agile and practical tool

Pros

Having request templates built in saves time when entering the first details and keeping track of change requests that are already in the system is pretty easy. It also fits the AGILE way of working really well especially when you need to log and monitor sprint activities day by day across successive waves.

Cons

At the same time, there are several different ways to use it which can create confusion between team members. It can also start to feel like a data warehouse where tickets get misplaced, forgotten or even duplicated. Without great team-level management, the system can quickly turn into a cluttered pile of data.

project tracking features

Pros

After nearly 3 years of using this software, I'm still impressed by how many useful features it offers for project management. We can begin by creating stories and epics, then log time against each story as work progresses. It also gives us the ability to check every user's timesheet for the full month which is very helpful. On top of that, the Kanban board makes it simple to track the stories in each sprint. Overall, it has been an excellent tool for managing projects.

Cons

I haven't run into any major downsides with it. That said, there have been a few outages that temporarily blocked access to the software and at times it can feel a bit slow.

customization and automation

Pros

There's a lot you can tailor in this software to fit the way your team works. The custom workflows and automation are especially useful for keeping everyone aligned with the right process and staying compliant.

Cons

The biggest frustration is the speed. It's toughly slow, click, wait 20 seconds, then click again. It still hasn't made it feel responsive even in the SaaS version. Performance really matters and this app falls short there. When something goes wrong, it tends to completely fall over instead of failing gracefully. It's also a very large application so the startup time is about as heavy as you'd expect. On top of that, configuration can be inconsistent and the error messages are often cryptic.

agile planning done right

Pros

It covers just about everything needed for sprint planning and staying aligned with Agile practices. The customer support is excellent and the frequent updates make the app enjoyable to keep using. It also helps every team member clearly follow their own tasks as well as see what the rest of the team is working on.

Cons

Because more features have been added over time, the interface can feel a bit overwhelming for new users at first. That said, after spending some time with the application, it becomes much easier to get comfortable with it.

boards and roadmaps

Pros

Around 18 months ago, it's platform got a full rebuild and redesign and the updated interface is much clearer and more easy to navigate. It's a very capable solution for managing tasks, projects and teams. Once everything is configured properly, you can set up boards, run agile and sprint workflows, build roadmaps and do quite a bit more. It's also highly customizable and integrates nicely with other tools through its APIs.

Cons

Overall, the software is excellent. That said, permissions and configuration settings can be a bit difficult to keep track of at times. Setting everything up correctly takes some learning and practice. It also helps to keep the setup as simple as possible so it's easier to train others on how to use the platform.

real-time updates

Pros

It works really well with larger software products and does a good job of delivering real-time updates to users.

Cons

Even though I appreciate how well it integrates with standard business software, the task management side feels confusing. I can see they're aiming to give a more detailed view of each team member's progress but the way it's set up is hard to follow.

great ticket tracking

Pros

Keeping tickets organized with this tool is really easy and it makes staying on top of everything much easier. I can link multiple bug tickets together and manage or work through them without needing to open each one individually which saves a lot of time. Having boards available is also a big plus.

Cons

At this point, I honestly don't have any complaints about it. I've been really happy with the software and would absolutely recommend it.

team sprint hub

Pros

Running sprints and projects is well covered here and the platform feels very comprehensive. The professional forums are also helpful when support or guidance is needed. One of the biggest benefits is having the whole team working in the same place, sharing information and keeping track of project status together. It also has enough flexibility to support different kinds of products.

Cons

Because the platform is so comprehensive, it does take some background knowledge to use it well and entry-level employees may have a hard time adjusting to the complexity at first. Also

clear task assignments

Pros

Creating task cards is really useful and being able to mention the relevant person helps assign work clearly and keeps everyone informed.

Cons

It does take a bit more effort to learn and use compared with some other software so it doesn't feel as easy at first.

boards for teamwork

Pros

Using this has been pretty easy. I can drag and drop cards that are created as stories from the requirements which makes organizing work much more convenient. It also helps a lot with assigning tasks to different team members and keeping responsibilities clear.

