complex workflow engine

Pros

It is a tool that a lot of software development teams rely on for handling tickets, tracking issues and managing projects overall. When we use it alongside the full Atlassian product suite, it gives us a great structure for organizing work and setting up clear workflows.

Cons

The biggest downside is how complex it can be. We've tested other platforms like ClickUp and Trello in an effort to move away from it and cut down on the number of tools we need to manage our work.

server monitoring hub

Pros

Keeping track of servers with this application is really convenient and it makes monitoring them easy.

Cons

It does tend to use more data on the server than expected but overall it's still okay to work with.

very easy to use

Pros

Using this product has been a really positive experience because it's so user-friendly.

Cons

It still needs some improvement especially with Slack becoming a strong competitor in this space.

bug tracking and sprints

Pros

It works well for tracking bugs and planning sprints. Being able to query the data is very useful and the field configuration can be adjusted to match specific requirements. The user privilege controls are also a strong point.

Cons

One thing that would make it better is support for query-on-query. It would also help if filters were set to all-users-view by default.

team planning made easy

Pros

Keeping track of bugs and issues with this has been really convenient for our team. We're able to plan sprints, keep work organized and stay on top of everything in one place. It works especially well when you have a larger team involved.

Cons

Searching for certain things can be frustrating at times. The field search doesn't always behave the way it should and sometimes it fails to work properly.

boards and ticket flow

Pros

Getting projects set up is pretty easy and handling tickets is simple too. Moving work across the board and managing progress feels simple and works well for day-to-day use.

Cons

Reporting is where it falls short. We ended up using Tempo for time tracking because the reporting there is much stronger. We also attempted to use it for Support but it doesn't let us add client information which feels like a basic feature for most support teams. That limitation pushed us to go with another tool for that purpose. I'm also not a fan of the new interface and keep switching back to the original version. On top of that, permissions are harder to manage than they should be. Even simple permission settings are difficult to configure and that really needs improvement.

teams stay aligned

Pros

Keeping sprints, checklists and team conversations in one place has really helped us stay focused and get projects done on time without losing efficiency. Whether it's a quick customer service problem that needs immediate attention or passing a client's requirements over to the dev team, this is the main platform our team relies on to communicate and keep work moving.

Cons

One thing I've run into is that it doesn't do a good job of surfacing the issues I care about most. If I'm connected to a task but I'm not the original reporter, those projects often don't appear for me so I end up having to search for the task manually.

app management hub

Pros

This platform has become a core part of how our company handles mobile apps. We rely on it for everything, from managing tasks tied to new features or new apps to reporting bugs directly to the development team. It plays a major role in our day-to-day operations and keeps a lot of our work organized in one place.

Cons

Recently released views have been frustrating to use. We have to keep clicking "See old view" at the top just to switch back to the previous layout. The old view is much better and more simple for moving through tasks. For example, the "Edit" button is no longer at the top in the new view while in the old view it is exactly where you would expect it to be.

sprint control hub

Pros

Right from the start, it gave me the level of control I was looking for. Setting up boards and managing sprints was easy and it covers the control features I need.

Cons

Downside is that it often feels heavy and can be slow to load. It would be much more convenient if it were lighter and worked better on mobile phones.

Helpful slack updates but complicated features

Pros

Quick updates and the Slack integration have made it simpler to keep up with what our outsourced developers are working on. Every time a task gets finished or updated, a notification shows up in the Slack channel and that's been really helpful.

Cons

Difficult part is actually using the platform itself. It may be the standard choice for developers but as an end customer trying to track progress, it feels far too complicated and nearly impossible to navigate. I'm often left confused about what has actually been completed. I regularly struggle to find the tasks or boards I need and even figuring out what a comment is referring to can be frustrating.

global ticket management

Pros

easy to use for users at any skill level, this software helps us manage and process tickets for work assigned to our developers all around the world.

Cons

The interface feels a little dated and it can be hard to track project status updates at times but overall it still gets the job done and covers what we need.

visual reporting win

Pros

This software lets project managers spend more time on actual project work and less on admin tasks, mainly because the reporting features are really strong. The built-in charts, like Burndown, Burnup and sprint views, are ready to use and make it much easier to present project status updates to executive management with clear visuals.

Cons

Some users may find the application difficult to use at first because there is a bit of a learning curve. Once they become familiar with how it works though, this tends to be much less of an issue.

Too basic for us!!

Pros

There's a very powerful marketplace with a wide range of plugins available which adds a lot of flexibility to the platform.

Cons

Kanban boards feel pretty basic, they aren't very customizable and the Kanban metrics are only available as a paid feature.

team visibility boost

Pros

Using this has been really easy. It helps align our processes, makes cross-department communication much better and lets anyone in the company quickly check which stage of a process is currently in progress. It does a very good job of keeping everyone informed and in the loop.

Cons

They recently updated the design and I'm not a huge fan of the new look although that could just be because I was so used to the previous version.

scrum tracking powerhouse

Pros

This platform lets me keep projects under control organize day-to-day tasks and collaborate well with my team. It also supports several Scrum frameworks, gives detailed information and provides a wide range of complete charts and reports. Task handling, deadline tracking and time management are some of the strongest features it offers and we really get a lot of value from them.

Cons

Getting started can be a bit challenging especially when it comes to administration. The learning curve feels slower in the beginning for admins though regular users usually won't struggle as much. That said, it's mostly an issue only at the start and not a major problem overall. Also, if notifications and email sync aren't configured properly, your inbox can become overwhelming pretty quickly.

governance made easy

Pros

Our team uses this for IT project management and it has turned out to be a very capable platform. It comes packed with features and the overall design feels simple which makes the product more valuable the longer you work with it. If someone is serious about strong project management and proper governance, this is absolutely worth considering.

Cons

The only real feedback is to keep pushing improvements and not get complacent. A few parts of the UI design could still be reworked so certain features feel even more simple to use.

integration flexibility

Pros

A big advantage of this tool is the broad range of integrations it offers and the overall ecosystem helps companies and teams get their work done more efficiently. It also comes with plenty of features and a lot of customization options which makes it very adaptable to different needs.

Cons

One issue I ran into was with versioning and that ended up making the tool feel quite slow at times.

community issue tracking

Pros

We use this platform to stay in touch with our website developer and log any issues that come up. It lets us create groups and add members without any hassle which makes collaboration much easier. The software is user-friendly and feels very approachable to work with.

Cons

At the start, it was a bit unclear how the software should be used. Better guidance or a clearer introduction would definitely help improve the first experience.

agile project powerhouse

Pros

It's a very capable project management tool especially for more advanced setups. You can organize work into Epics, Stories, Bugs and other issue types and there are plenty of ways to monitor project progress and completion. It also works well as a digital project management solution for teams using Agile methods like Scrum since you can manage Sprints and keep a structured Product Backlog.

Cons

Getting the Board and Workflows configured the way you want is not quick or easy. You really need to understand in advance how issues, issue type links and other settings like Screens and Screen Types work internally to achieve the setup you're aiming for. Another frustrating part is the sprint board when zoomed in, if you try to scroll, only the issue list moves while the filters and top menu stay there taking up too much space and making the screen feel cluttered.
