There really haven't been any drawbacks at all. Getting our more senior personnel to adopt FreshBooks initially was the only challenge we faced. However we did our best to train them on the software and ultimately had to force them to use it.

Using FreshBooks on the phone has significantly improved efficiency allowing realtime data input invoice creation and payment before leaving clients.

To be honest there haven't been any cons. The only hard part was in the beginning with FreshBooks getting our older employees to use it was hard. But we trained them and honestly just forced them to adopt the software. It's been no problem ever since.

Freshbooks also offers a variety of invoicing options and a builtin time tracking feature making it easier for businesses

If you are a small business or startup then Freshbooks can work for you but for large and complex accounting you need to upgrade as it cannot handle complex inventory management.

Simple for very small enterprises and freelancers with all plans including time tracking and excellent invoicing options.

The highesttier Select plan only includes two users and lowertier plans limit the number of billable clients. The Lite plan which is the least priced lacks bank reconciliation capabilities accountant access and doubleentry accounting reports. Accountants regardless of plan cannot access the whole audit trail.

The time tracking feature in FreshBooks makes it easy to track hours for projects and include them in invoices enhancing professionalism.

The one area I have noticed that Freshbooks needs improvement is how it relates to bank accounts and monitors expenses. It will sometimes duplicate outgoing transactions and also when we transfer money from one account to another it will treat it as an expense and not just as a money movement which incurs an accounting cost each year.

Freshbooks suspended my account been using it for two years with the same cc there is money in the account... They ran my cc on the weekend and suspended my account on the weekend but they are not open on the weekends and can't talk to anyone. Need to send out invoices can't run my business like that going to go with another company.
