“Does a great job tracking projects”

Pros

Using ClickUp to log hours across my projects has been really helpful. The interface is simple and easy which makes working in the app efficient. I really appreciate how it tracks my progress, lays out every task that still needs attention, lets me collaborate with my team and gives me the ability to monitor each task within every project separately. That makes it much easier to stay on top of everything that everyone involved needs to complete.

Cons

One thing I am not a fan of is the number of promotional emails the company sends. That's really my only complaint about it.

Putting projects together in ClickUp is really easy which makes getting work organized much faster.

At the beginning the interface can seem a bit overwhelming until you get used to it.

As a small business this turned out to be exactly the system we needed to organize our work and prioritize tasks properly. It really fit what we were looking for.

There is definitely a learning curve and getting it set up and fully implemented takes real commitment. It also works best when the whole team is willing to stay engaged and consistently put in the effort to keep everything updated.

it has been very user friendly and the pricing makes a lot of sense especially with premium features you can unlock as your business expands. It offers really strong communication tools for both team collaboration and B2B work and it does a good job of keeping your entire operation organized in a way that stays highly accessible.

Cons

I really have not run into any major downsides. The only issue is that things can get a little confusing when files aren't clearly labeled or stored properly though that feels more like a user-side problem than a fault with the software itself.

Starting out is free which makes it possible to explore the features before committing.

It's hard to immediately see the full value because there's a lot to go through.

This app has been the biggest win because it replaced several different tools I used to manage projects.

One thing I did not like was not being able to upgrade only a few extra users on a contract to the Business plan for admin access. It would also be really helpful to have a support chat especially for new users.

The way everything is set up makes teamwork work really well especially when multiple users need to collaborate across all tasks at the same time.

There are still a few sync bugs between users and I have noticed some performance slowdowns on servers in South America. That said the team seems to be actively improving both the bugs and the performance on a weekly basis.

Using it is not a hassle since it's basically drag and drop. Creating a task is really simple and even the free version comes with a lot of features included.

Cons

It's very user friendly and the platform is clearly well built and thoughtfully designed for managing tasks.

Task organization is one of the best parts for me especially with the way everything is arranged by status and the number of columns available for each piece of work. I use the time-tracking tool every day to help estimate project completion dates and it also makes coordinating tasks with multiple participants really simple.

Cons

Getting familiar with the platform took quite a while because it took me a long time to sort out several issues. One thing that stood out after thinking about it was the online status indicator such as a green dot can show up on someone's profile even when they are not using it, while people who actually are active sometimes appear to be offline.

Its simple design, attractive interface and overall convenience are what convinced us to adopt it for project management especially for activities and projects that need close monitoring and strong attention to detail. One of the best approaches has been customizing the project database so the whole team can work together on developing and editing workflow diagrams. I really like that it gives us excellent project management features along with plenty of collaboration tools. We can set up a project board and begin adding activities right away since it lets us create realistic plans where everyone can contribute tasks, dates, dependencies between activities and comments. It also provides several task schedule views that we can manage as needed. Team members are able to update tasks and keep everyone else informed. Its automation tools automatically adjust dates for upcoming tasks based on the current project status and previous activities. The reports and dashboard are also very helpful for tracking project progress and identifying any issues.

Cons

There honestly were not many drawbacks for me to point out because it is user friendly and handles a lot of project management needs quickly including team communication, task updates and generating reports that capture all project changes. The only real limitation is that it does not handle large-scale projects with multiple WBS layers and thousands of activities very well. It works wonderfully for smaller projects with a limited number of tasks.

Right from the start I find the platform user friendly and if you're comfortable with tech, it's pretty quick to figure out and start using right away.

One issue I have run into is with task reminders. At times reminders for a specific task need to be created through the calendar instead of directly in the program. If the reminder on that task doesn't automatically sync to your calendar, you end up not getting the notification.

One of the biggest strengths is how well it integrates with tools and apps from other companies which really helps boost productivity. It also makes it possible to tailor the dashboard around the team's workflow and the specific needs of each project so the platform feels both practical and powerful. On top of that the team keeps introducing new ideas and services regularly which makes the software feel like it's constantly improving.

Cons

The only part that gave me trouble was the automation feature. It took some trial and error to understand and without a preview option, it was hard to see the effect it would have before applying it to the main project management pipeline.

Using this software on both PC and mobile has been very convenient and the interface is quite user friendly which I really liked.

I wasn't able to manage micro-tasks effectively in this software.

It gave me most of what I needed to stay coordinated with my virtual assistant and keep track of tasks, time and overall progress effectively.

Well I still needed a few more features especially something like an inbox for communication and I couldn't find a quick or instant way to handle that.

Having 10+ features available in one place is the biggest advantage for me. The software is also organized really well so everything is clearly laid out and convenient to use.

One thing it still needs is a larger FAQ section since many of the most important questions are not covered there. I assume that may be why they offer live video chat support instead.
