“Workflow visibility and commit tracking”
Pros
It really helps keep our entire software development workflow organized. We're able to follow every task, see what each developer is working on and quickly get a clear view of what everyone is doing. Being able to link code commits directly to tasks is especially valuable as well.
Cons
One thing that would make it even better is having more product management and planning features. A more modern roadmap planning tool that works alongside the rest of the platform would be a very useful addition.

“Great for website projects”
Pros
Designed with website development and other IT projects in mind, this tool works especially well for project management. The Agile-based approach and the scrum master role give it a distinct advantage and having a free version along with reasonably priced plans makes it even more appealing.
Cons
One area that still needs work is integration with other related tools. Adding stronger connections with relevant applications would make it much more practical and useful for users.

“Reliable incident ticketing”
Pros
This has been one of the best ticketing tools I've used for incident management. It comes with useful features for prioritizing incidents and the instant email alerts for new tickets are really helpful.
Cons
Interface could use some improvement especially the dull color scheme. There are also times when it lags while loading which may be related to server issues.

“Top automation and UX”
Pros
It's definitely earned its place as a leading task management platform. On top of that, the team keeps improving it which only makes the product better over time. I've especially enjoyed the automation features released recently, along with how user-friendly the UX has become over the past few years.
Cons
This really isn't a beginner-friendly tool since there are so many moving parts and plenty of things can go wrong. It also needs a dedicated administrator role to manage everything properly. On top of that, I think the workflow engine could have been a little more simple.

“Helpful for work tracking”
Pros
During my training at the company, we used it to track all of our work and it turned out to be really helpful. It makes it simple to see what has already been completed, what is currently in progress and what still needs to be planned for the future.
Cons
Overall, everything has been good. The platform is quite broad so it takes a bit of time to understand how everything works. Proper documentation for beginners would make the learning process much more helpful.

“great support but bulky”
Pros
It has really become the standard tool for tracking projects and tasks in many companies. There's plenty of support and documentation available which helps a lot and it also gives you room to customize it to fit different workflows.
Cons
Actually using it can feel like a bit of a chore and it's not always very simple. It tends to work better for more technical users while others may find it bulky and difficult to handle.

“Productive tracking and budget control”
Pros
Using it has been very easy. It helps with tracking progress, assigning budgets, managing any blockers that come up and comparing productivity over different periods of time.
Cons
A few areas could still use automation, such as automatically generating emails when a task is completed. The user interface could also be improved.

“User-friendly workflow tracking”
Pros
Keeping track of the work that still needs to be completed is really simple with this. It clearly shows the branch, commits and pull requests we've already initiated which helps a lot with staying organized. Posting comments and questions is also very easy and the whole platform feels very user-friendly. Running JQL queries is simple too which makes finding things much faster.
Cons
Getting to the Confluence page has been a bit of a hassle at times.

“Handy ticketing with better guidance”
Pros
Whenever I need to jump into it, the system feels fairly easy to use. For ticket management, it offers more built-in guidance than SolarWinds and comes across as more user-friendly overall.
Cons
This might be related to how we have it configured but I do wish I could reply to tickets directly through email instead of having to log in every time.

“Great customization but needs careful configuration”
Pros
Every company can tailor it to match its own needs and in the places where I've used it, no two setups have ever looked the same.
Cons
If a company doesn't invest the time to configure it properly from the start, it won't end up being very useful for individual users.

“Strong features and analytics”
Pros
Packed with features, this software has a gorgeous and very simple interface. The GitHub integration works really well, the API is strong for automation and being able to tag people in ticket comments is genuinely useful. The analytics are also excellent for spotting trends and understanding what's going on.
Cons
Performance is a recurring issue since the app often feels sluggish. The UI can also be buggy especially when updating ticket statuses. For example, after changing a ticket's status, the interface sometimes doesn't show the update until I reload the page. Selecting a ticket assignee can be frustrating too because it often picks the wrong person.

“Platform with quick rollout”
Pros
One of the biggest players in the market and getting it deployed is very easy. The platform feels simple which makes the rollout process simple and manageable.
Cons

“Versatile drag-and-drop workflow”
Pros
The drag-and-drop functionality is one of the best parts. It feels simple to use and there are plenty of different ways to reach the final result depending on how you prefer to work.
Cons
From a tech-savvy user perspective, I really haven't run into any major issues with the software. If anything, the number of options can feel a bit overwhelming at first especially for someone new to it.

“Custom workflow tools”
Pros
When you need a management system that can handle just about everything, this and the portfolio really fit the bill. Every part of the workflow can be customized in countless ways and it connects easily with the rest of their software development tools. After the setup is in place, a lot of the work becomes automatic for the team and the productivity upside can be enormous.
Cons
Keeping up with the updates can be a lot. While some of them add useful features without disrupting what already works, others are more disruptive and force you to hunt down moved settings just to configure things the way you need. That only adds to the already significant cost of setting up a new project. If you have someone focused on administration, the rest of the team will likely have a much better time with it. It is an extremely capable tool but that also means there is a learning curve and it takes time to manage well.

“simple tracking that works”
Pros
Working in an office that strictly follows Agile, this tool really helps us stay on top of the tasks that need to be completed within a specific timeframe. It also lets us monitor team velocity and clearly visualize performance through the burndown chart. Another big plus is how customizable it is based on the needs of each project. It's user-friendly and, overall, one of the best suites for software development teams that work with the Agile process.
Cons
Only downside is that it feels a bit expensive for startups or companies that are still in the early growth stage.

“Widely used but outdated”
Pros
It plays a major role in the project management ecosystem and most large companies rely on it.
Cons
At the same time, the software feels very dated, it runs slowly, the interface looks like it's stuck in the 2000s and it doesn't seem like any new features have been added in quite a while.

“Feature-rich tracking and reporting”
Pros
Report generation works really well and the features for tracking issues are very useful. The user interface is clean and the description and comment options make it simple to keep information updated and clearly documented.
