“simple task tracking”
Pros
Working with this tool feels very simple and creating tasks or issues as well as searching for them is easy and user-friendly.
Cons
One concern is that when users are allowed to create tasks independently, there's a real chance of duplicating issues and causing quite a bit of confusion. More autonomy and collaboration can also make reporting less reliable and harder to keep accurate.

“Great for engineering teams”
Pros
Across our Engineering team, this is the go-to platform for project management, bug tracking, managing the bug lifecycle, sprint planning and a wide range of agile needs. It's honestly one of the strongest suites an organization could have.
Cons
It has covered pretty much every requirement we've had so far. The only thing still on our wishlist is broader integration with automation-related technologies.

“Reliable task tracking”
Pros
Project and task tracking is clearly where this tool shines and it handles that part really well. Its configurability can be both a strength and a weakness but the upside is that you can tailor the platform to fit your company's specific needs.
Cons
At the same time, there is so much configuration involved and the documentation around it is not very strong which makes it difficult to maintain properly over time. Another major downside is that some features you would reasonably expect to be included require paid plugins instead, such as checkboxes for task lists, proper Gantt reporting, intelligent reporting and better dashboard widgets.

“Collaboration and progress tracking”
Pros
Remote collaboration works really well here especially being able to leave comments and keep track of progress as things move along. Tagging someone on a task is easy since you can just @ mention them. I also appreciate being able to add POV comments and reassign tasks when needed.
Cons
Getting comfortable with the platform takes time. I'm still working out the best way to use it, really learn it and make it efficient for both myself and my team. The interface as a whole also feels very overwhelming.

“Task tracking setup”
Pros
Handling a large number of tasks with this software feels very efficient. It's highly customizable and more user-friendly than many other options I've tried. I'd definitely like to keep using it.
Cons
The downside is the extra cost tied to customization, like adding more columns in the board view or including additional properties in tickets.

“Great for software teams”
Pros
This works really well for software teams, no question about it. Tracking bugs and managing sprints feels much more efficient than before and it has made the whole process easier to handle.
Cons
When I tried using it outside of software teams, like in Sales or Marketing, it just didn't work out very well. It feels like those departments have a different way of thinking that doesn't really fit with this kind of IT-focused software.

“Easy service desk workflow”
Pros
From day one, the platform has been very easy to use. Our staff and business partners can send requests through the Service Desk and our engineers log their effort in the software without any trouble. We mostly stick with the default setup and it has worked really well for our needs. There's basically no training required because the interface is self-explanatory. That reduces confusion and helps everyone submit and record accurate information.
Cons
The biggest frustration is the speed. At times, it feels extremely slow and it does not seem to have done much over the years to address that. If you need full project management, portfolio planning and similar capabilities, you'll need to purchase add-ons to expand the functionality. And yes, it really is that slow. The time saved by how simple it is ends up getting eaten up just waiting for pages to load.

“Perfect for teams”
Pros
This has been an ideal tool for agile development. Everyone on the team can see tasks, update or edit them and keep track of each other's progress. The kanban board is especially user-friendly and makes day-to-day work very manageable.
Cons
From a regular user perspective rather than an admin one, I do wish there were more visible options and resources to help understand the different task settings and choices.

“Versatile and scalable platform”
Pros
It pretty much handles anything you need. It works well for both small and large projects and it can be customized to match different needs at every stage. The cloud services are mostly hands-off while still being fast and responsive.
Cons
That same level of customization can also be a downside. It tends to work best when dedicated administrators are available to manage the day-to-day details so it's a better fit for larger teams. It also takes experienced users to set it up properly.

“Flexible tracking and teamwork”
Pros
From issue resolution to full project tracking, this software gives you plenty of detailed customization so you can set it up the way you want. Team collaboration also works really well, no matter what kind of project you're managing.
Cons
Because the software is fairly technical some people might be reluctant to start using it at first. That said, with a bit of training, most users should be able to learn it without much trouble.

“Workflow automation”
Pros
When it comes to managing custom workflows, this has been a really strong tool. We were able to set up and automate most of our workflow tasks which cut down a lot of repetitive manual work. From an admin perspective, there's also a huge amount of knowledge base content available. On top of that, the out-of-the-box workflows and features are generic but still very useful so most software and agile projects can get up and running right away.
Cons
One thing that's missing is the ability to import and export workflows from one instance to another.

“JQL makes tracking easy”
Pros
One thing that really helps is how simple JQL is even without any training. It makes searching through tens of thousands of IT issues much simpler and helps pinpoint the right one without a lot of effort.
Cons
A frustrating limitation is the lack of a third level in the issue hierarchy. Tasks and stories can sit under epics but there's no clear built-in way to group multiple epics together into a larger collection.

“Faster project delivery”
Pros
The project management features and ticketing system have been working really well for us. With this tool, our team was able to deliver the project more quickly.
Cons
One thing that could be better is the testing period. The trial only gives 7 days to try the standard plan which includes the option to add more users and access more project admin tools.

“Well-organized Atlassian integration”
Pros
Everything feels well organized and it connects nicely with many of the other applications in the suite.
Cons
It's honestly hard to point out any real weakness because when one area falls short, another app in the suite can usually handle it.

“Great for sprint tracking”
Pros
It's an awesome tool for managing projects organizing sprints, tracking the status of every task and measuring delivery progress.
Cons
At times, there are issues when creating tasks, it keeps loading and doesn't actually show the task as created even though it was. Because of that bug, duplicate tasks often end up being created.

“Helpful tracking”
Pros
It works really well for team sprint activities and it's simple to commit tasks, raise issues and keep track of the project's progress.
Cons
The migration process is a big downside. It affects uptime and can also cause some data loss so I would avoid moving to the cloud or switching back from it.

“Reliable teamwork across departments”
Pros
This works really well for large companies. It helps different departments collaborate better and the time limits on requests are very useful because you can be confident they will be completed on time.
Cons
I don't really have any complaints about it. The only thing I'd suggest is an update after adding extra comments. It would also be better if edited items could be given priority afterward.

“Large marketplace and standard workflows”
Pros
There's a huge selection of plugins and tools in the Marketplace which adds a lot of flexibility. It's also widely used across the video game industry so it feels like a standard choice for task management and bug tracking. Another strong point is how many ways it gives you to present data to users while also pulling insights from backlogs and generating charts that are genuinely useful for project managers.
Cons
The downside is that the sheer number of tools and settings makes it difficult to fully master. Getting around all the options isn't always easy and since the platform is constantly being updated and changed, tutorials or training courses can become outdated pretty quickly.

“Organized boards for projects”
Pros
Across our team, we rely on it for tracking bug reports, feature requests, new ideas and overall planning. I use it both with the support team and for a separate project where I have my own board. Keeping each project in its own space makes it much simpler to stay organized and see exactly what's getting done.
Cons
Sometimes it gets noticeably slow. If a page hasn't fully loaded and you click into a search box too soon, it can trigger random keyboard shortcuts instead of letting you type. A few of the admin tools also feel a bit awkward to use.

“Versatile support hub”
Pros
It works well in a lot of scenarios, you can use it as a knowledge base, a help desk or even a complete support system for organizations that run multiple help desks.
Cons
Interface feels very awkward and outdated and the usability is honestly among the worst I've seen. It sits at the complete opposite end of the spectrum compared with tools like G Suite and Basecamp.
