Since FreshBooks is its own accounting platform it doesnt integrate easily with QuickBooks which most CPAs use. Managing two platforms can be cumbersome.

Its easy to use offers numerous integrations is affordable and does its job well (when it works).

Theres a lack of features rudimentary features cumbersome workflows and tons of bugs. The support is extremely unresponsive with requests going unanswered for weeks. The lack of support severely impacts what could otherwise be a good product. Unfortunately youll likely need support often due to bugs and inadequate documentation. Id advise steering clear of this product.

The time tracking feature is straightforward and efficient helping me stay organized and understand where my time is spent. The dashboard and clientproject tracker are also invaluable tools.

Ive experienced some downtime and backend coding issues causing errors. Unfortunately Ive had to manually track my time and enter it afterward. Also Ive had trouble with my CIBC account blocking the software and I havent received assistance despite asking. More options for listing billable items on invoices would be helpful as I often need to manually adjust line items. Ive also struggled with marking expenses paid when adding them manually to an invoice.
