In my previous role as a Clinical Annotation Specialist, I found Jira the best for tracking time and managing workflows. I had no trouble using it and navigating it was fairly simple too.

Pros

Jiras search function is powerful and versatile which makes it easy to create educational dashboards that enhance our decision-making and project management. It is excellent for task distribution and prioritization within the team which is another standout feature. From a managerial perspective, it is also great for tracking completed work and time spent.

Cons

The number of issue types in Jira makes it tough to keep track of which ones are relevant in different situations, which frustrates me. I also dislike that many features are hidden and only discovered by accident or through Atlassian update emails. Sometimes, I wish Jira's numerous products were merged into a single solution.

What I like the most is that its stable, reliable, comprehensive and well known as an industry standard.

Cons

I find some UI aspects in my version of Jira quite annoying. For instance, screenshots are always added as thumbnails, the text styling options in the ticket description box are limited, formatting in the editing view differs from the saved view, and it is quite difficult to locate past tickets.
