5 stars from me!

Pros

Brings a really massive set of features. It's essentially an all-in-one setup for accounting, invoicing and expense tracking. The invoicing side is especially strong, with customization options that are flexible enough to make sending invoices feel simple, while still letting you design them to your needs.

Cons

Upfront cost can feel a bit on the high side. That said, the capabilities you get still seem to line up well with what you're paying for.

easy to use

Pros

The software is simple enough to handle all my accounting needs and it keeps bill tracking up to date in real time. Customer support has been genuinely helpful and the user interface is clean and well designed. I also like having attractive templates to choose from which makes setup and organization feel a lot faster.

Cons

Main downside is that the user base feels pretty limited. Also, a few of the features I expected aren't included or are missing and the monthly pricing ends up feeling a bit expensive if you're not using everything.

real time billing is great

Pros

I'd recommend this tool to anyone running a small business or trying to grow from a side hustle. The interface is genuinely adaptive so even without much accounting background, I was able to get comfortable with it pretty quickly. It also integrates smoothly with other solid tools, Stripe and other payment apps included... so I spend far less time manually monitoring everything. Overall, it's been a great fit for my setup and I'd definitely suggest it to other small-business owners.

Cons

Because it's built specifically for small businesses, I'll likely need to switch platforms once my business expands beyond that stage.

Fantastic support

Pros

Biggest standout for me has been the customer support. Whether it's repetitive admin work or a more complicated requirement, the support team picks up quickly and stays focused on helping you finish what you need. It's also been a real improvement how payments are handled... especially with the Advanced payment feature. Even though there's an extra charge, it has changed how our business stores and processes payments thanks to their PCI-compliant setup.

Cons

What's shifted in a negative direction is the tool moving away from keeping its older, more humble options available. Long-time small businesses and individuals can't rely on their legacy accounts as much as before and that feels like a rough cultural move. It also makes it harder to recommend it to brand-new startups since there's an added cost on top of the learning curve. A free tier would go a long way toward supporting businesses that are still getting off the ground.

Clean UI

Pros

It fits small-scale businesses really well and it's pretty simple to use thanks to a clean, user-friendly, good-looking interface. Once you're comfortable with the basics of accounting, you can manage things without needing a dedicated accounts person. The third-party app integrations also make it convenient to both receive and send payments. Also, it works across multiple platforms so it's usable when you're out and about. Between the project features, estimates and reporting, it covers most of what you'd need to track and evaluate your financial goals in one place.

Cons

In our case, we were able to handle the majority of accounting tasks without much trouble. That said, results may vary depending on the type of business and setup. Still, they do have a support team that generally responds with solutions quickly when you need help.

Easy expense tracking

Pros

Keeping up with invoicing and expenses can become a real headache when you're running a small business. I was spending more and more time on paperwork and trying to stay on top of receipts. It fixed a lot of that for me. The system isn't confusing to use and it includes templates for pretty much every invoice type I've needed. Expense and time tracking are also very simple. There's an Android app in addition to the web app which is a big plus since this is the kind of tool you want available whenever you're on the go.

Cons

Nothing specific comes to mind.

stylish interface

Pros

Interface feels really polished... stylish, clear and simple. It also works well across different needs, one person on my team uses it for time management, while others use it for accounting and writing reports. I appreciate that there's a real support service behind it with knowledgeable people, messages don't get dragged out with lots of talk, they look at screenshots and apply the fix right away.

Cons

The plan's limit (up to 500 customers) is a bit tight, we could use more capacity. Also, over the two years I've been using it, a few useful tools and features disappeared. That's left me wondering why those changes were made.

Good accounting suite for teams

Pros

Offers a solid profile setup where you can register either as a company or as an individual. Beyond that, you get sections like Dashboard, clients, invoices, expertness, estimates, time tracking, projects, my team and my reports. The app layout feels pretty user-friendly so it works well for different kinds of startups, digital markets and even non-finance small business owners. It also avoids the usual complexity you see in traditional accounting tools and it can be designed to the specific needs of your business. The team management and time tracking features, along with the reporting area, make it a useful option for decision makers. Even if you're not a finance person, the platform still covers the main accounting workflows and you can access everything remotely.

Cons

Didn't notice much depth in support for current assets or inventory management which is important for startups using accounting software. Also, there's no option to customize the report section.

Quick setup

Pros

It was extremely simple to get set up and tweak to fit how I run my business. Within a little under two hours, I had automatic expensing, time tracking across my different services and electronic payment options enabled for my clients. Creating invoices takes almost no effort and it instantly makes my small business look far more professional. The time and stress I've saved with it feels like it more than justifies the low monthly fee.

Cons

User friendly setup can sometimes feel a bit limiting, canceling recurring expenses or invoices, for instance, isn't always immediately clear. Also, the mobile app doesn't include as many features as the web version. It hasn't been a deal breaker for me but if you rely on your phone while working, it could be a little disappointing.

