tasks from different projects and pulls them into one view so it's easier to stay focused on the work that matters most.
Cons
Getting started was not very straightforward because the learning curve felt pretty steep at first. There are so many options available that navigating through everything can sometimes be a bit overwhelming and it definitely takes a while to become comfortable with the system. On top of that the task timer kept acting up for me. About once a week, it would either track multiple things at the same time or completely miss tracking something that should have been recorded.

“Team task sharing finally done correctly”
Pros
The thing I like is that sharing tasks and responsibilities across teams and users is incredibly simple with this tool and it keeps everyone aligned on what's happening during the deliverable tracking stage.
Cons
Its process flow was a little confusing to understand at first but once everything clicked, it started to make a lot of sense and became really helpful.

“Flexible workflows that really boost productivity”
Pros
Being able to tailor the platform and switch between different workflow views has been excellent for the way I work. It's made me much more efficient and there are plenty of customization options to fit the specific kind of work you do.
Cons
The initial setup was a little challenging at first but the tutorial videos were really helpful and once I got the hang of it, everything became very straightforward.

“user friendly Gantt with very capable tools”
Pros
Compared with the other options I reviewed, this platform seems far more user friendly. The GANTT chart is especially helpful since I can hide weekends and link tasks together which makes adjusting task and project dates pretty easy. There are also plenty of extra tools included, plus what looks like a very decent library of how-to resources.
Cons
Since I work at a small company, our needs really are not all that extensive. I assumed I could manage with the free version but in my view it is extremely limited. It also feels like there is a huge amount of customer support at the beginning but once you move to a lower-tier paid plan, that level of service seems to disappear.

Pros
Coming from Smartsheet, this one seems like an upgrade. I am really enjoying it right now especially for collaborating and managing tasks with my coworkers.
Cons
One thing I have noticed is that notifications can be a bit delayed although that might just be due to where I am located.

“Loaded with excellent task management features”
Pros
ClickUp covers just about every feature you could want in a project and task management tool. It also lets you build plenty of automations which is a big help for organizing work.
Cons
With so many features packed in, it can be pretty easy to lose track of things and end up with a huge list of incomplete tasks. It takes consistent project management and teammates who actually close out finished tasks to keep everything under control.

“Versatile views for every type of workflow”
Pros
One of the best parts of ClickUp for me is having so many view options since everyone works in a different way. I usually stick with the list view, while one of my partners likes the card view much better. When I am mapping out a project, being able to switch to Gantt or Timeline views is really helpful. Our third partner is a big fan of the mind map because it helps her see the bigger picture more clearly. We also rely on the Notes view for meeting minutes and keep a dedicated page with all the links we need for day to day work.
Cons
It does get a little buggy from time to time although it doesn't happen often and the team is usually quick to fix it. The initial setup can also feel a bit overwhelming but once everything is in place, it absolutely feels worth the effort.
