App is refreshingly simple and it feels comfortable to use day to day. It also does the job effectively and the way the information is laid out gives a clear overview without any guesswork.

The tool is intuitive and user-friendly. It is great for invoicing and accounting. With the help of this tool my productivity has been enhanced. It is worth the monthly subscription.

Cons

The synchronization of data takes a lot of time and seems unstable as well. It has a limited use so having it on phone is futile.

Pros

UI is very user-friendly and it's been a convenient tool to use day to day. Customer support has also been excellent whenever I needed help. Access feels simple and low-effort which makes the whole experience smoother.

Cons

Monthly pricing feels a bit expensive. Also, the features and functionalities are somewhat limited for what you pay. Setup also takes longer than expected and there are additional charges per transaction. There's also a requirement to pay again after the second client which adds cost as usage grows.

Pros

The platform is really simple to use and it's clear how everything works behind the scenes. Payments integrate smoothly with PayPal in the classic version and recurring billing is handled well. Reporting is also quick to generate and simple to read which makes it easy to keep track of what's going on.

Cons

Doesn't integrate with PayPal in the new version yet which is a limitation if you're planning to switch over.

This tool tracks expenses for you and generates invoices. It is easy to send out invoices and it saves time of editing and all.

Cons

It has a monthly subscription, which I do not really like, and the pricing of this tool seems to be a lot for someone who is a freelancer or runs a small business.

It's simple to track time and generate invoices for clients. This ended up being the first system I actually liked because it lets me handle both tasks in one place.

“Best billing system”

Pros

The support is great, always responds and resolves our concerns and issues. Managing the client billing has been easy and without any issues or complaints. It is easy to use and understand the system workflow. Creating reports and reading them is easy to do.

Cons

The new version of this system does not integrate with PayPal, so we’re using the classic version of this tool.

“clean finance tracking”

Pros

Feels really simple to use and it's been a solid fit for managing our finances, plus sales and marketing activities. What we like most is how much better it helps us organize and manage our money in a more efficient way. It also stands out as the best accounting software we've worked with, handling our accounts without a hassle. The built in features are genuinely useful especially the ability to track all our income and expenses accurately which makes it a great all-around business tool for finance, sales and marketing.

Cons

Only hiccup we've noticed is during bank deposits... sometimes our payments don't land in the bank accounts smoothly for no clear reason. Aside from that, everything works well. Another limitation is that it doesn't always track very large batches of expenses as smoothly as we'd expect. Even with those occasional issues, it has still helped us run our business faster and more efficiently overall.

Love how efficient and solution-focused it feels for managing accounts. The invoicing system is solid and well-built and it's genuinely helped our team handle online payments more smoothly. The layout is user-friendly and the whole setup stays simple without getting in the way. I'd recommend it to serious self-employed people who want their bookkeeping to run better, along with stronger security for their account data. Overall, it's a must-have tool.

Cons

What I like least is the reminder layout. I'd like to see a more visible, insistent reminder plug, In so it catches my attention more often and keeps me on top of updates. Also, the color scheme feels a bit dull, I'd love a more dynamic palette and a more modern look.

“Helpful app”

Pros

I have to travel a lot for my business, and this app works great for me as I can check and send invoices even on the go. It is an application that runs on iOS which is great. I can also check whether the client got the invoice and checked it or not. Due to this feature no one can lie saying they never received an invoice, this helps us get timely payments, and no frustration.

Cons

Creating the financial reports are a bit dull.

Pros

Setup and day-to-day use were simple and any time I had a question, the FreshBooks "Rock Stars" team stepped in quickly to get me back on track. The how-to videos are genuinely helpful and the email tips are practical for running a small-to-medium business the way you want. There are a lot of features worth mentioning but the biggest plus is the free trial... so you can test things out and decide whether it fits without any upfront commitment. I also appreciate that they actually listen, if you suggest improvements, they pass it along to the development team and follow through. Replies sometimes take a little time but they always come and it feels good not to be ignored. Overall, I'd happily recommend it.

Cons

The only real hiccup I ran into was getting everything working and syncing properly with my iPad but I'm confident that it will handle it.

