Cons

FreshBooks is a good program but one aspect that I'm not a fan of is the second-factor authentication. It asks if you want to remember your device and save your information but even if you click yes it doesn't actually save your device. As a result it requires two-factor authentication every time even if you turn off the second layer of security. This can be frustrating but if that's how FreshBooks operates then I guess that's how it works.

There's not much to dislike; I simply don't need another feature.

The limitations on the number of users and clients are the only downsides. Other than that everything is interesting and cool.

FreshBooks' simplicity has greatly improved my workflow. It effortlessly handles tasks like tracking receipts managing expenses invoicing clients and storing invoices. The automated invoice sending feature allows me to focus on my work while the system takes care of sending invoices.

Cons

I disliked the fact that many features are behind paywalls and require upgrading to the next tier. While this might be acceptable if I primarily used the invoicing feature considering the price it seems odd that more features aren't included.

The process of creating invoices is exceptionally easy and visually appealing. The platform's ability to track various transactions including time tracking billing and payments in one place is highly convenient. Although it may take some time to get accustomed to the overall usability is smooth.

Unfortunately the software falls short in terms of double-entry accounting. I encountered difficulties with the time-tracking plugin after an update and I wish the reporting feature had seen more improvements.

At times the application experiences prolonged downtime which negatively affects our clients' business. This might require additional customer support during those periods.

The security features and the ability to fetch and update data could use more attention to make those parts feel more reliable and complete.
