Absolutely love how much control it gives you over invoicing for clients especially the customization options. The invoicing system is simple to work with too.

Cons

Only downside I've run into is that the payment plan has a cap on the number of clients it supports. I'd personally want the plan to include room for more clients.

Honestly there's nothing here that stands out as better than other billing tools.

If you try to attach a multi-page PDF to an invoice, the system only includes the first page... and the attachment comes out blurry and low quality. Sending invoices also feels dated because team members have to coordinate using a single shared signature in emails. Customer support has been a letdown as well, calls never get answered. Also, the Invoice Details report is missing the reference field which is a key piece of information for any invoice.

The app's front-end UI is pretty simple and that's exactly what I needed. Not every task requires fancy graphs, charts or tables. After logging in, I can quickly see who owes me and who's already paid. It also lets me create invoices without waiting for heavy visuals just to confirm someone still owes us money. One standout feature is converting an estimate straight into an invoice and then sending it out right away. It's basically three clicks from estimate to getting paid.

Cons

One thing that bothers me is the invoice image upload. When multiple users create invoices and estimates, whatever image was uploaded last tends to become the default image for all subsequent invoices and estimates, unless you manually take it out.

Pros

Feels really adaptive to use and I genuinely like how the invoicing ties into payment options. The instant links make it simple for customers to pay and there are plenty of other helpful features for running a business. Overall, it's a solid all-around tool for managing day-to-day business needs.

Cons

It would be even better if it integrated with more systems.. especially tools like HighLevel and other CRMs. That said, everything else has been working well and I'm hopeful those integrations get added in the future.

Navigation is simple and entering data takes very little effort. Pricing is also budget-friendly for the accounting system. Once all the information is added and the expense accounts are connected, using it day to day feels smooth. I can run my reports and prepare tax documents in seconds. One thing I'd love to see is more visual customization options for invoices and estimates within the tool but overall it delivers excellent value compared to alternatives like QuickBooks.

Everything feels solid on desktop though the mobile app doesn't perform as well as it should.

Creating recurring invoices is simple and running them automatically against customer credit cards saves a ton of time. This tool has really changed how we handle recurring services and payments for our business.

Using it for bookkeeping has been simple and I'm able to integrate my payroll as well. I did run into a few questions when setting up the payroll part and making sure it connected properly with Gusto and my bank. An account manager reached out and walked me through getting everything configured. She also connected me with their team in the payroll support team. Both of them jumped on a Zoom call and helped me finish the setup which made the whole process feel very well supported. Overall, it was a great experience.

Invoice services and Paytm payment features work really well for me and everything feels simple when I'm sending or paying through the app.

The one area that needs improvement is the invoice history, it's not as clear or complete as it should be so tracking older invoices takes more effort than it should.

Freshbooks is so user-friendly for bookkeeping and integrating my payroll was a breeze. When I had questions about setting up payroll and linking it with Gusto and my bank my Freshbooks account manager [sensitive content hidden] was amazing. She guided me through everything and even connected me with [sensitive content hidden] from payroll support. We had a productive Zoom call and they helped me get everything sorted. What a fantastic experience!
