Project management

Pros

Managing projects with this tool has been one of the best parts for me. A single organization can handle multiple projects at the same time without any trouble and that works really well.

Cons

One thing I'm not too happy with is the data export feature for users. It would be much better if users could export data properly for audits or reporting. That option does exist but right now it's not very useful and definitely needs improvement.

Agile reports

Pros

Keeping track of team velocity and the different reports is really important in an agile setup and this has been helpful in a lot of ways.

Cons

There's honestly not much to complain about. If I had to point out one area that could be better, it would be the query section. It would be useful to have some default queries available.

Dev project tracking

Pros

Handling projects and issues is very easy with this tool and it works really well for software development.

Cons

Every now and then, the user interface has a few bugs. They are not serious but they can still be frustrating.

Clean design

Pros

Right from the start, this has felt like a very powerful system. The range of things it can handle is impressive even down to the smallest tasks and the interface has a very clean look to it.

Cons

Because the software operates at such a high level some of the smaller details tend to get overlooked. A checklist option would make it much easier to manage tasks within Epics. It would also help a lot if multiple users could be added to a single Epic instead of only tagging them. On top of that, getting certain things done currently takes quite a few steps.

Clear insights

Pros

This software comes with a wide range of features that help boost productivity while also improving transparency and clarity across the workflow.

Cons

At times, those features aren't very obvious which can make it difficult to take full advantage of everything the platform has to offer.

Dev toolkit

Pros

It handles just about anything you need it to do. The platform is highly flexible and packed with features built specifically for software development and bug tracking which makes it really useful for technical teams.

Cons

That huge feature set can also make it feel overwhelming at first. Setting it up and getting comfortable with it can take some effort especially for less technical users like clients on the non-development side.

great tool

Pros

Right away, the query features and built-in Agile tools felt very easy to pick up which really helped encourage adoption across the company. The integration with Confluence is outstanding and easily one of its biggest strengths.

Cons

One downside is that the cloud version often feels far more limited than the enterprise version.

Confluence sync!!

Pros

Bug tracking, reporting and keeping an eye on issues are handled really well. A single form lets you log a bug, follow it and share it right away which makes the whole process very practical. One of the biggest advantages is the native Confluence integration since the cards are automatically referenced in the documentation there.

Cons

Getting started with it is not very easy. New users usually need some training the first time they work with it and the search function can feel tedious and frustrating to deal with.

awkward editor

Pros

I like the wide range of features, the high level of customization, the variety of available views and reports and the fact that it is widely used across the industry.

Cons

There are a lot of features packed in but some of them feel unfinished or not very well integrated. The WYSIWYG editor is awkward to work with and I still don't get why proper Markdown syntax isn't included. It also doesn't handle modern emojis and the whole thing can feel pretty sluggish at times.

great project task tracking

Pros

Built around agile workflows, this software makes task management feel very natural. The drag-and-drop ticket feature is especially convenient for updating each task's status and keeping track of progress as work moves along.

Cons

Since the platform is designed with agile practices at its core, it includes a lot of built-in terminology and concepts. Anyone who is not already familiar with that development style may need a quick crash course before starting a new project.

Portfolio management

Pros

Having multiple modes and boards available has been fantastic because it supports different team styles and ways of working. The "Portfolio" add-on was a real game changer especially when it came to keeping leadership updated and improving communication upstream.

Cons

One frustration is that our centralized managers are still hesitant to approve too many workflows. It's not really clear to us why they see that as a maintenance burden.

Task dashboard

Pros

Having several types of tasks combined on one homepage is really useful since it gives you access to a wide range of tasks in one place and lets you organize them by functionality and priority.

Cons

Search feature is pretty difficult to use well. It feels awkward and getting where you need to go often means clicking the home button just to return to the start and begin again.

Team collaboration

Pros

Working with the technical, marketing and design teams is much simpler with this software. It really helps align everyday tasks across all three groups.

Cons

At first, the user experience feels a little unfriendly. Still, once you spend some time with it, it starts to feel much less complicated. I actually stepped away from it for a few months because of that but when I came back, I realized it mostly just takes some practice.

Project tracking

Pros

Keeping up with my projects is simple with this software and I can quickly check the status of each one as well as see which teammate is handling what.

Cons

Project dashboards can feel overwhelming and it really needs a more easy tutorial that walks through the features and makes it easier to use.

Adaptable interface

Pros

Getting started didn't take much time and the interface offers plenty of powerful options to work with. The app also stands out for how adaptable and dynamic it is which makes it useful across different needs and workflows.

Cons

Biggest downside is definitely the price which feels much too high. It could also be simplified a bit more when setting it up for smaller projects.

Flexible planning

Pros

Really love how versatile this is. It lets me map out a full game plan, set up tasks that depend on each other, assign tickets and tasks to the right people and break bigger work into mini-goals or mini-projects with epics. It covers a lot of different planning needs in one place.

Cons

There's also a lot going on which makes it hard to settle into a clear workflow. The newer project style isn't very clear in terms of what it actually adds and I still prefer the older version because it feels more customizable. To really get the most out of it some proper training is definitely needed.

Smart search

Pros

Search and filtering tools stood out as really strong. The way everything is organized, along with the hierarchy setup, makes it simple to keep track of items and follow progress without getting lost.

Cons

It would make it even better is a Slack integration especially if it could automatically track tickets and send update notifications on them.

Easy and informative

Pros

Right from the first use, this product feels simple and easy. It's very user-friendly, the interface is clear and just about anyone can pick it up quickly. It's also informative and the UI makes everything easy to follow.

Cons

One thing that would make it even better is offering more features in the free version, such as the ability to extract a report for each story moved through different statuses during the sprint.

Team platform

Pros

Our IT team originally adopted it to manage their development work and I began using the platform to keep track of everything they were doing without any trouble. Later on, I realized we also needed a CRM and while management is still reviewing different options, I started using this software for that purpose as well. It has been working flawlessly even though that is not its primary function. The platform is flexible enough that, with only a few tweaks, I was able to turn it into a temporary CRM. On top of that, once I close a sale, all the client information is already stored in the system which makes it much easier for the IT team to continue developing the product.

Cons

Up to this point, it has come very close to being perfect. The one thing I would still want is the ability to send emails directly to people outside the organization, instead of being limited to communicating through comments only.
