“Customization works great for agencies”
Pros
Running a digital marketing agency means juggling a lot of moving parts and I have not come across another similar platform that offers this much customization and automation. I'd absolutely recommend it to marketing and production teams.
Cons
There's definitely a bit of a learning curve but that comes with having so many customization options. Overall it's still very user friendly and not too hard to pick up. Setting up workflows and processes for your specific team can take a little time as well but that's really because the platform gives you so many ways to build things. Once you figure out how you want to organize and automate your work, it works really well.

“best looking interface I have seen”
Pros
Compared with other tools I have used, this one has the best UI by far. Even with how much the platform includes, everything is laid out in a really nice and organized way.
Cons
At the same time the UX can be pretty difficult for the average person to understand at first.

“Packed with useful task features”
Pros
Packed with features especially the hierarchical task structure and recurring tasks which make planning and organizing work much more manageable.
Cons
Task ordering doesn't always save correctly, there are some overall stability problems and the interface can feel overly complex at times.

“Lots of team friendly features here”
Pros
ClickUp adapts really well to different workflows so it can be customized around what you need and what your team needs too. Also it is nice that a lot of features are available even in the free version.
Cons
One thing that wasn't very accurate was how project progress was calculated. Subtask progress showed up correctly but when a project had a lot of subtasks and some contained more work than others, the overall project progress did not reflect that properly.

“useful integrations”
Pros
Setting up a project is quick and I can organize everything in whatever format works best for me, whether that's list view, boards or a calendar. It's also really useful for collaboration since tasks can have assignees, comments and attachments all in one place. Having start and end dates on tasks helps keep deadlines visible and makes it easier to stay on track with what needs doing. On top of that the integrations are a big plus, with options like Slack, Dropbox and Zapier adding a lot of value.
Cons
At the same time it doesn't really feel all that different from a lot of other tools in this space. The integrations are strong and the pricing is reasonable but some other platforms offer more features at no cost. That said it really depends on your use case because the automations can still be very useful in the right setup.

“Integrations really help team work”
Pros
It reminds me of IFTTT but taken much further. The platform is advanced and smart, while still being simple enough for beginners to pick up without much trouble. Its integrations make collaboration with a team feel much more hassle free and it almost seems like there's less work to do since you usually don't have to jump into other tools and interrupt your workflow.
Cons
The one area that feels a bit underdeveloped is the notification system. It doesn't always deliver alerts in real time the way I expected, although I assume that's something they'll improve in a future update.

“Gives a nice productivity lift”
Pros
Bringing different tools together in one place has been really convenient. It's an excellent platform for boosting productivity and organizing tasks is very hassle free. The free plan is also a huge plus for startups especially since it's available for a lifetime.
Cons
At this point I really have not come across any major downsides. If I had to point out one thing, it would be that the automation system could be a bit simpler to understand.

“Packed with features and flexible”
Pros
There are tons of features and customization options in this software which is something I really like.
Cons
Because it offers so many features, it can feel a little overwhelming when you're new to it. It would help if the free version had fewer options to start with or if there were a more detailed walkthrough since it currently feels like you're just dropped into it and expected to figure things out. There's definitely a learning curve. I'd also like the ability to delete my account or workplace directly in the app instead of having to email support to get that done.

“Dependencies keep projects moving forward”
Pros
One feature we rely on most is task dependencies. Instead of manually dragging cards around, we can just mark a task as completed and the next person in line gets notified to jump in. That's honestly the biggest reason we use it since our projects are large and we don't always have time to manage every small detail by hand.
Cons
The part that hasn't worked well for us is the Gantt chart feature. It's not very user friendly so we ended up using another project management tool for that. At this point we mostly use it for organizing projects.

“Great value and plenty features”
Pros
The software is easy to use, it comes with a ton of features and the price seems really fair for everything it's capable of doing.
Cons
At times it loads slowly and it's possible to accidentally close a task twice which can move the due date a month ahead without noticing. It also needs frequent refreshing.

“Good tools for project planning”
Pros
It works really well for project management and planning out workflows.
Cons
One major letdown is the complete lack of customer support. We had a problem tracking a project and even after reaching out several times for help, we never got any response at all.

“Keeps getting better with updates”
Pros
ClickUp has been really simple to get started with and tailor to the way my team works. The pricing is very fair for everything that's included and the interface looks clean and visually appealing. Onboarding was easy too, customer support has been excellent and I like that new features are being added all the time. The feature request system is also a big plus and the platform keeps getting better every day.
Cons
A few features still feel like they're being fully built out but the development team seems focused and moves quickly. When users suggest improvements or request new functionality, updates tend to roll out on a regular basis.

“Great hub for team planning”
Pros
This has been a really powerful platform for my team and me. We use it to track tasks, brainstorm ideas, build documentation, manage content calendars, handle planning and share tasks and documents with clients. It also comes with plenty of other features that we're still discovering as we go which says a lot about how much it offers.
Cons
Getting a handle on how to organize the workspaces can feel a bit overwhelming for some users. In my case, I had to sign up for the University site to understand a few features. The issue was that the tutorials already showed different workspaces filled with sample information but they did not really explain how to build that setup from scratch. Luckily, I came across a few YouTube videos that broke it down clearly using simple, everyday analogies.

“Visual planning works really well”
Pros
One of the most useful parts is the feature set especially the ability to turn a project's task list into a mind map. It gives a clear visual view of the work and makes planning much more user friendly.
Cons
The platform gets updated very often and there are still visual glitches at times. Sometimes a task I create does not appear right away and only shows up after refreshing the page.

“Teamwork and control done well”
Pros
Keeping track of both my work and my team's work was excellent with this software. I could clearly see who was responsible for what and everything stayed organized and neat. It helped us keep things moving on schedule and I also appreciated being able to create tasks for the team with objectives, descriptions and all the details needed to complete the work properly.
Cons
Honestly, there wasn't much to complain about. If I could change one thing, it would be the page design. It already offers a clear and simple view of projects but I still think the layout could be made even more organized.

“Team collaboration actually delivers results”
Pros
Working with different teams is really convenient in ClickUp and setting up tasks is easy. Once everything is in place, it's simple to keep an eye on progress over time and stay on top of what's moving forward.
Cons

“Loaded with helpful productivity tools”
Pros
Among all the productivity apps I have tried, this one is by far the most feature packed. It includes pretty much everything you could want in a project management tool like boards, lists, calendars, estimation tools and time tracking. It works across multiple platforms and the iOS and Android apps are excellent too. You can connect it with your Gmail account and calendar and it also lets you import tasks from other tools such as Asana, Todoist and Jira. The integration options are strong overall and the platform keeps improving all the time.
Cons
At this point I really don't have any complaints about the product. I'd definitely recommend using it in different situations, whether for personal projects or within other organizations and that's exactly what I try to do.