“best invoicing and reporting”

Pros

Honestly this is the top accounting software I've used. It covers invoicing, expense tracking, time tracking, estimates and project management, plus it can send automatic late payment notices. Payments are supported too-credit card, ACH and PayPal... and the reporting is solid for keeping everything organized. You can run everything solo or with a team and it works well on both desktop and mobile. Setup feels simple and onboarding new clients is quick which saves a ton of effort. Given the price, it's a real bargain and it frees up my time so I can focus more on design and serving my clients.

Cons

I genuinely can't think of anything I dislike. Coming from QuickBooks was rough but this program has been the complete opposite and much more manageable for me.

“perfect for small teams”

I'm an accountant at a fairly large company and we rely on it for invoicing. One feature that's been really convenient is the ability to record how much time you spend on each task. That matters a lot for coordinating with specialists who bill by the hour since it keeps everything clear and tied directly to the work being performed.

Cons

Mainly it fits client billing workflows so it doesn't cover full bookkeeping needs. You can't manage complete accounting in it because the essential tools for that aren't included.

“Good platform”

Pros

The software is pretty adaptive to use so you don't need an accounting background to track down what you're looking for. Making and publishing invoices is simple enough for anyone to handle. I also like having a default description line for products or services, with the option to tweak the wording on the fly whenever a situation calls for it. Also, the built in reporting features pull common information you typically need, without making you hunt around.

Cons

One improvement I'd love is that when you update a product/service name, it would be great if existing invoice line items could update too, rather than manually changing each item across every customer invoice. Also, when browsing a customer's invoice history, I'd prefer the final total at the bottom of the list to show the outstanding amount due, instead of only showing a combined total of all invoices (paid and unpaid). It would be useful to have the ability to create different invoice types or templates/layouts for customers who receive specific services... especially if you want to reflect special terms or adjustments. More report customization options would also be a welcome upgrade

This tool covers a lot of key finance workflows, things like invoicing, accounts payable, purchase orders, expense claims, reporting and time tracking. It definitely makes financial transactions feel more manageable and I also like the fact that you can settle payments using Visa, Mastercard or PayPal. Another helpful angle is staying connected with customers while handling accounting from anywhere and at any time.

Cons

Biggest letdown is pricing which feels too high. Reporting also doesn't come out as strong as expected. Also, payments can't be deposited directly into a bank account.

Has turned out to be a strong tool for businesses that need help with tracking work and handling invoicing. One standout feature is that it lets you see whether clients have opened the invoices you send which is really useful for staying on top of payments. It also cuts down on the usual paperwork headaches in the office. Also, invoices and other business reports are kept securely and organized so everything is easier to find later. Customer service has been dependable as well which made a difference when we had questions.

Cons

Getting it set up in our business took more effort than expected. We ended up needing technical support to get everything implemented properly. During the first few days, moving between features felt a bit tricky and it wasn't immediately simple to navigate.

Pros

It's a program with a really well-crafted, adaptive interface. I especially enjoy the attractive templates and the process for creating accounts is simple which also makes training new employees much more manageable.

Cons

I do wish there were a few more templates included. Compared to other similar tools, it's missing some helpful features. Also, in the latest version, third-party payment systems aren't available anymore.

There's also a solid set of features, estimates, team collaboration, automatic reminders and more, that help keep billing organized and on track. Overall, these tools make the invoicing workflow more efficient for day-to-day business.

Cons

Subscription options are a bit limited which can be frustrating if your business doesn't fit neatly into the available tiers. If you're not exactly in the "small" or "large" category, the pricing may feel off and you might miss out on some of the perks that come with higher plans.

This is honestly the best software option I've found for small businesses that want smarter business management. I was able to generate invoices and email them directly, plus handle accounting in a more organized way. Coming from manual invoicing and bookkeeping, the change was huge, everything feels much more organized.

Not really, this tool does so much well that it's hard to come up with anything to complain about.

Pros

App fits nicely into our invoicing process and handles payments smoothly. Everything feels fast, practical and highly adaptive which helps both our clients and the company owner feel confident using it. The reporting is excellent too and the ability to customize things is a big plus.

Cons

Every now and then it can take a bit longer to locate a specific invoice but it's not a dealbreaker.