Cons

One thing that feels missing is an iOS and Android app since being able to collaborate on the go and update changes in real time would make it even more useful. Pricing could also be more cost-effective.

tracking and ticketing win

Pros

Keeping tabs on project status and progress is much more manageable with this. You can tag specific people pretty much anywhere which makes communication faster and clearer. The ticketing system is also really useful since anyone can submit a ticket whenever a task comes up or a bug needs to be reported.

Cons

The one thing I keep coming back to is the interface, it feels far too outdated. Even for 2019, it looks more like something designed back in 2009.

simple tracking joy

Pros

Getting started with it has been very easy. Registering projects and managing them takes very little effort and handling boards while keeping up with project progress feels comfortable. Attachments work well too.

Cons

Interface could be more user-friendly. Other than that, I can't think of anything else that really feels uncomfortable.

marketing ticketing favorite

Pros

Whenever I need to request landing pages, email sends or other marketing work, this is the ticketing system I rely on most. From a marketing user's perspective, it's easy to use, just fill in the required fields for the ticket type, submit it and you're set.

Cons

One thing that gets frustrating is being added as a watcher on tickets because I end up getting flooded with emails every time someone comments or makes any update. I'd much rather have those notifications sent through Slack instead of Outlook.

scrum backlog done right

Pros

It works really well for running scrum and I especially appreciate being able to manage the product backlog and adjust priorities without much hassle.

Cons

Editing the details inside stories feels a little more fiddly than it probably needs to be but honestly it's a pretty minor issue overall.

bitbucket workflow boost

Pros

This web application has been fantastic for managing and organizing our workflow. It became even more valuable once the Bitbucket integration was added. Every commit, pull request and branch is neatly tied to the right ticket and specific task which keeps everything much more organized.

Cons

The biggest downside is that it can be difficult for non-technical users to learn. If someone doesn't have a tech background, getting comfortable with the software may take quite a lot of time.

great for agile teams

Pros

There are quite a few features here that can genuinely improve a development team's workflow and in an agile setup, that kind of functionality is especially valuable.

Cons

Getting started is tough because the learning curve is very steep. The software includes a lot of features and multiple ways to use them and even after figuring it out on your own, it can still be hard to teach the rest of the team.

perfect for teamwork

Pros

Built around Agile practices, it already includes epics, user stories and tasks which makes organizing work much more structured. The AD integration works really well too. You can tag multiple people on tickets, collaborate through comments and keep work moving with tasks and ongoing discussion.

Cons

Getting comfortable with this software can be pretty challenging for some users at first. A few important buttons, like add task and log time, are quite small and can be hard for new users to notice or use. Sprint planning and management can also feel a bit difficult to handle.

agile templates

Pros

From small teams to large enterprises, this software adapts really well and handles both with the same level of efficiency. There's a great selection of templates to choose from and if those don't fit, you can build your own to match the way your organization works. It also helps teams get started with Agile or move over to Agile development without much friction.

Cons

Nothing major stands out as a downside. If I had to point to one area for improvement, it would be having a better way to track dependencies across multiple teams.

team communication hub

Pros

Every company runs into challenges when it comes to keeping communication clear between teams, offices and outside providers. This software feels like an essential tool for helping employees stay connected and keep track of tasks within the workspace. It's fairly simple to use and follow and the notification system works really well so updates are hard to miss.

Cons

Honestly, I can't point to any major downsides. The design isn't flashy and the navigation isn't extremely simple but that simplicity actually seems intentional so the software can stay focused on the core tasks that really matter.

great dashboards and reports

Pros

We used it to build Agile dashboards and it supports Scrum, Kanban and other board styles really well. It's also a great tool for managing tickets, user stories and similar project items. In our case, it was used mostly for user story tracking and project status reporting across several projects. Different board setups, workflows and user configurations can be tailored to match each project's needs. It also provides detailed project reporting through its query-based UI and the dashboard can show pie charts and other visuals so the whole team can quickly see project progress and status. On our projects, the range of report views and board configuration options was especially useful.

Cons

With so many features available, it's pretty easy to lose track of what you changed if you make adjustments by accident. The other downside is the software's high cost.