Smart reminders

Pros

So fantastic for me, it's doing exactly what it claims. The invoicing flow is simple and managing getting paid feels a lot less stressful. Payments are flexible too since you can get paid through Stripe, PayPal, ACH and more. It also sends reminders when invoices are coming due which helps keep everything moving. The dashboard is really clean and gives a clear view of what's been paid versus what's still outstanding.

Cons

So far, nothing really stands out as something I dislike. It's a really solid service for freelancers and small to mid-sized business owners.

app is good

Pros

My favorite part is how simple it is to accept online payments. It also makes it simple to review both past and paid invoices and keep track of other related details right from the platform. Also, the mobile app runs really well and fits smoothly into day-to-day use.

Cons

No real downsides to call out. Everything has been working fantastically and it keeps rolling out new, interesting features over time which makes using it more enjoyable.

solid support

Pros

Feels simple to use and it genuinely cuts down a lot of time on bookkeeping. Also, it's one of the few tools I've seen that also offers reasonably decent project management, not just accounting features.

Cons

Transition to their new upgraded software caused a lot of problems. Several useful features disappeared without any clear heads-up and the updates they promised have been delayed for months. For instance, user-specific roles are gone, now employees can't create estimates unless they have full access to all accounting information. They also removed the option to include a customer account statement with each invoice. I tried working with support to find workarounds but the only solution they offered was to charge us for a second account just to link things to the existing one. The frustrating part is that we're already paying for these capabilities and they were taken away as part of the "upgrade." They've claimed the changes were based on what users requested but we definitely didn't ask to lose those features. What we wanted was help creating a workaround and they said it was within their power, they just want us to pay extra for the fix.

very effortless to use

Pros

I've used it since I started freelancing and even after growing to close to a dozen employees, it's still been holding up really well. I particularly like how quickly it lets me generate invoices and it's not hard to get started... someone who's never touched it before can usually begin working within a couple of days. Having a mobile app makes a big difference too since I can monitor income and expenses on the go, even when I'm not in the office which has been genuinely valuable for me.

Cons

Reports feel a bit limited and exporting data to Excel isn't as simple as it should be, turning reports into something workable in Excel can be pretty frustrating.

made accounting so easy

Pros

My customers really enjoy being able to review past and paid invoices directly online. It's been working smoothly for us and it's also getting new features regularly which keeps things moving forward.

Cons

Something holding it back for me is that there's no payroll support and that's pretty frustrating. I'd also prefer having payroll handled in just one tool rather than juggling options.

worth it

Pros

This software has been excellent especially considering the price. It handles automatic recurring items, time tracking and keeps everything organized right inside the app. There's also an option to set up backend access for clients so they can log in to pay and review hours, handy if you track time for tasks. The built in CRM is lightweight but useful, you can store client details and message them directly through the platform. Also, it tracks finances for both personal and business use and it largely categorizes expenses for you which makes staying on top of spending much simpler. Invoicing is included as well and you can customize invoices to match your brand.

Cons

No real complaints here, there's a lot to like and the updates keep improving the product.

freshbooks handles billing for me

Pros

We used to spend a lot of time reminding customers to pay for services and it quickly got boring and repetitive. Then I started using this service, once I enter the details of a deal, it takes care of the rest for me.

Cons

A lot of customers end up ordering the same product so it would be more convenient to create one batch invoice for all of them. Instead, the service requires setting everything up separately for each client.

organizes everything for me

Pros

Best part of this software is how it covers basically every area of people's day-to-day life. I especially appreciate the way everything is sorted into clear categories like "expenses," "invoices," "time tracking," "projects," and more... so planning the next step feels simple and I can stay ahead instead of scrambling at the last minute. Another standout feature is how simple it is to use, along with a really friendly, adaptive interface. The mobile app also feels even better than the desktop version which is a big reason I'm genuinely happy with it.

Cons

Honestly there's nothing I would change. The only small tweak I'd consider is adjusting the colors on the main page but beyond that everything feels spot-on.

reliable tool

Pros

The interface is really well-designed and simple to navigate. The product name pretty much sums it up, It feels fresh and does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's a reliable option for a small business that needs dependable day-to-day functionality.

Cons

Pricing runs a bit high especially when compared with QuickBooks. It also doesn't include nearly as many features as QB Online so the cost feels like a downside, alongside the more limited feature set.

interface is amazing

Pros

I began using it around 2015 after a client suggested it. Since then, I've been able to keep all my tasks and project details organized by adding and tracking everything in one place. I've stuck with it across multiple client projects mainly because creating invoices is simple and fast. The whole setup feels really tidy and the privacy controls are strong for both my clients and their customers. Another standout is the payment flow, once I send a payment request and it gets approved, the funds hit my PayPal account within minutes. It also lets me send reminders to clients and I don't have to log into PayPal separately to request payment.

Cons

It could benefit from adding more payment methods directly through the platform especially so international clients have more options when paying.

fast billing saves time

Pros

Keeping everything organized is the biggest win for me and it's reassuring to know my data stays safe and secure. Billing is also much quicker which cuts down the time spent on paperwork and gives me more time for the work that actually matters. Also, the pricing feels much more reasonable than what some competitors charge out of pocket.

Cons

There really isn't anything bothering me about this software.
