What I dislike most about this software is the limited English language user manual the absence of intra-project time tracking poorly handled recurring project budgets difficulty carrying over customer balances to new invoices and the inability to integrate with QuickBooks.

However as functionalities were gradually removed I made the switch to FreshBooks specifically designed for small service-based businesses. With built-in features like recurring billing time tracking and payment processing FreshBooks proved to be an effortless and efficient solution. Setting up the software took only two hours and the overall experience was excellent. FreshBooks truly empowers business owners to focus on running their operations smoothly.

This software falls short on the accounting side. If you're familiar with QuickBooks you know the importance of double-entry accounting in-depth reporting with punchouts and a quick profitability dashboard. FreshBooks lacks these features and you'll need an accountant's help at the end of the year. We had to rebuild our system because FreshBooks doesn't support a cash-based accounting system.
