“invoicing made simple”

Pros

Setting up and using it feels completely convenient and it's become my go-to for getting business designs and invoicing going automatically. It also plays nicely with other tools I'm already using. The big win is saving time, no more burning weeks on billing and chasing customers. Can generate invoices and send them out within seconds, plus it offers helpful suggestions, time tracking, client invoicing and lets me adjust costs for better financial reporting. Account tracking is simple too so I'm not putting extra effort into managing everything with the different account types day to day. The smart reporting features, combined with collaboration tools, make teamwork smoother overall.

Cons

It has built, In auto-checking and number validation to keep everything accurate and consistent. Since our transactions are already very precise, I haven't run into any real downsides.

“love the app”

Pros

Creating invoices and tracking time across multiple clients has been easy especially because I can automatically send each client a customized invoice that looks polished and professional. I'm also able to log and track expenses per client which saves a lot of manual work. The tool has been a big help when it comes to end-of-year tax reporting too. Also, the interface feels adaptive, even when you need to use more niche features and there are plenty of online help files available.

Cons

There's honestly very little to criticize here. I kept trying to come up with something but the latest software update fixed the few minor annoyances I had with the previous version.

Pros

I've noticed this software works as an implementation tool for my business. It lets me connect with linked clients right away and it helps support making money as well which makes using it feel more comfortable and productive.

Cons

Tried reaching out to other clients to sell our product but the follow through felt a bit challenging at first. I needed to push to get things confirmed quickly so the agreement terms, conditions and any compromises were clearly handled.

Pros

Using it has been really simple, from setup through day-to-day use. The customization options for invoices and estimates are a standout feature and make it simple to match what we need.

Cons

Doesn't seem to be a lot of space to expand or add additional modules later which could be limiting if your business grows and you start needing more tools.

“Great UI”

Pros

Overall it's pretty simple to use and the customer service has been genuinely helpful. The mobile apps are also something I actually enjoy using day to day and the UI design looks really polished. Invoice templates are decent too and there are quite a lot of integrations available.

Cons

Pricing is the only thing that comes to mind. It doesn't feel outrageous for me personally but I do think lowering it a bit could help. Some competing apps already have larger communities and while the feature set is strong, there's still room for extra improvements that could make it more appealing.

Pros

For small startup contracting companies with a handful of employees, it's a solid fit and comes with a lot of useful features. The pricing also feels affordable especially considering everything you get.

Cons

Linking it to my bank account and getting payments set up through it didn't go the way I expected, I couldn't get that part working properly.

Pros

Everything about it feels pretty solid. The client time tracking reports are excellent and it's very simple to add or remove third-party apps when needed.

Cons

I don't have any accounting background so at tax time I had to rely on others to make sure the reporting was perfect. Even so, it helped a lot in making the tax process feel more manageable and the mobile app is more interactive than I expected.

Pros

This software has been genuinely simple to use and feels versatile enough to fit just about any type of business. I can adapt it to different needs without it feeling limiting which makes the whole workflow more flexible overall.

Cons

There isn't anything I dislike about it.

Pros

Accounting for small businesses feels simple and it delivers solid results overall. The pricing is pretty affordable and the double-entry setup is both attractive and well put together. Customer support also stands out as one of the best around. Creating invoices is quick and simple which helps keep everything moving.

Cons

It can crash occasionally and it tends to get slow when handling larger amounts of information especially during loading.

Pros

Standout part is the solid client records and the genuinely pleasant user experience. Another big plus is that it supports double-entry accounting right from the start.

Cons

Invoice customization feels pretty limited which can be frustrating if you want more control over the details.

“I recommend it”

Pros

Time tracking is solid here, including a timer that puts me on the clock for clients whenever I need to. Also, it covers invoicing and payment tracking well so I'm not juggling multiple tools just to keep work and billing organized.

Cons

It would be even better if the timer could pop out into its own separate window. I often get requests like "take 20 minutes and research XYZ," and having a visual sense of time passing would help me avoid losing track and diving too far into the research. A countdown option with an audible alarm would also be a nice addition. A lot of my clients ask for hours per day so focus blocks that "ding" me back when the time's up... and remind me to check in, would make the whole workflow smoother.

It's super user friendly, the app looks really polished and the reporting features are genuinely impressive.

Cons

One thing missing is the ability to generate a manager's sales and invoicing reports individually from the main account.

Pros

Deployment is simple and it's simple to plug into the day-to-day activities of my consultancy. Getting it running didn't take much effort and it fits naturally into how we already work.

Cons

The time tracking part is confusing, it seems to mix up projects and clients which makes the results harder to interpret.

Time tracking, expense tracking and the dashboard have been exactly what I needed.

Cons

I've reached out a couple times and mentioned an improvement I'd still like to see, an option to automatically include the start and end times for a client's work directly on the invoice (for example, ABC Company 01-05-2020 2hrs 10, 03am-12, 03pm).

“works really well”

Pros

There are plenty of good things about this software. Creating invoices is simple and you can also process credit card payments for bills. The template customization options are a nice touch too, adding your brand logo and adjusting the template details is simple. Also, the collaboration tools let you work alongside your clients without much hassle.

Cons

A downside shows up when you start paying for add-ons-costs can get pretty high once you enable extra features for clients. It also has a tendency to crash while you're working which can be frustrating. Occasionally, manual entry feels a bit awkward and more work than it should be.

“reminders help alot”

Pros

I hadn't used any software for my business before... just an Excel sheet... but this is set up in a way that made it pretty simple to get going. It's genuinely helped organize my bookkeeping and I'm especially happy with the year, at-a-glance view of my income and expenses. The invoice reminders are also a lifesaver when something hasn't been opened or paid yet.

Cons

For a small business, the pricing feels a bit higher than I'd prefer.

This is pretty clean and simple to use. It's more than just an invoicing tool, It helps with tracking everything that comes in and what goes out which keeps day-to-day flow running smoothly.

Cons

Couple areas that could be improved. I started with small requests like more customization options for the invoice templates and now I'm also hoping for stronger tax integrations for Canada.

“responsive support”

Pros

I've really enjoyed jumping in and getting productive immediately without needing a bunch of setup. The Support page was also super helpful and I especially appreciate that when I get stuck, Customer Service is right there ready to help me out.

Cons

At least for where my business is right now, I'd love to see an integration with HoneyBook.

When I started using it, I wasn't sure if it would fit my workflow but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The platform is simple to use and packed with features that help a one-person business run more efficiently. Creating invoices is simple and I also get updates on whether someone has viewed the invoice. It also makes it convenient for clients to pay online.

Cons

Haven't noticed anything worth complaining about yet.

“affordable timesheets”

Pros

Love how quickly I was able to get it up and running, plus the pricing feels really affordable. The platform lets me track my hours and clients, generate bills and even get paid through the system. Since I'm a new business owner, it's been a solid investment that's already helping me stay organized.

Cons

No real downsides so far, I haven't run into any issues with it at the moment.
