“great invoicing workflow for startups”

Pros

Really fits a small service-based startup or agency. It covers the whole client workflow-... sending estimates, tracking project time, creating invoices, collecting payments and following up on satisfaction. It doesn't include a full CRM on its own but that's more about focusing on what it does best. If you need CRM features, it can connect with multiple CRMs through integrations. Setup is simple enough that you can get someone up and running with minimal training.

Cons

When picking this tool, it's worth thinking about how tightly you want CRM functionality to connect with invoicing. Solutions like Zoho CRM plus Zoho Invoice are more closely linked but they tend to take more initial setup and configuration.

It helps me and my team keep track of our income which has improved the organization's financial reporting a lot.

Everything about it works perfectly for me and I genuinely think every business should have something like this.

The software feels simple and makes payroll monitoring really convenient. Overall, it's a very solid tool and the integrations are genuinely impressive.

Occasionally, the email click-through doesn't work. Besides that hiccup, I'm completely satisfied.

Live client service support is a big win for keeping things moving. The workflow is automatable and the GUI stays pretty simple to use. It also connects reliably with bank accounts which makes reconciliation less of a hassle. There's project support built in, plus time tracking tools that help with keeping things organized.

Cons

Costs can rise fast especially once team members are added since they come with extra charges. Also, there's no quarterly tax impact feature that some teams might expect.

Pros

Everything feels very easy to understand and it's genuinely useful for daily bookkeeping. It handles multiple entry accounting work without much hassle. The tracking tools are excellent... especially the inventory tracking and the automatic mileage tracking. I also find it simple to locate and manage client records when needed.

Cons

Mobile experience could be better and customization options feel a bit limited. It also doesn't cover quarterly tax estimation in a way that fully matches my needs.

“Fantastic software”

Pros

Works well for what I need. It delivers a solid, distinctive double-entry accounting setup that's adaptive and user-friendly and it also helps generate accurate estimates and invoices. The app covers the essentials freelancers and small businesses look for, retainers, cost and time tracking, inventory tracking and even task management. Also, its iOS app includes automatic mileage tracking which has been a nice time-saver. Overall, it feels like a platform I can stick with for the long haul.

Cons

A couple things could use improvement, the dashboard could be more developed and invoice customization is somewhat limited. I also wish it offered quarterly tax estimates since that would be a helpful feature to have built into the software.

“Great for our team”

Pros

The whole setup feels really adaptive. Comparing accounting software can be tough because most tools just make sure the left and right sides of the books balance but this one goes further. It includes invoicing and the estimating feature stood out the most for me since it helps with forecasting and building out project quotes for specific clients. It's flexible enough for a small business and switching over from Quickens was simple, my accountant can work with both systems when they handle the summaries. I'm using it for our small farm and it's been working great so it's become a must-have for us.

Cons

Getting everything set up can take some effort and the dashboard could use a refresh to make frequently used functions easier to reach. Since dashboards matter so much, I'd expect it to improve over time. Quarterly taxes aren't included but that's fine for a tiny farm. If someone is trying to run a larger company, they may end up relying on both the software and their accountant. In my case, we already use an accountant as a protective measure which probably explains why I'm not missing it as much for the bigger firm side of things.

Pros

App feels simple to use and customer service has been really helpful. The mobile apps are well designed too, plus the invoice templates look attractive and make sending invoices much cleaner.

Cons

The only real downside I can see is that it feels like there are limited features compared to what some tools offer.

Adding or removing third-party apps has been a really solid feature for me. Report estimation also feels extremely simple and overall the app has been excellent.

On a few occasions, it has duplicated the same bank account.

Time tracking is really simple especially with the built in timer that's directly tied to a project. That setup has been super helpful for managing work across a range of clients.

UI feels fairly basic but that simplicity might actually be a plus for some workflows.

Nothing about it bothered me, I genuinely found it all working well.

Pros

Using it is simple and integration between my PC and mobile was easy. Being able to copy repetitive invoices and projects saved me a ton of time too. I also like that everything's available instantly, just a tap and I'm in.

Cons

The trial wrapped up faster than expected but the full version was absolutely worth it since I went ahead and purchased it.

Felt pretty simple to me.. and the customer service has been excellent. There's also a solid mobile app that fits well with day-to-day work and overall I'm really happy to have this software running in our company.

I haven't run into many problems with it. I'm not completely sure but that's the only thing that comes to mind.

There are a ton of features so anyone, beginner or advanced, can find something useful. The pricing options also really helped making it an easy purchase decision for supporting my business.

We're a nonprofit and we use this software to invoice our clients. Setting up all the terms and parameters is simple and the reporting features have been excellent for tracking what we need.

We haven't run into any downsides yet, after moving to their upgraded platform, their team helped with the conversion and everything went smoothly with no problems.

This is a standout app since it works as a payment processor with basically any card and it also lets you manage your business accounting. That gives it a real double purpose, handling transactions while keeping your records organized which is why I'm genuinely happy with it.

Cons

Setting up at the start can be a bit tricky, mainly because some terms aren't clear at first. Once you get past that, the rest of the experience feels excellent.

Genuinely, it is simple to use and it packs a lot of features that help manage day-to-day business tasks quickly. Customer support has been excellent whenever I needed help. I also really enjoy having a mobile app and the UI looks polished and eye-catching. It makes client invoices look professional and well-designed and the "Proposal" feature is a standout, being able to showcase your work, use a dedicated writing space and attach custom pictures makes proposals feel much more engaging.

Cons

There aren't many downsides but a couple things stand out. It limits access to only one user which can be restrictive if you work with a partner or team. Pricing is another point... while it's useful for small business management, it feels a bit more expensive than several other options out there.

Covers most of the accounting features a small business actually needs and the pricing feels affordable. I've been able to invoice quickly and even without a finance background, I was still comfortable handling the accounting side using this software.

Cons

It would be great if they could help with tax estimates automatically. I also wish one account could manage multiple businesses. There were a couple of integration hiccups along the way but their support team stepped in and resolved things well.

This software is packed with features and the invoicing workflow is easily the standout. It also cuts down the time spent on payment tracking. Accounting tasks feel simple and expense tracking is smooth when you're also running tax calculations. Since it's cloud-based, you can access everything from anywhere without being tied to one device.

Cons

Attaching documents to an invoice is the only thing that's been frustrating, there doesn't seem to be an option to attach files so that part doesn't work as expected. Everything else has been fine.

Sign-up was simple. Once I got in, it was fairly simple to navigate around and start learning how to use the software.

Cons

The amount of information felt uneven, there was too much content at times but not enough explanation in other spots. A more guided walkthrough or clearer step-by-step line would make it easier, instead of needing to read through a lot of material.
