Cons
I have noticed that with all its power comes potential complexity. Setting up custom workflows and automations can be time-consuming, especially for teams unfamiliar with Jira's details. I like the queue-like ticket system because it ensures every request is accounted for and nothing gets lost. I also like that it helps me keep track of all work and responsibilities, so no task, no matter how big or small is forgotten.
Cons
Ironically, the part I like most about Jira is also the part I dislike the most. I find the ticketing system to be hit or miss, especially the notification system. I do not always receive email notifications for tickets I've created or previously viewed, which can be problematic, particularly for time-sensitive tasks.
