“Helpful support but limited features”

The customer service team really stands out, responses are quick and they're reachable anytime by phone or email. They genuinely take the time to help when questions come up.

Cons

A lot of the features you'd expect aren't included in the lite version so you quickly hit limitations and end up feeling blocked by what's missing.

Pros

Was hunting for a cheaper alternative to QuickBooks and this solution ended up fitting the bill! It's surprisingly similar to QuickBooks and the interface feels genuinely user friendly. Once I'm able to take the time to get everything organized, I'm planning to switch over to it. QuickBooks has basically held a monopoly for a long time and their pricing keeps climbing which makes it tough for small businesses to stay on budget.

Cons

I've only used the free trial so far so I'm still working out the details before fully moving over. There was a hiccup when sending hours so I could get paid through an invoice. The invoice setup felt a bit stiff and didn't give me flexibility with changing rates. My contractors are paid different amounts depending on the class but the system only let me choose between being paid hourly, per job or just paid, then it required me to set the rate, without any way to apply multiple rates for different categories.

Online platform includes almost everything a mid-level business would typically need. You get accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, payroll management and tax management. Since it works on Windows, Mac and Android, it's also simple to use from anywhere.

Cons

It is still doesn't have an offline version for Windows or Linux which sometimes is a bit uncomfortable in places where internet access is unreliable. Also, governmental accounting isn't supported, unlike QuickBooks which offers a governmental accounting module.

Really like how quickly you can switch between clients to track the time you're working on different projects.

Recurring billing setup and clear reporting have genuinely helped me level up my business. The whole process feels simple both for me and for my clients and getting started didn't take any real effort, there was basically no learning curve since I'd already used a few other billing tools before.

Cons

Would be great to have a more solid set of levels and more efficient accounting features because the current way it handles things isn't really my favorite.

Tracking and managing cash flow transactions in it feels simple. The system is dependable for keeping tabs on every organization expense. I also appreciate how simple it is to generate custom financial reports and dashboards with the tool.

Honestly there's nothing I can point out as a downside.

Creating and sending customized invoices through it feels easy and quick. It also makes it simple to generate custom accounting reports without a lot of hassle. I can keep my books organized and manage my accounts cleanly using the tools it provides.

I really liked that it supports monthly billing packages and will flag you if you go beyond the hours you set so you can issue an extra invoice right away. Honestly this is the only tool I've seen that handles that overage/invoice workflow this way.

Cons

The accounting features don't feel as strong as they should. It's not very efficient on the accounting side but it covers the basics for businesses that don't require advanced accounting functionality.

Pros

Biggest win with it for me is the ability to create and customize invoices. The interface is also really polished and easy to design to match how I work. Also, it integrates with PayPal which makes getting paid much simpler. Customer support has been excellent whenever I've needed help.

Cons

Honestly there isn't much to complain about. If anything, I'd just like to see the invoice layout options improved a bit.

It has been really user-friendly, the pricing feels fair and it includes more services and features than I've even had time to explore yet. It's helped me ramp up without feeling overwhelmed.

I don't have any real complaints about the software itself. Since I'm still learning the accounting side, I occasionally need guidance when building a report for something specific to how I work. I'm also unsure who to reach out to explain my exact requirement and check whether there's a solution built in, more of a learning curve issue than a problem with the tool

Do wish the subscription tiers were spaced out more clearly and that the payment, receiving tools and other accounting features weren't tied to the tier system in quite the same way.

When it's set up and used correctly, it covers pretty much everything a small company or startup needs for invoicing and other day-to-day tasks.

The only real downside is the cost. Pricing is on the higher side so it may not feel like the best fit for everyone.
