Pros

FreshBooks functionality and ease of use rival that of more well-known billing systems.

Cons

The software functions well but Id like to manage more than five clients without needing to upgrade my plan.

Its incredibly simple to use and its features are excellent with some being absolute necessities.

Cons

Nothing particularly stands out but the admin area can sometimes be slow as if its overloaded.

Its effortless to use I can bill clients within minutes and track whether theyve viewed my invoice before payment.

Cons

Customer service operates on EST and takes 24 hours or one business day to respond. For a company of their size they should consider outsourcing inquiries and implementing live chats for quicker support.

I'm able to keep all my recipes and client details neatly stored in it which really comes in handy when tax season rolls around. My bookkeeper appreciates it too, It saves time during tax prep. Beyond that, the support team has been genuinely pleasant to work with whenever I need help. Accepting online payments is simple and uploading receipts is also quick. Even though I'm not great at organizing, it makes it much easier to stay on top of everything.

Cons

No real downsides come to mind. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a simple way to track and manage their transactions.

In my observation, it does take some time to learn but you can understand how it works after a bit.

Cons

The lower-tier plan caps the number of clients you're allowed to have and that restriction feels completely ridiculous. Also, their invoicing sometimes has bugs, occasionally I'll lose edits I made to an invoice after it's updated.

Ive been a fan of FreshBooks for years initially drawn to its simplicity. As my business grew I found its services indispensable especially the invoicing feature which I highly recommend.

Cons

Honestly I cant find a single thing to complain about.

Works really well for anyone who isn't deeply into accounting. It covers the basics we need, we use it mainly for creating invoices and tracking time. Setup for payment options was simple and it's also simple to check a client's account status.

Cons

Dont have any complaints, everything matches what we expected from the tool.

What caught my attention initially was its integration with other software like Gmail. Additionally its fast invoicing and seamless expense management are commendable.

We were fond of the original version but were reluctantly pushed into the new version.

Unfortunately its unreliable due to frequent outages. The new version is buggy and sluggish relying heavily on unnecessary JavaScript animations.

Setting up and using it is straightforward much simpler and cheaper than competitors.

There have been frequent outages and transitioning to the new FreshBooks has been a nightmare. The design lacks information density and critical details often get lost.

The previous Classic edition was efficient and intuitive. However the New version while visually appealing lacks the same ease of use.

Cons

Despite its attractive appearance the New version has become cumbersome to use. The platform is sluggish navigation is more complicated and invoicing errors are common. The switch to the New version has been a disaster overshadowing its appealing interface.

Pros

Its a great tool for those not deeply versed in accounting. We primarily use it for invoicing and time tracking with effortless setup for payment options and client accounts.

Cons

I have no complaints about this tool it meets all our expectations.

Pros

We were already using it since the beginning and we were basically pushed to switch from the older version. The original worked for us so the change was frustrating right from the start.

Cons

This version doesn't perform reliably at all-site outages happen often. It also feels buggy and it leans heavily on JavaScript even for animation features which ends up making everything sluggish.

Pros

Setting up clients and creating invoice templates is seriously simple. Once everything's in place, it's a fast way to generate invoices for our customers without spending ages on setup each time.

Cons

No issues have shown up for me so far, I haven't found any faults with the software.

Setting up new clients and invoicing them with online payment options is effortless. The user-friendly interface minimizes client queries and the companion app is handy for on-the-go tasks.

Cons

Its a minor annoyance but I wish Id be notified when I reach the client limit before attempting to add a new one.

Initially overwhelming especially when exploring all available features but the effort pays off.

I really like how quickly I can set up a new client, generate an invoice and give them the option to pay online. The client side is also super simple so I rarely get questions like "where do I enter my credit card details again?" I also appreciate the companion app. It isn't just a scaled-down version of the website. It's lighter in features but it still includes everything I need when I'm out and about.

Cons

Wish the dashboard would let me know when I've hit the maximum number of new clients for my account before I try creating another. Right now I can enter the details, hit "submit" and only then it routes me to upgrade my plan. It's pretty frustrating. If they flagged the limit upfront, I could archive an older client first.
