awesome ticket updates

Pros

This has been the best application we use for raising any issue. The backend team resolves problems promptly and we keep getting updates on the ticket throughout the process.

Cons

I haven't run into any issues with the software or the portal. Everything has been working perfectly and the software has been awesome overall.

simple collaboration hub

Pros

Interface feels very simple to use and it supports a wide variety of collaboration needs really well.

Cons

At times, there's just so much information available that finding exactly what you need right away can be difficult.

easy to use

Pros

It's part of my daily routine now and once you get the hang of it, using it becomes very natural. The whole system feels user-friendly and easy. That said, proper training is really important if you want to get the most out of the software.

Cons

There really isn't much to criticize since the product is very direct and simple to use. The only thing I wish it offered is a way to acknowledge a comment without having to leave another comment in response.

strong IT reporting

Pros

This tool does a great job of tracking IT deliverables, keeping priorities organized and giving us access to some genuinely intelligent reports.

Cons

Its functionality really starts to matter only once projects reach the IT development stage. Planning before IT is harder to handle since it usually has to happen in a different tool and then be moved over later.

SDLC integrations

Pros

One of the biggest advantages is how well it connects with other widely used SDLC tools like IT Align and qTest which makes it much more practical to handle test cases, defects and user stories in one workflow.

Cons

The performance still falls short of what I expected. On top of that, the permission structure is quite complicated and it can be frustrating for admins to manage properly.

helpful boards but tricky navigation

Pros

Moving between boards is convenient and reassigning tickets from one staff member to another is easy. The Teams integration also makes the program much nicer to work with.

Cons

It isn't as user-friendly as some other tools. Anyone who isn't very technical will probably have a hard time finding their way around the software.

great features to explore

Pros

I find it very effective for managing Scrum projects, generating reports and supporting teams of different sizes. It's also fairly easy to use and scales well as team needs grow.

Cons

Getting started can feel a bit overwhelming at first. It would also be helpful to see support for additional Agile management methodologies although I'm not entirely sure whether that's already possible.

project visibility and history

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is the project management approach and how clearly it gives visibility into the entire project. It's also a big plus that it's free for defense workers. The archive history is especially valuable because it lets you follow the whole project from start to finish.

Cons

Biggest challenge is how long it takes to learn the language used in the system. There are too many language options for managing projects and that makes it time-consuming to learn yourself and even harder to teach across a team. It would be better with fewer options.

developer favorite

Pros

One of the best things about this tool is how configurable it is. I can set up custom fields and tailor software workflows to match exactly what I need. When something more specific comes up, there are plenty of plugins available on the market and those can also be configured without much trouble. It also handles user roles really well so each person can have different permissions depending on their responsibilities. Since it's an Atlassian product, it connects nicely with Bitbucket and other tools like GitLab. From a developer's point of view, it's especially useful that moving a task to in progress can automatically create a Git branch.

Cons

The tradeoff for having so many features and configuration options is that it can feel complicated at first, both in daily use and during setup. Still, overall it stands out as a top-tier project management and issue tracking tool on the market.

aligned team boards

Pros

Creating boards is really easy and setting permissions, adding viewers or watchers, tracking changes and coordinating work across different people or teams all feels very aligned. The platform is simple to use and helps us manage multiple tasks at once without letting anything slip through the cracks or losing track of where we paused on a project that had to be set aside because something else became a higher priority.

Cons

One part that gets annoying sometimes is the pop-up style interface that appears when clicking an item on the board. I usually end up clicking the item and then opening the specific issue in a full window because it's much easier to navigate that way. That extra step can be frustrating although it definitely doesn't take away from the overall value of the tool.

agile project control

Pros

Handling even very complex Agile projects is one of this tool's biggest strengths. The functionality is broad and highly configurable which gives us a lot of flexibility in how we set things up. The GitHub integration is especially valuable, helping developers work more efficiently while also giving project managers better visibility into progress. We can also configure analytics like burn-down charts which works well for management reporting. On top of that, there's a huge selection of apps available to cover just about any requirement we run into. The option for on-premise deployment is another big plus especially for security-focused clients.

Cons

Getting the most out of the platform does require administrator training since full configuration isn't very easy. Some setup changes also take quite a while to implement which can slow things down. Another downside is that certain features standard users used to rely on are not clearly available in the latest interface, such as hiding internal notes when the instance is shared with clients.

flexible editing

Pros

Being able to return to information I already entered and make changes without starting over is something I really appreciate. It saves time and keeps me from having to reenter everything again.

Cons

At times, pulling up information that was already entered can be frustrating. In some sections, it's also difficult to navigate and manage the different available options.

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is that a single ticket lets us update working hours, tasks and the timeline description all in one place which is behd useful.

agile tracking that works

Pros

Built around agile methodology, it works really well for day-to-day task tracking. It helps keep milestones organized and makes it much easier to monitor the overall progress of a project in a structured way.

Cons

New users might need a bit of time before feeling comfortable with it. Things like assigning issues to team members, resolving them and similar actions can take some getting used to at first.

helpful ticket features

Pros

Around our company, the engineers seem to rely on this program quite a bit and I've seen a lot of different setups as they adjust it to fit what works best for them. It does a really good job of tracking escalations and makes communication with remote employees much easier. Overall, it feels like a very useful tool for businesses. I also really appreciate that the ticketing system lets you move a ticket back and forth when needed. The email notifications are helpful too.

Cons

Getting started with it was a little difficult at first but that is pretty normal with any software you are just learning. I do wish the notification system were stronger, more like the way Microsoft email alerts pop up right away when something new comes in. Aside from that, the system works very well.

development tracking made easy

Pros

Our team mostly relies on this for tracking product development and it's been really useful for getting a quick view of which stage current requests are in.

Cons

There honestly hasn't been much to complain about so far. Since we primarily use it for tracking, it's been doing exactly what we need it to do.

scrum board favorite

Pros

For the past two years, my scrum team has been using this tool regularly and it has become a core part of how we work. The interface is really well laid out making it simple to view user stories, defects and the different sprint reports all in one place. It's a very valuable tool for any Agile team and honestly, it's hard to imagine running Scrum properly without a board like this.

Cons

Overall, I'm happy with it but Zephyr's bug reporting could definitely be improved. We've run into problems when trying to generate reports in Zephyr so that part still needs some work.

easy tracking companion

Pros

Running Scrum with a software engineering team, this became our primary tool for tracking work. For day-to-day users, it's very capable and makes work tracking simple while still giving stakeholders the level of detail they need. Larger tasks can be split into smaller, more manageable pieces so they're easier to understand and act on while the tool still keeps the overall picture visible in terms of what's finished and what's still pending. There's plenty of configuration available to build a workflow that fits the team and it also supports adjustments if the first setup doesn't turn out to be the best one. It connects well with other development tools and applications which helps everything function together as one system. For efficient team workflows, it really feels like an essential tool.

Cons

Downside is that it takes quite a bit of configuration at the beginning to make it truly fit the needs of the users. Initial setup can require some extra support but once that part is done, the rest tends to move forward in a much more easy way.
